I hate XBOX ELITE CONTROLLER 1 & 2!…RAZER WOLVERINE V2 IS MUCH BETTER!… CHEAPER TOO… & THERE R EXTRA BUMPER BUTTONS TO ADJUST THE SENSITIVITY OF THE THUMBSTICKS!… SO ITS EASY TO MOVE JUST A LITTLE BIT!.
Its far superior to any standard xbox controller I have used, and the same price ( ok it has a cable but thats still great value , one with bluetooth cost additional 50 which is very very expensive for what it is )
Not sure why some others find this controller to be anything other than excellent. Build is great and it functions perfectly. Maybe a tad pricey but look around, even the most basic Xbox branded controllers are in the 70+ range.
Great controller. A little bit awkward to learn the extra buttons however I love the mouse click buttons & the trigger stops.
I bought this to use on my windows 11 pc. It’s really well constructed and feels nice in hand. The controls are responsive and overall it’s great, it is a little pricy for a wired controller in my opinion but I got it for 60 quid on sale. I wish it was usb c and wireless but these don’t seem to be on the market yet as consoles are lagging behind. 4* because it is a bit expensive otherwise a 5* produc
Where do i start? This controller is simply one of the best i have ever used in all of my 14 years of gaming. Its easy to setup with been able to switch from fps to fighting mode to many more different modes controlled through the razer app on your xbox. The buttons are so so so so so so simple to map its insane. I play rainbow six siege so having those two re map button’s are a dream. U can also chnage a setting to push the lt and rt triggers half way down instead of all the way which makes me win nearly every gun fight. The rubber textured grip is lovely not cheap or horrible feeling like most controllers . I feel like kim jon un could nuke this controller and it would still hold up.
All in all perfect even more perfect if its on sale.
Would i pay full price absolutely yes i would.
Would i liked RGB yes of course but i paid 64.99 and im definitely getting my moneys worth.
Razer you did it again im buzzing thank you so much
For the longest time, I have been using the xbox elite controller V1. However I tire of the batteries depleting mid fight. As i sit in front of my PC it seemed pointless to have a wireless controller. The microswitch buttons are what make this special. Every button has a positive and instantaneous feel to it. The trigger throw can be shortened much like the elite. One minor downside is that the white LED is faaaaar too bright for a darkened room. I have stuck some blacktack over it. Problem solved. At about 60 quid this was a bargain vs elite controller @ 150.
Bought this item due to being messed around with an order from Microsoft. Excellent product altogether and much more better quality and design than original manufacturer product. Would highly recommend. Item arrived on time from seller who were excellent. 5 stars all round.
Mainly bought the controller to play Rocket League and I must say it met all my expectations. The controller features clicky buttons, however, they still feel a bit mushy. It does feel strange at first but gets better as you get used to them. Hopefully, the controller lasts for a while.
After owning and returning 3 elite controllers (2 ver 1 and 1 ver 2) i decided to go for this, I’ve been gaming for 40 years and this is without doubt the best controller I have ever used, very highly recommended!
I have used Razer controllers for the past three years I normally buy 1 new one every year and they get heavy usage and always perform unlike when I have to buy on average three controllers of other types to cover the same period of time before they start to fail.
Bought in December 2021, the version I got doesn’t present the defect pointed from other reviews of locked triggers if RB or LB are pressed after. It feels solid, sturdy and comfortable enough on your hands. Sharp buttons response. This controller is a little bit pricey, but for a good reason: each of a single button is in fact a switch and not a rubber dome (and cheap) contact like in the consoles like controllers. This means it will last longer. On the other hand the presence of switches will make it a bit noisy. Especially while playing old games with tank control system I have to say I got used to it so for me it’s not a big deal any more.
Four stars just because the “View” button and “Menu” button are placed stupidly too far to be easly reached with the thumbs.
Good controller plays well have good response no controller drift but it feels bad to hold it’s given me bad wrists and thumbs playing with it but it is such a good control shame about the ergonomics of back button placements
Great controller for around 7 month and then nothing, just decided it didn’t want to work no more
The controller itself is a little larger than a regular xbox series x controller which I like.
The clicking from the tactile buttons feels great
Paddles somewhat hard to get used to but when you do there amazing
Light, cool, responsive, wired so no need to keep changing battery’s, grip is amazing! (Little tip but the black one, the white one ends up filthy regardless of how clean your hands are.. white one looks cooler but my next pad will be the black one)
The best controller I have ever used, every button feels like your using proper tactile switches like cherries on keyboard but instead it’s on the controller. The grip is perfect and shape is perfect. Works flawless in games 10/10 was worth it over the default controller. Even small details like the thumb sticks have grippier and higher quality design and material. Feels sturdy too doesn’t feel cheap at all anywhere.
I have used the Elite S1 (x3), Elite S2 (x4), Scuf (x2) and Razer Wolverine Ultimate. The Razer was hands down the best of them. After I I dropped the Razer, breaking the bumper it was time to upgrade to this Razer Wolverine Chroma. And it manages to stay as familiar as the older one, while having excellent improvements. Feels better in your hand, the D-Pad is a huge improvement, and everything that was already excellent stays so.
Recommend to anyone as being massively better than any other paddle controller on the marke
In the past, I always bought only original xbox controllers. In all of them, without exceptions, the usb port got damaged and stopped working after a few months of use. Yes, you can still use them “wireless(ish)”, but you will have a significant lag. So, in the end, tired of wasting money on controllers with a doomed usb port, after having tried a couple of cheaper, poor “wired” options and having sent them straight back, I decided to try this one. And finally, I am perfectly happy. It feels like an original xbox controller, but it is much better, because it is wired (the cable cannot be detached, which is good), which means that I do not have to worry about the tiny teeth of the usb port getting damaged, since there aren’t any.
It comes in a posh packaging and has got a long cable.
My husband loved this controller and said was amazing for gaming sadly after couple days it just stopped working at wouldn’t even contact but after contact with amazon got new one sent out which arrived so quickly fingers crossed this last longe
This is my 3rd controller after starting gaming (ESO) at 59yrs old, (2yrs PS1&2 in my 30’s). 1st-Logitech, upgraded to MS due to re overwhelming reviews and after returning 2 controllers due to faults I saw a review of this. It’s a sensational improvement on previous ones and superbly designed & built. Seriously, I can genuinely state that since connecting this controller my gaming improved, my characters died less and took longer to die, less lag, i.e. reaction times were faster from trigger/button activation to screen impact, and it’s easier to use, better grip with convenient button layout. This is the most comprehensive review I’ve ever written but I felt compelled to share the details because the product warrants it. Don’t even think about a wire as being less convenient than wireless, I no longer have to repeatedly charge batteries and it’s always on. Unless the MS Elite is a fundamentally better device I can’t see me changing this or looking beyond the Razer brand.
I’ve had this controller for a while now, it’s one of the nicest I’ve had I think I’ve had it for over 6 months and it’s great, I’ve had no problems with it and I do recommend getting it, I may end up updating this if I can when it breaks! Only think is it doesn’t look as nice as the other controllers you can get but it’s definitely worth the money.
