I use this jacket to go to work when the time is cold in the winter. It keeps me very warm
This coat arrived on time and I love it I like regatta coats on the whole I have a few this 1 fits perfectly and looks good when the zip is done up had on poppers done its so snug and warm keeps the wind and rain our too
It’s ok, waterproof, although it’s the plastic-y type that makes you sweat so not particularly warm. Also feels very stiff when wearing and is quite rustly/crinkly/noisy. It does the job for the price but it’s not ever going to be a favourite.
I am a size 12 and I bought this coat in a 16 after reading reviews to size up a lot. I think a 14 would have fit perfectly even with a thick jumper underneath. But at least this way I can wear any size chunky knit I want. I have had issues with Regatta coats being very small so I know to always order at least one size up. That would be my suggestion on this coat too. The zip is a little odd, I had to take it off and zip it. I’ll figure it out this weekend when I’m wearing it for Christmas. Over all a lovely warm coat at a very good price right now.
Waterproof jacket is warm and lightweight to wear. Needed to order a size bigger as they are small fitting.
Such a great coat! Keeps out wind as well as the rain! And boy did mine get a test with rain at it’s first airing!
Good length, fit and lightweight. Hood could be a little deeper but it still works, and I’d love a second inside pocket, but have to say it’s a really lovely jacket that fits my needs perfectly!
Just received, tried on & love it. I’m a 12 mainly sometimes a 14 so went for 14 & glad I did. Can get a thin fleece underneath but not sure ill need it as has a warm lining. Though looked an odd shape going bit wider about thigh height then realised must be for sitting down when zipped up. Only thing will need to keep eye on is getting zip started..ok once fastened but hope lasts as jacket is really good quality for the price. Looks lot more expensive.
This coat is as advertised I am pleased with it but I would have preferred the hood to fold into the collar when you do not need it.
Wind and waterproof and good vfm. Only criticism is that can’t get cuffs to be as tight as they need to as velcro not big enough. Does not stop me wearing it.
Bought this jacket for dog walking as wanted a longer jacket. but it only has 2 outside pockets & 1 internal for phone. Not enough to safely hold keys, tissues, torch & poo bags etc. Keeping it for normal daily wear instead as it is comfy & warm. Maybe didn’t read the description properly.
Lovely long, warm and waterproof coat. Perfect for dog walks, kept me warm and dry in torrential rain. Did size up after reading other reviews, glad I did as roomy and can wear jumper underneath. Speedy delivery too.
Lightweight but warm. The pocket flaps are just for fun, the 2 outside pockets are slanted but they are zipped so nothing should fall out. There’s also an inside phone pocket on the left. The main zip goes both ways so you can lift it from bottom and sit down in your not so bulky coat. The only downside is that it is loud and crinkly fabric; but when you’re battling wind and rain wearing it you won’t complain. I’m size 12/ 14, and bought 14, fits well.
Love this coat – great colour, warm, waterproof …… But the zip!! So fiddly and badly made – I have to stand there like a toddler and get someone else to do the coat up for me as it’s nearly impossible to align myself, and the zip itself is now starting to Frau and bend – don’t think it will last long sadly l.
I had an issue with a small stain for which I couldn’t be bothered to return the coat and wait for a new one. Without hesitation the company refunded my delivery fee as an appreciated gesture
This coat is great for me to dog walk in , it’s nice and long so keeps me dry , it is a bit snug I’m a regular 14 and actually it’s slightly on the tighter side when I wear a thicker sweater but on the whole it’s a good value coa
I like regatta but do find with all there coats you have to order next size up, l have four Regatta coats and am sure it won’t be the last, very nice xoa
I bought it in a smaller size and had to send back – I’ve never been so sad at sending something back – I immediately fell in love with this. The new one, that fits better is great. Order arrived quickly within given time frame.
Coat is a nice quality and very comfy and warm. The zip up pockets are huge so I’ve been able to leave the house without a bag for the first time in years.

Received my jacket today ordered the black jacket in size 16 it’s a bit neat, good length and very warm
My wife really likes this coat. Lovely colour and feels expensive. She hasn’t tried it out yet but I’m sure a weekend exploring new digs in Scotland will fix tha
I sized up so I had room for thicker jumpers but I think you’d be OK with your regular size as even with a jumper it is roomy. Arms aren’t too narrow either which is where I sometimes struggle with coats.
I wanted a coat for walking to work in any weather and this is perfect.
Great coat. Only negatives are that it’s a very loud crunchy material and doesn’t have poppers so if you don’t want it zipped up it doesn’t stay together well with just velcro.
It is very comfortable & true to size. Only niggle is i find the zip hard to do up.
Lovely warm coat..keeps the rain out .
As others have said zip can be a bit fiddly.
Really good value jacket but definitely need to size up for hip size. I found the 16, my usual size was perfect on the top but too tight round my thighs and bum. The 18 is perfect and looks good with the waist cinched in using the drawstring round the middle. I’d have liked more pockets but it does the job and I found it to be a nice warm jacket on cold and wet days. Really good coat for the price.
Waterproof and warm, the length is longer than some and covers your bottom and top of legs well, dipping to the back. There is a fleece lining to part of the back. It has deep side pockets with zips but it’s a shame the other side pockets with poppers are mock pockets and I’d have liked fleece lined pockets for extra warmth. Straps to tighten the cuffs are handy. Lovely mustard colour and removable fur to the hood. I’m not a fan of the double zips – took me about 5 minutes this morning to get the zippers lined up right. I get a feeling the zip won’t last long. That’s my only issue, otherwise it’s a great coat for cold, wet weather.
Looks nice, it’s cosy but I had to send back my original order as it was a little snug so went up a size. It’s still not massive if you want to put a jumper under it but it will do hopefully!
Great product & for a bargain too! I sized up after reading the reviews but think I could have bought my usual size as it came up baggy, not an issue as the toggles pull it tighter & lots of room for jumpers etc! Although it’s lovely & warm! Found out I was pregnant too, so it has been super handy to wear throughout my growing bump!
This jacket is perfect for the rain and cold. It looks great on, however I would size up as it is quite a snug fit. I also find the zips a bit finicky so bear that in mind before you buy. Otherwise I love the jacket and will get loads of wear out of it!
Its a good coat, definately good value for the price, yes it is waterproof, yes it does stop the wind, and the length is good, keeps you dry to your knees, the zips are great, easy to use in both directions. Hood is well thought out, especially with the adjuster, which makes it a perfect fit, when it is in the down position, the fur acts a good wind shield for the ears. The colour is a rich dark red wine, it a clean looking colour. Downside, it does make a crunching noise as you walk, so not too good if you are hoping to do any bird watching. If you are going out in minus 8 deg, you definately need to wear a thick jumper.
Lovely colour, I brought the orange one. It’s a comfy coat and it’s nice and warm, without making you roast!! Was nice and warm with just a long sleeve top under it. I have worn regatta coats for years and my only grumble with this one is the sizing is a little smaller. I have always gone up a size so I have room for thick jumpers and the hips! this coat is a little more snug on the hips and little shorter in length for me than I like but I am 5ft11 so it only just covers my bum and the zip gets stuck at times which is annoying! But otherwise it’s a great coat which will keep you dry and warm
I’m pleased. The first coat I ordered was “dark khaki” and a size 20. I normally wear 14/16 and the size 20 was way too big for me. I have 114 cm in my bust. I ordered second coat a size 18 and changed the color to “mustard seed”. This size is also a little loose for me but it is definitely better fitting than the size 20 and I like this colour.
My husband has been nagging me to buy myself a new coat and I have resisted for several years, wearing the same torn stained coat. I finally gave in and bought this one, fully expecting it not to fit or having some other complaint. This fit perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with it, The hood is nice and deep, I go to walk the dog in the pouring rain with no umbrella and I stay completely dry, no rain even hits my face due to the generous hood and fur trim. It’s longish on me as I am only 5′ tall, so comes down to just above my knees which is perfect. Lovely and warm, but doesn’t feel overly bulky. The zip also works smoothly and is double ended. I expect this coat to last me for years, top buy.
Stylish and practical coat. Good waterproof fabric and warm when out walking. The downside is the zip design which is tricky to do up and takes some getting used to. Also the sizing is on the small side.
The coat is just the right thickness for walking at this time of the year. There is a thin fleece area around the back to keep your back warm and the hood is just the right size. The fur trim is a nice quality and removable. Also at 5’10 I find that this is a good length coat to wear with leggings and boots.
In all, this is a another good coat by regatta and I would recommend it.
Got this at great price, absolute bargain. Nice feminine colour, waterproof, warm, taped seams, good length. Hood is a decent size, shields face and stays up but doesn’t obscure vision. Excellent in-between jacket as I have a TOG24 parka that is too warm for non-freezing weather. Got a couple of sizes up to leave room for more jumpers/layers. Have hardly had it off since I got it.
Ordered the mustard, colour is lovely. I must admit having looked at other reviews, I thought about ordering a larger size but glad I didn’t now as I found my usual size 10 a perfect fit even with a woolly jumper underneath. Delivery was quicker than expected so all in all I’m over the moon with my purchase especially for the price paid.
It’s fairly waterproof and warm. A bit too bulky for my liking (thats just personal preference though). The burgandy colour is a bit more purply than I was hoping- less red. But a decent winter coat, probably good on snowy days.
I’m around a size 12 and bought a size 16 because I wanted plenty of space for thick jumpers plus I’m really quite broad across the shoulders. It fits fine and I can pull the elasticated waist bit in to give it more shape if wanted. In this photo I’d just come back from a rainy and windy school run wearing a thick jumper underneath so I’d loosened the waist a little.
The hood is the perfect size – it covers my head well even if I have a ponytail in but it isn’t so big that I get lost in it!
I love the colour too, it’s kind of a burnt orange. Nice to have a colour that stands out a little and I like autumnal colours on me.
All in all, I’m really pleased with this and know I’ll get a lot of wear out of it.
