Really easy to get out and put away and super sturdy I am heavy set and no issues
Excellent camp bed. I bought the mattress to go with the bed. I’m 6 foot 2 inches tall and 15 stone and have had quite a few comfortable nights sleep on the bed.
Bought this based on the reviews of others and was not disappointed.
Its big and sturdy, stands up to a bit of tossing and turning and is fairly comfortable. Definitely gets my vote.
No for the backpacker and I wouldn’t fancy carrying it from the carpark to the tent area at a festival, it is a bit heavy.
Bought this for a temporary bed for my son when he came to stay, have used fold up beds in the past but always found them hard to store. This is so quick and easy to pack up and just pop into a cupboard. Must say I’m well impressed and don’t know why I never bought one before.
This is easily the best camp bed I have ever had. Very easy and quick to open and close. And the material is very strong. 10/10
Nice sturdy camp bed, comfy enough that I bought a second one
Really comfortable, and solidly built. It’s a couple inches longer than a standard camp bed, that combined with the slight rise of head end makes a real difference to getting a good night’s sleep.
Bought this for my son’s flat. ( Better than sleeping on the sofa. ) I’m told it is sturdy and comfortable providing you have a sleeping bag or duvet to lie on. When folded it doesn’t take up much room so easy to store
I used this to camp in my house for a few weeks while I painted and decorated. I confidently sat on this to put socks on (it didn’t break, or fold up on me). After a couple of weeks, I added an inflatable lilo, which the bed accommodated comfortably, but that was just my personal preference. Looking forward to using this on my next camping road trip.
Me and my partner are new to camping and first couple trips used an airbed which gave us bad backs.
We got two of these and they are honestly fantastic.
Comfy but we bought a very thick quilt for added comfort.
I’m a larger lady and honestly thought it’d be rubbish but it held my weight no problem.
Only con is it can be a bit stiff when folding back up but nothing too major.
I was a bit worried it wouldn’t be comfortable but I was definitely wrong. I found it really easy to sleep on with my back or lying on my side. Super comfy and the side pocket was a convenient place to keep my things like phone, charger, ear plugs and eye mask.
Pulled it out of my tent in the morning to lie in the sun
Would definitely recommend.
I’m a bigger girl as well and it was super sturdy.
After searching and trying various sleeping set ups for camping sleeping. This is by far the best. Absolute dream of a sleep. An holds my weight easy(20stone +) Extremely sturdy. Really comfortable nights sleep on it too. Super simple set up and easy to pack away. Couldn’t recommend more . Zero downsides
It’s stiff fabric so doesn’t fold easily. It’s long enough for 6ft+ person and wide enough not to catch your elbows on the frame. I’ve put on a picture of a plastic thingy that doesn’t seem to fit anywhere and was loose in the box. Any ideas please
I bought this to replace an airbed, it folds up nicely and is easy, setup is easy also, as I use it in my Van it doesn’t take too much space.
On a comfort level I’m giving it less as I personally find it very hard on the hips, even with the recommended additional cover which I bought, I have to take other things to soften it, all in all though, good quality
Originally bought this during lockdown – as there were no sun loungers available. Due to the construction you can sit anywhere on it and it doesn’t tip up. As I couldnt get a cushion I used it without- and it’s so comfy you don’t need one. Folds away really easily and opens out within seconds. It doesnt have adjustable positioning – just flat, but its design is such thats its amazingly comfy. Its been used alot and is still like brand new. One of my best purchases ever.
It’s amazingly simple and easy to fold and unfold, is very strong but needs a mattress to be comfortable. To be as sturdy as it is the canvas is stretched very tight making a hard bed. It would be good if sales pitch mentions mattress recommended. Or does it and I missed it?
Very quick and easy to setup and put away, less than 30 secs to do both. This is my first bed of its kind so unable to compare comfort, but I have had several good nights sleep on the bed, I think the added padding of the sleeping bag helps a little though
I’m nearly 6 foot and weigh around 100kg and have used this about 5 nights now and it’s holding up great. No signs of wear or weakening. First time folding can be difficult but I find it gets easier over time. Sturdy and well made. Carry bag is handy.
Good points: well thought out design, length/width good, easy to transport, set up and pack away. Sturdy if you remind kids not to sit on the unsupported ends.
Bad points: The carry bag is ripping already and its very uncomfortable to sleep on even with roll mat.
I was glad to be off the ground during rainfall but my back was very painful by the end of our 3 night trip. Generally I would recommend it, but it does depend what your using it for and how many nights you’d be sleeping on it.
Bought this to go to a festival after many uncomfortable nights on a blow up bed. This is super handy as it comes in a back you can carry over your shoulder and isn’t at all heavy.
The bed is so easy to set up and is very sturdy. It’s wider than the usual camp bed which is great as you don’t end up laying on the bars in the middle of the night. In my eyes this really is worth the money!
This is really easy to put up and fold down, packs tidily into its carry bag so is easy to store in the hall cupboard or garage. We have not however found it that comfortable. I, an older lady, found it very hard to sleep on. I folded a double synthetic duvet in 3 to make a mattress which helped a bit but I still wouldn’t want to have to sleep on it a few nights in a row. A visitor in her late 40’s coped better with the hard surface but found it unsuitable for a side sleeper. Despite being a bit wider than normal camp beds she still ended up with knees and hips on the side tubing. The second night she gave up, put my homemade mattress on the floor and slept on that. I’ve got a child coming to stay soon so hope it will turn out to be OK for her. It’s certainly very stable so I have no worries about it tipping up like the old camp beds used to.
Highly recommended, and especially suitable for larger people.
Bed is great; good and sturdy if not a little uncomfortable for me. I have a thin 2’6″ mattress which fits it perfectly and led me to one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in years. Very good solid produc
Good sturdy material and quite comfy although I haven’t slept a full night on it. Slightly larger in width to a cozy vibe bed I bought but of equivalent quality. It also cost about 20 more so not such good value. Both beds a bit ‘sticky’ when putting them up and down but that may improve the more they are used.
After many, many purchases for similar temp beds, etc, this is the only one were the material hasn’t ripped (hence, rendering the bed unusable!).
There is a slight issue though, one that I resolved for 5 with a pair of ratchet straps. There are two straps attached to parts of the bed that don’t work well enough to constrain my weight after some uses. Using the straps fixed this issue.
There are cheaper versions of this bed, and they don’t work!
Have noticed over time, that some parts of the plastic joints are out of shape, but the bed is holding up.
Overall, some improvements need to be made on the frame. The material is very strong and hasn’t torn.
Absolutely needs some other duvet or mattress on top as some parts of the frame sides with joints can get in the way.
Have also noticed that moisture tends to collect on the material when used overnight in some conditions. Not sure of that is down to the coating on the material or conditions specific to my use, and this happens when I’m wrapped in a waterproof sleeping bag.
Been difficult to write this review as the bed works great in some parts, but needs improvements in other areas.
For a smaller person, this bed maybe ideal.
I used this as a temporary bed following a move where I was waiting for my new bed. It was bigger and heavier than I would expect from a camping bed -it certainly is not suitable for trekking but more like a spare bed for camping if driving. For storage it also take up more space than expected, but then it is a bed, for a grown up person, so what did I expect… At first I was not sure how to unfold it, as the bottom and top kept bending upwards, but after giving it a harder push downward the bottom part became more straight. On the site it does advertise for a mattress and I must say this would be required, as despite two thick blankets and duvet i could still feel the hardness of the bed. I also needed to get used to the width as really not the wide, but it is a single person’s camping bed, not a single bed. I have kept my bed as I want to use it in the summer on the balcony. Some sun rays siesta. So not all wasted, and a spare bed for guests. I can recommend it.
Lovely camp bed which I am using as a sunbed primarily because it folds up very small and easily into a carry bag.
I am using a foam sun bed cushion and beach towels but it would be equally comfortable with a camp bed mattress and sleeping bag.
If you only have a small garden and want to sunbathe then I would highly recommend this as it literally takes seconds to put up and take down and only takes up a small area to store.
Likewise if you are camping it is easy to carry on your shoulder, takes up very little room, is incredibly stable and goes up and down in seconds.
1. Sturdy – It is very sturdily made, and feels very secure when you lie on it. But this means it’s a little heavy – you can’t have both ways unless you pay a fortune for specialist alloys. The canvas top feels substantial and stretches tightly over the frame when opened out.
2. Easy – to put up and take down, but it does take a little strength to do it. Might be easier after it’s been used a few times.
3. Packs away into it’s own supplied bag. Bag itself is pretty strong.
But I haven’t tried spending a night sleeping on it, but it feels quite comfortable so I can’t see any reason not to recommend it for this purpose. It would be really useful as a spare bed and it does pack away into quite a small bag.
