The light itself is great for beginners – it provides a soft and natural light that’s perfect for vloggers or small photography projects. I found it easy to set up, and the length of the power cable on the light is just right, with an on/off switch in line.
The tripod stand is not of the best quality. It’s made from cheap metal with plastic adjusters that feel quite flimsy and not very robust. Its worth mentioning that the light when assembled on the stand is quite wobbly. Another thing to keep in mind with the kit is that while the soft box and cable fit in the storage bag, the bag doesn’t fit in the light bulb or tripod.
Overall this kit is a reliable and affordable option for anyone looking for a quick and easy lighting setup. It’s easy to set up and provides consistent lighting.
I got this to provide good lighting for video meetings. Bounced of the ceiling, it does a great job and was easy to assemble. The kit is good for the price – it’s not going to last for ever, especially in a studio setting, but left in place at a meeting workstation it will be fine. Only the light box has a carry case, which means you will either need to keep the carboard box it all comes in or find another case, especially for the bulb which is large and cannot be left in place when the reflector is folded. Overall a good budget purchase.
It’s good light but the screen is very week the light hood is weak but it’s nice one
I ordered these a few months ago and so far am pretty happy with them.
One of the lights arrived broken but support contacted me and sent me a replacement which was a painless process, so I am thankful for their level of support.
They are super easy to set up and use however one negative is that the power cord is way too short so expect to have to use an extension cable with them.
Absolutely happy . I am just learning with lights in photography and with this softbox I am happy with my purchase, already tried and easy to set it up and put back in bags
I bought this product back in 2020 and it has been wonderful for all my filming and photography! However it recently stopped working last month so I informed the company and they sent me a new replacement one straight away. I don’t usually leave reviews but because I love this product and their costumer service was so helpful in providing me a new one, I wanted to show my support and gratitude!
After a few issues with my product, they where able to resolve them very quickly. Top quality customer service. This is a company that really does listen to customers and helps in any way possible.
Bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. The only thing that disappointed me were the Amazon delivery men who said they couldn’t get to the door to deliver it so they took it away. They just couldn’t be bothered cos it was delivered to a farm so was over day late arriving. The equipment is brilliant. The first Amazon delivery man wasn’t.
For a complete technical imbecile like me this was a cinch to put together and get going. Under five minutes. If I can do it, anyone can do it. Quite sturdy, good bright light and for a little over 40 it’s a bargain.

Bought it for a home photoshoot for newborn/occasions. One light is enough to get a nice & crisp photo.so bright & so light and easy to use. I used it on my babyshower/indoor maternity photoshoot and pictures are so nice and bright.so happy with the product.
I’m by no means a professional photographer but wanted to do some home studio shoots and this is perfect. Great price, lightweight, easy to assemble and has really added a professional quality to the photos I have taken.
I received the box but there was a slight fault in the one I received. However, after contacting customer services they had me send a video and then without questioning any further they had sent a new one out within 4 days of me telling them about the issue. Really good customer service and the new one works perfectly and is really bright! Definitely a great company!
This was surprisingly easy to assemble and equally lightweight. Love the small handle bag it comes with. Makes it easier to pack and transport or store.
The bulb is quite bright so it does the job well.
I bought this having researched various camera-techie magazines. This presented an affordable solution to a very basic problem. I don’t want to be a ‘Lord Lichfield’ but do want to be able to make clear images. The kit met and fulfilled my expectations
I teach Yoga Online and bought 2 of these lights to illuminate the set. I think the light looks soft and natural. I am moving around a bit so had to play around with positions of lights to avoid shadows but this was more me than the equipment. The leads weren’t as long as I needed so I used extensions leads. Good price, good product, easy to use would recommend it.

If you can afford to go straight to strobe lighting I would definitely recommend that, but this is a great alternative if not. The light isn’t very strong but the softbox and stand are very sturdy and it all packs away for easy storage
Massively improved lighting for self tapes, head shots and video calls etc. Easy to use, assemble and store. My only problem was that it can tip over quite easily, so I had to prop it against a chair for safety while photographing children.
I have 3 of these and I find them very good for lighting up a subject in front of a backdrop. I either use all of them in a one in front and one by each side and the lighting is fab, I have a ring light but I don’t need to use it if I’m using all 3 lights. Always reliable and good height to them too, I would certainly recommend them as for the cost they are a good staple bit of kit for video and photography.
Very good. Value for money and great fur my live streams. Base is a little wide and light so I knocked off a star but really dies what it needs to.
I was after a softbox to help with lighting during the dreary winter months, and was recommended this by a couple of friends. It’s so easy to set up, a few minutes to extend/screw everything together and you’re good to go and for the cost is a fantastic light. The only downside I have is that the power lead is quite short so I need to use an extension lead to get it to where I want it, but that’s not a major issue.
For this price-point you really can’t complain. Just what I needed for a basic studio light for some home filming. Might not stand up to long-term rough location use, but if that’s what you need I doubt you’re reading this. Came nicely packaged and has a nice zip storage bag to pack it away. Build quality is good, and doesn’t feel rickety. Overall for the price, the value here is excellent and if you need a simple basic studio light – look no further.
Customer service – A piece of the product was damaged. The team replaced the entire unit. They were very helpful and really polite.
Product – It works brilliantly! I teach martial arts for a living and due to isolation I’m currently teaching from my living room. It wasn’t too bad last isolation because there was a lot of natural light due to it being summer months.
This light is so good that I switch all other lights off because of how good this light is and my students can see me perfectly. Many have remarked how much easier classes have become.

This was my first softbox light I have bought. I was a little apprehensive at first whether it would work and whether the colour clashes too much with my room lights, which are on the warmer side.
The light was really easy to set up. It is nice and bright, flexible, and best part is that it doesn’t clash with my room lights. Excellent product for those looking for decent lighting for their photos or videos!
I use this for lighting items when taking photos for my website. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble and adjust, gives a soft light (the clue is in the name) which can be diffused further with the cloth cover and it stores neatly into it’s bag for storage when not in use. The company has excellent after sales service so I’d be very happy to recommend and will buy from the company again. There was a free gift to choose and I wasn’t really expecting it to turn up but it did and was a good quality piece of kit too! Highly recommended.
I was between ring light and softbox and decided to go for softbox. The kit arrived well packed and the light bulb was in perfect condition as well. Assembly was straight forward and the light is very bright – exactly what I had been looking for. Another good point is that it came in carry bag if I ever need to take it with me.

I shoot fitness tutorials and my camera is not as great with lower light conditions meaning I was constantly getting grainy videos even on the best low light settings on my camera. Bought this light in an attempt to solve the issues and I am very happy with it. The bulb is very bright and I love the soft look this light creates. Extremely easy to assemble and it even comes with a bag to carry it around or pack when not needed.

We got this as my partner loves to get a decent photo but the lighting in our rooms is just terrible, this honestly makes a huge difference.
I mean it’s no professional kit but it really enhances the photos you take when angled well.
It’s super simple to put together, nice and light and has a nice Carey case for it you were on the road with it!
Only slight annoying thing is the power lead is a little short but nothing an extension cannot fix.
After it arriving I decided to open the box instantly and I was impressed at how tidy it was in the box, and the light, tripod,etc all folds down to go into one bag so makes it very easy to carry to different locations.
The build quality is excellent, everything seems to be made of good strong material & it it don’t look unstable or cheap, my only downside and this is my opinion only, I need 2 so that it works as left and right when i m needing a fully lit subject with no shadows but other than that I’m very happy with i
We are professional photographers who are starting to get more and more into videography. The continuous lighting arena is a very crowded space with lots of options and equally wide price point. I recently got asked to record Some interviews for a client and needed some basic mains powered lighting to illuminate my subjects
I found this product on Amazon, read the reviews and decided to give them a go. The package arrived quickly and was easy to unbox and assemble the lights. To be honest I had them up and running in less than 10 minutes
Although the two lights do not feel bullet-proof , They are well-made for a product in this price point. The light is consistent and when diffused through the included soft boxes gives a lovely even illumination to the subject. I have used other kinds of continuous lighting in the past But my subjects often appeared to be blinded.
I would definitely recommend these lights for a basic to light set up for videography and you could also use these for stills photography. I liked the inclusion of a carry bag which packs down the kit quite nicely and makes it easy to transport to shoots
Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and look forward to trying more products in this range

Now I don’t know if this kit is at a professional level or not, I don’t consider myself a professional in the field, I just limit myself to pick up hardware components and review them, but I can say that for my purpose the kit is perfect!
