Cheap and cheerful,does the job well for the price, suits me as only required for camera alignment and didn’t want anything expensive as not needed. My only complaint is you DONT have to hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on, turns on at the slightest touch which is going to cause me a problem one day as I know the battery will be flat when I need it the most, a slide switch would be better.
Due to the changes in camera technology I needed to know quite quickly what the camera resolution is for my job. My old monitor couldn’t see digital signals only analogue,which when upgrading old to new everything is digital.As soon as you plug it in it tells you the resolution and the digital protocol. Light weight easy to use. Perfect to get you out of trouble.
I used this cctv tester for setting up the position of cameras and checking cables which is just what I wanted, the 12 volt feed from the tester to the cameras is handy if the camera hasn’t been connected to it’s permanent power source.
It’s quality and reliability will need to be tested with time.
