The fan works seamlessly on my Wi-Fi platform via Alexa. I ask for it to start when I get up and go in the bathroom. By the time I get downstairs it’s heated up my lounge just right.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this last year and love it. Great at cooling down our large front room. The app to control it works well. Have recommended it to family who also went on to buy it and very happy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled to do so because I am so pleased with this purchase. I don’t like anything in my small flat that doesn’t look stylish so I chose this mainly on looks- it’s far better looking than the dyson equivalent. But it’s really much more effective than I thought, I’ve just tried the heat and it distributes the heat quickly and beautifully. The remote control is super useful and although I found the app impossible to setup, I am still giving 5 stars because this is a space saving, stylish and very effective fan/heater. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFan really does look smart, and it’s bigger than I envisioned. It works as you’d expect a tower fan to work but worth the added bonus of Alexa integration. This means it can be turned on or off with voice or even using a routine… for example I have a temperature controlled routine that turns the Fan on or off dependant on the room temperature.

My only complaint is that the fan
Is a little noisy especially on level 3 and oscillating, the noise of the fan is loud and the oscillation makes a creaking noise at the extremities of the rotation.

If noise isn’t a problem for you then I’d highly recommend this fan bearing in mind is only a few weeks old, we’ll have to wait and see what the longevity is.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was skeptical at first after seeing mixed reviews but I really like this heater fan. Has all the functions needed, cool design, easy to connect. Only downside would be that I wish it were quieter, its not loud but just a personal comment. GREAT BUY

I love the ability to remotely power it up in my outside office before I start work. App is great and highly responsive. Heat output fantastic and feels like a lovely wave of warmth. Looks futuristic and build quality is great, should stand the test of time. I recommend!

Google can only turn the fan on and off, and increase speed

It cant change mode or cant change the oscillation type.
You can do this within the built in app on your phone,
Just would of been nice to have some voice activation feature which allowed us to this, who knows maybe in future software update?
Also would be great if they allowed us to decide the rotation range.

Aside from that the fan works fine

There is a little rattling noise when its turned off but still on from the mains which gets a bit annoying

This is a very good heater. Being tall it heats more area and it doesn’t take up a lot of space in a small room. The manual mentions that the remote may interfere with other remote controlled applications and it does tend to switch my tv off since it’s in close proximity. However, if I turn the tv away when I use the heater remote there’s no problem. It’s a very good device.

This is a great design. Lightweight. Doesn’t take up too much room. You need to download the app and pair it. I managed to do it after a few attempts. Have your wifi password handy. It heats up pretty quickly and I used it for my front room, I will also use it in the summer as it has the cool air function. I think it would be too loud for me in the bedroom but it does have a timer and oscillation. A good buy if you can’t afford the Dyson!

Bought this for a garden room. It’s 13×8 foot and this fan heats the room up really well. I’ve been sat out there in the recent snow and it felt really cosy. It turns off when it reaches temperature ( I had it on a table and it thought it was warmer than reality, and turned off – but when on the floor it is good at assessing the right temperature. My fault! Heat rises!!) it turns back on again when the temp drops. Good remote control and can use app on the phone. In the summer, it worked well as a fan, despite the room being south facing and having almost three walls of glass. It’s no air-con and it won’t cool air down but it’s not meant to, it’s an effective fan that has cooled me down on hot days in my glass box!
Design is pretty cool and it is well made and sturdy.

Such a shame the product is now not working properly, will not now go beyond 22oC have ordered a return for a refund from amazon because I can get an exchange?I will be buying another because its great to be able to switch it on and off using alex.the cooling side of it great just the heating is not working properly especially as it has now got colder.a great product when it’s working.

I purchased this fan for a fairly large bedroom and find it heats up the room to the desired temperature quickly and with the swing movement it reaches all corners of the room effectively, I find I don’t have to leave it on for long to obtain a nice warm and cosy room environment. I had to use the cold fan feature a few times this past summer and found it cooled the room adequately and was also great to put on timer whilst I slept as with the speed adjustments you can get it to be softer and quieter than any standard cooling fan. It’s not cheap but imho it’s so far worth the price , as its better than aby Dyson fan I have had. A great dual purpose fan with state of the art features and technology.Plus looks really good tucked away in the corner of any room.

Great addition to my smart home as it integrates seamlessly with my Google home. The lowest setting is plenty powerfull and the wide rotation means I can set it in the middle of my room and get cool air to the whole room

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis fan/heater is amazing. I have used several fans in my cinema room, and never been happy for various reasons. I have used 30 fans, 99 fans, and even the really expensive Dyson bladeless fan/heater, and even after just one day of use, none of them come close.

The height of this fan heater means that the air gets dispersed really well, and the direct mode (when not oscillating) is perfect to get a quick blast of cold air.

I bought it also because it has smart features, and it allows me to set a schedule, but more importantly, set the fan on an hour or so before I go into my cinema room – as sometimes in the summer it gets too hot – and too cold in winter…so being able to set the fan going without having to go out to my converted garage is a dealbreaker.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis fan is sleek and stylish in comparison to other bulky fans.

The heat is really good and blast heat quickly.

Cool air output is really good though I would say that if you want it to be static, where it points is exactly where the air will push out to, with its narrow output you won’t get a large air span like you would a bladed fan or ofcourse the more expensive fans.

It’s not completely silent but it is indeed quieter than bladed fans and again depends on the settings, 1 – 3 is fairly quiet, 4-6 is a woosh sound and 7+ will be louder.

You might want to be aware that it takes a few seconds to kick out air as the motor kicks in.

This fan DOES work with amazon alexa, upon downloading the app, enabling the skill and connecting the fan to WiFi went well, it dies need some settling time, initially I didnt think it would work smoothly as it appeared to delay, but ive successfully turned it off and off and fan speeds up and down with no issues.

    Overall a great fan.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersStruggled to get Alexa voice commands to control this fan, but then worked out that the Skill it tells you to enable isn’t the correct one: use this one instead: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HomeWizard-Climate/dp/B07KSFC66F/ref=mp_s_a_1_1 with the HOME WIZARD CLIMATE not the other one. (Same account linking details)
Works just fine now. And it’s discoverable by the Alexa app. Not yet worked out what the wording is to make it oscillate, but ON OFF HIGH LOW all work.

  18. JasonSherer says:

Despite not having many functions to oscillate, set timer, etc. The app does… But it’s great to be able to tell Alexa to turn the fan on or off from across the room… It needs more verbal instructions though, defies the point in being a voice controlled 1 if I got to keep pulling my phone out to do stuff… Overpriced without all functions… The 2 other modes are clunky to me aswell, soft breeze is more like a power gust into nothing.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is great, i just gave 4 stars as it is expensive, however i have yet to use it as air conditioning, its too cold out, which might make it more value for money. Its easy to use and set up, even for me and im not great with tech. Its very warm and the output is higher up to sit in front of, better than a fan heater. Its also space saving as it pops in a corner when not in use and being black is unobtrusive. All in all im glad i bought it.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI would have given 5 start if price was 100 or less. Given 4 start because of the slim design, i did not find another slick and slim design like this. thats pretty much the plus point ends. Becarefull of the price it is much expencive in comparism. I don`t recoment this as primary Fan heater. I use Dyson pure cool and heat.
Alexa compatibility is very limited, only on/off via voice control. another bad side is the temparature control. it will shutdown after reaching the temp but it wont turn on automatically when temp goes down. you have to do it manually. I don`t recomend buying for its functionality.
I didn`t return it only because it looks beautifull and different. to me beuty is the only plus point it has, everything else is very basic due to price.
If they decide to lower the price below 100 then yes definitely go for it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a great cool/fan heater, albeit I haven’t tried the cold setting yet. It’s working well in my garden office and regularly have to turn it off because it gets too warm. It comes with a Home Wizard App, which is easy to install & configure, allowing me to control the fan from the house before I start work as I have a WiFi extender in the garden office. You can connect the fan to Alexa, although you can only switch the fan on/off. To be honest, the Home Wizard App is so easy to use, I don’t bother with Alexa. I’m very pleased with my purchase

Good product on the whole. can be set up so that most functions accessible via Alexa, but manual almost non-existent. Eventually found out you only need a free app to make it work with Alexa, you have to enable and link the Alexa skill to the account you have set up in the app so have your password handy, and in the setup process it will be called a “switch” rather than a fan. Worth it in the end though, it all works very well. Slot in edge of base through which cable is supposed to pass is too narrow and I had to file it to make it larger, as trying to push it into the space was already starting to mark the outside covering of the cable. if you file slot too wide though, cable will flop down every time you move it.

I read all horror reviews about issues pairing to phones but found the iOS setup a breeze. Now got it working with Alexa too.

Great product. Looks a bit like an original Battlestar Galactica Cylon in its chrome and black, but I love the styling. It’s very stylish.

Can work paired with a phone or standalone. The LED control is on the top and a very dimmed low grey/white. Ideal for a bedroom as it’s not obtrusive.

Great range of features. Love the product.

Only gripe I had was with delivery. It was dispatched via DPD who decided to send the package on a small tour of Wales before it was sent to me. So ended up coming a day later than expected.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNot a bad fan in general, you can use Alexa on your phone to turn on and off only but you can use the tower fan app to alter the other settings such as speed and direction. Build quality is ok in general, based is solid bushed aluminium and the top has a wrap of brushed aluminium surrounding the digital display a the top of the fan. The tower itself, where the air blows from is very plastic and the quality here is a little poor at this price band. The fan power could also be better, 3 settings with only 2 and 3 really providing a decent breeze.
So I can only give 4 stars based on using this throughout the summer.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBought this as a bit of an emergency purchase during the heatwave week and boy, was it a relief! It was easy to set up and runs smoothly. It’s pretty quiet as well – louder than something like a Dyson Airblade (but it’s also about 400 cheaper so you’d expect that) but quiet enough to have on at night without disturbing your sleep. Being able to control it from your phone both in the house and from elsewhere is a real bonus, as I wanted to leave it on for our cats when it was really hot, but not necessarily all day. The sleep mode is a nice touch, because you don’t often need it on ALL night. The “natural” setting is a bit odd though – it just sort of does a hard blast, then a soft one, then stops, then a hard blast and so on – we don’t really use that setting! The only downside I would say is that it doesn’t really cool the room as a whole, it just gives you a nice breeze when you sit in front of it, but I guess that’s the difference between a fan and an air conditioner. Would recommend!

It looks very modern and stylish with it’s metal trim and piano black plastic casing. However the finish close up is not as good as you might think. The metal panels are very thin and I had a small dent in one. The plastic was scratched in places and had glue residue. But this wasn’t the main reason I had it replaced. As another reviewer mentioned it made a grinding noise when oscillating that once heard became distracting. The replacement does not do this so far.

Performance wise it’s very good. On the low setting it’s whisper quiet and can easily work quietly next to the TV in the lounge or beside the bed. Even on higher speeds it isn’t overly noisy.

The ‘Smart’ features are a little basic. It’s relatively easy to set up with both Alexa and Google Home via the app but you are limited to asking your assistant to turn on or off. That’s all. So speed and oscillation are not covered. Maybe this will become available in the future.

The app acts as a remote control, it works as described but it’s no match for a proper remote control. Having to wake the phone and open the app just to change the speed is a bit of a chore.

Overall I like the look of the fan and it’s performance is good but it’s not groundbreaking in functions.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI bought this fan for my daughters bedroom and have now bought a second one for my sons room as well.

First of all the fan is very practical, I had previously bought a cheap plastic desk fan, but then found it was very hard to position right to get cool air where you need it. As this is a freestanding tower you don’t have that problem, the design is also very nice and feels really high quality and not at all cheap.

What I particularly like is the different settings, as well as changing the power level you can change the oscillation to sleep or natural which varies the power, seemed to work really well to not disturb the kids and get them off to sleep.

What is different about this fan though is that you can also control it from your smartphone, you just download the homewizard climate app, then follow the setup instructions, I am not at all technical but I got it working with no problems.

This is really handy as I normally put the kids to bed with the fans on, then after a while turn the fans off and I don’t have to move a muscle for a change LOL!

Anyway nice product I would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe fan looks really smart, nice and sleek. Had to download the homewizard climate app and followed the instructions in the app to connect my fan to my WiFi. After the second attempt it worked perfectly and now I can do all from my phone.

I wanted it to work with Alexa so found the skill in the Alexa app and linked this to my fan, now I can tall Alexa to turn the fan on and off.

I am told from the company that further voice commands are ready to go the moment Alexa is updated to accept multi commands in Europe so just waiting for this.

All good so far, it is really quiet and quite powerful. Really works in the bedroom as the noise does not keep me awake and I can set timers.

I like the fact I can operate it manually from the buttons ob the top so I don’t always have to reach for my phone.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersLittle tricky to set up as the instructions are very vague however I went onto the Princess website and sent them a query and they called me within minutes to help me but I had already just managed to connect to my phone 🙂 you need to make sure you have disconnected your phone from the household WiFi before trying to pair with the fan but the instructions don’t say this.
However, once connected the app is great, the fan is also brilliant! Very pleased with the power output, was worried it would be a tiny breeze but it gives out quite a gust! Bought it to keep the cats cool in summer and they are scared of it because it’s that powerful ! Five stars all round !

UPDATE – original review posted June 2019.
We still love the fan and have just bought another direct from Argos as Amazon was out of stock, but we bought the other for the bedroom as our house is ridiculously hot. JUNE 2020. Thanks again guys.
