Coat is as described, length is just right for me.
Lovely coat although as others have said it’s best to size up especially if you want to add another thick layer in colder climates. I would certainly recommend this Regatta coat and if the white one comes back in stock May also buy this as well. Great price due to reduction.
My teenager finally liked a coat I bought ! It fits her well a little snug but other than that it is light weight enough to carry at school but nice and warm for her to wear and it was a good price so job well done

3/4 length keeps you warm and it is so comfy.

A good jacket for flat chests and big hips. Being a size 10/12 I ordered the 12 and had to return it due to it tight around the chest. I didn’t order the 14 as it would’ve been too wide around the hips.
I was impressed with the quality it is so warm the size is good had next size so I could wear a jumper and the colour was lovely not too bright value for money and the length is nice too would reccomend

The pockets are thin and won’t last very long .

This is a really nice coat; it looks a bit thinner than some but is still lovely and warm, and seems to be shower proof as promised.
My only criticism is that it comes up a little small. I have 3 other Regatta coats (a waterproof, a gilet, and the old winter coat I bought this to replace), all in size 10, but in this case the 10 was too tight to fit a jumper underneath, so I had to send it back and order a 12.

Having zippered pockets helps a lot.

This is a slim fitting yet padded coat that has decent length.
The coat is warm, and has a good sized hood, with a synthetic fur trim.
The zip runs full length and works both ways so you can open from the bottom while the upper part remains closed.
Regatta is reasonably well known brand, and this coat is well presented with good finishing and construction.
In conclusion the coat has a narrow style, I think sizing is probably accurate – but this isn’t helpful unless you factor in what you are wearing which for winter wear means you should size up.
The first impression was a decent coat. It arrived shrink wrapped which is not the best way to retain the loft in the insulation but it seems to have regained its bulk OK and will be a good for chilly winter walks but not maybe the worst of weather. The fact that it did plump up OK from shrink wrapping means it should be OK if packed in a case or backpack.
The coat seems OK for overall quality and size although a little on the neat side. The only reason to drop a star is the zip. It looks to be a good chunky zip but added to the awkwardness of all long zipped coats of having the bend down to get to the bottom of the zip and in doing do creasing up the coat making it hard to zip up is the fact that this zip will not run smoothly. Even with the coat hanging straight on my wife and me zipping it up the zip was catching every few inches. Hopefully it will get better with wear and we will try the old trick of rubbing it with candle wax but it really should be better than it is.
