As an avid gamer, I spend long hours sitting in front of my computer, and I have always struggled with finding the perfect gaming chair. But my search is finally over with the Razer Iskur! This premium gaming chair is the ultimate solution for anyone looking for comfort, durability, and style all in one.
The integrated lumbar support is a game-changer, providing excellent back support and reducing any discomfort or strain that I used to feel during long gaming sessions. The chair’s adjustable armrests also come in handy, providing great flexibility to fit my arms comfortably.
The build quality of the Razer Iskur is impressive, with sturdy materials used throughout the chair. It has a steel-reinforced body, so I don’t have to worry about it breaking or losing its shape over time. The stitching is top-notch, and the synthetic leather material used in the chair’s construction is both durable and easy to clean.
The chair’s design is sleek and modern, fitting well into any gaming setup. The Razer logo at the back adds a touch of elegance, making it stand out from other gaming chairs in the market. Assembly was a breeze, and the included instructions made it easy to set up on my own.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase of the Razer Iskur. It has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect gaming chair. If you want to invest in your gaming setup, this is definitely the chair to get!
Afrer years of sub par chairs this one meet all expectations
This chair has amazing back support and it’s really heavy and sturdy. I use it to work from home, only thing is, the seat is firm and after 4/5 hours was causing pain so i bought a cushion for it and now it’s perfect. I just think they should’ve made the seat softer.
After I finished assembly, I thought this is the one. Shame turned out it wasn’t. The lumbar is amazing and the look is great but, the seat is stiff and I have to constantly reposition to make myself comfortable, the lumbar pushes you off the chair and, the chair in swinging position is leaning forward giving you the feeling you’ll slide off – and if you adjust the lean position, it just becomes fixed without a swing.
The chair is really good the main highlight for this chair is definitely the aggressive lumber support probably the best on the market for the lumber, there are a few cons of this chair though the sides of the chair are very high for some reason it’s hard to sit cross legged on the chair. It’s a very heavy chair could not roll around in the chair on laminated flooring, head rest can’t get any lower since the strap cannot extend out to go around tree wide sport like seat, for the money I and disappoint the chair cannot got 180 degrees down it is a very big let down to be honest, comfort of the chair is great however and it is very sturdy packaging is amazing happy I got it on offer for 380 would prefer not to pay more than 300 for it though
Slipped a disk when i was younger & i suffer from permenent nerve damage.
I had a cheap chair before and after hours of gaming i would be crippled!
Decided to invest in this beauty and guess what my back problems are no where near as painful when gaming for many hrs.
Anyone like me with a back of a 80yr old but a mind of a 20yr old this chair is 4 u
you can sit for hours without pain in the back bu far the best chair.. if you can afford it, it’s not gonna let you down. i choose this chair cause i don’t like the leather.
The chair has everything it said and the value was spot on.
The only drawback is the box and chair are huge. And will require 2 people to lift due to the sheer weight of it.
A perfect pick after looking at many chairs. The lumbar support is perfect and the adjustable headrest is spot on for your neck and head.
The quality is amazing and looks perfect in my sons bedroom. He is a gamer and suffers with back problems. This chair has stopped him suffering when sat gaming so would highly recommend this chair to all.
I couldn’t recommend this chair more. Great quality as always from Raze
Overall the chair looks great and level of comfort is far beyond any desk chair I used so far. I am not a gamer, but work at a PC for 10+ hours daily and the lumbar support was always an issue, could nevwr get right and fighting with pillows that always move will be no more, this built in lumbar support is absolutely amazing. I was suprised that straight out of the box before I even began assembly I found scratches and marks which clearly indicate someone already uswd it or at least attempted assembly. This was not a “Used” item I purchased, so be wary in case you are buying for gift or just yourself and want a brand new product. I decided to keep mine in the end, despite the scratches. It’s 30kg chair so hassle to send back!
Well that was an experience..
First one that arrived was the wrong size (ordered the standard, but Amazon sent the XL – some notes on the bigger size to follow.). I didn’t realise until after I had built it! Amazon sorted that mess very quickly, so thumbs up to them. They even sent the replacement FOC before getting the wrong one back.
Product itself is pretty easy to assemble, but maybe that’s because I had to assemble/disassemble more than once! Packaging, components, and instructions are all clear.
Worth pointing out that I use it 10hrs a day for gone office, and then for gaming twice a week for 3 hours at a time.
Rather than sharing wordy opinions, I’ll just share key points…
Pros
– it’s robust and feels solid
– quality is excellent, although I did see some poor stitching on the pillow. No big deal
– 4d armrests are great
– charcoal looks much better than the green/black
– lumbar support is excellent
– seating area is very firm, which I personally like.
Cons
– it’s heavy. Pulling it in towards the desk takes a little effort on carpet (more so, the XL.. it’s ridiculous to move)
– the fabric is hard wearing (yay!) but some may find the fabric a little coarse compared to leather. More preference than a true con.
That’s it really. Worth noting the XL is 10% bigger across all dimensions. Not sure that’s so well displayed anywhere.
All in all, extremely pleased. A firm, good quality chair is what I was after and what I received.
I needed a chair to work on 3d arts and it requires to bend on the desk to sculpt on the graphic tablet. Chair is very heavy, 30kg, back support is nice, materials are okay.
Bad thing is the handles, they’re a bit wobbly, but maybe I mounted it wrong
I suggest also to get the XL one if you want to stay in more positions, sitting space has a weird shape to keep you straight, which is not a bad thing on the long term
I have always bought chairs around the 100 mark as I always felt spending more was a waste of money – I mean, how much difference could there really be? A chair is a chair right?
Wrong!
The last chair I bought just about lasted a year before it collapsed on me (sending me sprawling on the floor) That chair was the most I had ever spent on a chair too (135). So I was looking for another chair and my other half suggested I look at this one. Well I almost passed out at the price – (299 at the time of purchase) but I slowly came round to the idea of spending that much if the quality and longevity of the chair would warrant it. So I finally bit the bullet and I am so glad I did.
Unboxing it wasn’t a case of all the components just thrown into large box, thought and care had obviously gone into the packaging. Everything was encased in foam to hold it in place and prevent any kind of damage.
While assembling the chair I could feel the difference in the quality of the materials and the build quality of the parts already assembled. even the provided tools used for assembly were of a good quality.
I am quite a big guy – 6′ 2″ and 200lb and after reading some of the reviews for this chair I was a little concerned that the chair would be tight or uncomfortable for my bulk but as soon as i sat in it I realised it was the perfect size. The head rest is exactly where it should be (shorter people might have a little trouble as the shape of the back of the chair does not allow the head rest to move down much further) the seat cradles me perfectly, I can feel the sides of the chair but I dont feel squashed or in any way cramped. The 4D arm rests feel solid and are adjustable in more ways than I have ever experienced. Not forgetting of course the biggest selling point of the chair – the lumbar support is sublime. Even with it set in its lowest position I can feel my back being supported and unlike a cushion, which more often than not provides an uncomfortable amount of support, the built in adjustment of the lumbar area makes it so easy to find the precise amount of support you require.
With a 3 year warranty I can safely say that the extra up front expense on this chair will save me money in the long run – a chair a year at 100+ each or this chair guaranteed for 3 years but in all honesty I have a feeling that this chair will last much longer than that.
Without doubt the best chair I have ever owned.
Since working from home and using a borrowed office chair, my back started hurting. Changed bed. Didn’t help. Spent a lot of money on this chair and now back is fine again. Kind of forces you not to slouch, lumbar support is the best I’ve ever experienced and head rest is really comfy. I was looking at the secretlab titan and others but their 2020 models have issues with arm rests splitting… however the ones on this Razer Iskur feel bulletproof. Definitely worthy investment….
Love the chair and the lumbar support but my god it’s annoying if you move at all. The lumber support does nothing but squeak no matter where you have it set so can be really irritating when I am either in a meeting or if I am gaming a good chair but is a flawed design.
Not sure that it’s worth the full price but got it at half the price of a secret labs chair and I can’t see them be any better than this one. Reasonable easy to assemble but make sure that the lumbar controls go through the back of the chair so they can be placed in the clamp on the underside, otherwise you could finder yourself at a the point of no return in the construction with the covers preventing you from disassembling.
But once assembled great support, lots of flexibility and comfortable with good build quality. And low enough for a shorter person, I’m 5’75 and it seems perfect fitted for me.
I simply love it…I was afraid that it will be to small for me (1.80m and 98kg), but it`s perfect and my back is really happy with the ergonomic lumbar support system. I can bet it`s the best price for something premium! Go for it….!
I’m bought this chair for my son as he spends a lot of time at his pc both studying and gaming. He loves it . It didn’t take long to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. Its well made and very comfortable
When the pandemic started and I knew I would be working from home, I immediately upgraded to a gaming chair with a cushion that acted lumbar support. It did its job but I would still occasionally have lower back pain. But when the Iskur came out afterwards, I thought I would give a go after reading some many positive reviews about it and I already own many Razer equipment.
So a year after I got the gaming chair, I bought the Iskur and my first thought was: Why did I not buy this earlier? The built-in lumbar support is exceptional. You can adjust it outward in a way that, if you don’t sit properly, you will not have enough space to sit. Basically, the chair will almost force you to sit properly and support your lower back in a better way than cheaper gaming chairs do. Some people might find the faux-leather a bit rigid, but it is absolutely fine for me (there is a tissue version now available but not when I ordered mine). This chair may be a bit expensive in absolute value, but there are many chairs I used before (at work) that cost 2-3 times more but do not provide the same level of comfort and back support. the Iskur’s built-in lumbar support by itself justifies the price.
I already bought another Iskur for my sister as an “advanced Christmas gift” because I believe that we never invest enough in our back. If there are two things I recommened putting in the money when you can and not holding back, it is the mattress you sleep in and the chair you will spend the day on.
Dear Designer of Razer Iskur Gaming Chair. Here is my take on this chair:
Concept: Excellent concept of chair. Very comfortable and snug shape for BOTH Gaming and Computer Work.
Firmness: Excellent, very supportive and hard but friendly firmness, as it should be.
Seat Cushion: I am of 171cm height and average weight.
When I adjust the Lumbar Support to fit me, the seat cushion needs to be about 7cm (3 inches) longer in order to support the back of the knees very well.
Bear in mind as you deploy the lumbar adjustment, it projects the back cushion forwards. This eats up the length of cushion you sit on. Consequently one sits more forward towards the front edge, leaving back of knees unsupported.
If you do not deploy the lumbar adjustment , the cushion length to sit on is just ideal.
Quality: Shame!! Warranty is only 3 years for such a sturdy tank-like chair. Razer should have more faith and confidence in their product. A warranty of at least 5 years would have been more deserving to dignify such a phenomenally built strong chair.
Price: OUCH!! But please do not compromise on quality to bring the price down. I know I am having my cake and eating it here. At such a high price, Razer ought to have included a proper full Head and Neck pillow for support which they sell separately for 39, a bit mean, I think!
The supplied tiny “neck” cushion needs a longer elastic strap to slide further down the back of chair. It needs to fit over the wider area of back of chair, instead of just on the pointed part of the backrest.
The neck cushion touches the head, whereas it would be more useful slightly lowered, as neck support.
Packaging: Very elaborate. If your engineers have designed it, then I can’t argue.
Overall impression: You don’t have to have a bad back as an excuse to buy this chair. I am glad Amazon put it on their platform just when I was ready to replace my previous chair.
Great build quality very comfortable! the lumbar support is a game-changer, you can tell they put a lot of thought into how to assemble, much better than previous guides I’ve used and the hand tool is a nice touch.
Completed my Razer setup!
I’ve had a few gaming chairs over the years and I was looking for something with good all round support and comfort. I’ve read a lot of reviews for the best gamer chairs and this is usually in the top 5 depending on which reviews you read.
After unpacking everything it wasn’t hard to put together and it looks great. It’s incredibly comfortable and the integrated lumbar support is exactly what I wanted. The chair feels like it moulds around you, again what I like.
I’m very happy with the chair and would recommend it over Noble or SecretLab chairs any day.
Having had a few gaming chairs over the years, I was not sure about the fixed lumbar support as I normally throw the lumber cussions aside. However after a few days, getting used to the Razer, getting the settings and adjustments more to your liking, the lumbar support is excellent, and very much a part of the chair as oppose to an addition. You can sit forward and still feel supported, you can kick back and your whole back is supported. It is more on the comfy but firm side of the spectrum, but for gaming that is a preference for me. Overall as many have said it’s expensive, but it’s built like a tank and therefore I anticipate it lasting years to come.
Having tried numerous gaming chairs, I can say that I am very pleased with this chair. I bought it mainly to match the rest of my setup being that everything I own is Razer branded but I was pleasantly surprised to find out just how comfortable this chair truly is. Sitting on it for the first time gives you a great sense of comfort.
Furthermore, the comfort is matched with the beautiful aesthetic and build quality. The green stitching also matches the Sneki cushion and plushie which is a nice bonus since razer is pretty consistent with their colours.
As I’m 6’2 I found it difficult to find chairs for work that can accommodate my height and also provide comfort and support.
I took a gamble on this chair after reading reviews that said its not tall people and some saying it was. This is absolutely fine if you’re my height + similar build (slim), I can effectively use the headrest and I don’t feel it’s small. I would say, however, if you’re taller and larger then you might struggle. The seat + backrest are fairly narrow and sporty, it hugs you in position.
The Iskur screams quality and the metal frame is very strong to support heavy weights. It is firm and focuses on posture/back support so this might not be to everyone’s liking. I often get bad backs from soft chairs, so the firmness + the lumbar support this chair offers is great for me.
The lumbar support is probably best on the market currently, I haven’t seen another chair that offers this kind of tech/mechanism. I often use it when spending long hours at the work desk and don’t feel any aches or pains.
Do remember that you shouldn’t spend hours In a chair anyway, so no matter what chair you have, you’ll always feel an ache at some point – our bodies aren’t designed for it!
It terms of space requirements, I would say it doesn’t take too much room in the house. It’s sporty and compact and wheel base is actually fairly small. It does stand out in it’s looks but it gives off a ‘smart gamer’ vibe rather than the rgb, neon colour trash that seems to be popular.
I recommend two people to assemble, it’s heavy and it’s much easier when you to join the backrest to the seat. Assemble time with two people takes 15-20mins.
The big downside is the price, it’s very expensive. Perhaps overpriced. But for me, It ticks my requirement boxes and there’s nothing on the market (that I’ve seen) that offers the lumbar support this chair does.
My daughter assembled this for my birthday present and she found it easy. The packaging ensures safe delivery and following the assembly instructions is straightforward with the tools supplied.
I sit in it all day and evenings and find the lumbar/back support to be perfect especially as included is a diagrammatic help sheet for using the lumbar support system and sitting properly (I tend to lean forward when gaming but this allows a much more comfortable playing position).
Without doubt this is the best gaming chair and is clearly very well made. I suspect it could outlast me.
A great chair and fairly easy to assemble (managed to do it by myself in less than 20 minutes so can guarantee anyone else can!).
Very comfortable and with the use of the lumber support, it’s easy to adjust to whatever your doing.
Only thing I would add – it may have been just my item, but the first time you use the lumber support you have to make sure you have at least 8mm gap on the cable and then give it a really (really) hard pull of the handle. Initially thought it was broken as nothing was happening, but after fiddling with the lever and doing the above it eventually started working!
