Bought for myself as part of improving my self-care routine. This clipper has an amazing range of lengths and attachments, giving a huge range of customization and allowing a lot of styles. It is fantastic for beard styling.

The only issue is that it struggles with thick hair. I was expecting to be able to use this for the top of my head as well, however it can only manage to my upper sideburns before it struggles. Any further up and it can jam entirely.

its very sharp and for a trimmer can cut. battery lasts a long time and the lock button surely helps so no accidentally turning it on as its a slide button. well made and feels quality and not cheap. does take a little time getting use to the cutting angle and the heads as its a slightly more deeper angle of approach. not a lightweight trimmer as some weight to it which again makes it feel more premium and value for the money.come with usual clip on heads oil and comb.although comb was missing from mine. other than that i would recommend it.

Much better build quality than I expected for the price point. Cuts effortlessly and quickly through very thick hair, coarse hair. Battery life seems good for the size. Can be used both cordless and corded. The only draw back I’ve noticed is that the speed of the motor noticeably drops when unplugged even when fully charged.

Works really well for my head and body. Facial is ok gotta use the guards which isn’t ideal but it’s not really meant for facial. Medium size width to the shaver which is better for your head, less clunky and more precision. Had it 6 months, holding charge okkkkk but not amazing.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI usually buy the cheapest beard trimmers because they do the job and I’m not too fussed.
Decided to spend a bit more this time in the hope of more longevity.
I couldn’t be happier with it. From the design to the close cut and array of different sized guards it is perfect.
    Would highly recommend

I’ve had numerous cheap cordless Wahl clippers. They last 12/24 months then fit for the bin + snag your hair while cutting. Upgraded to these Remingtons. The build quality is far superior, cut is effortless with zero snagging, quiet, excellent battery. I use it without any attachments and it gives an extremely close cut. Great product.

This is a very substantial and well made trimmer, much more durable and more impressive than our old plastic one with cheap attachments.

This feels nice to hold and isn’t too weighty to use, it’s comfortable and the attachments are easy to change over. It holds a good charge and is compact for travel.

Trimming wise it’s exactly what we needed, it’s easy to get the desired length and is effortless to use, a little too effortless at times and is easy to nick yourself before you’re used to it, so be careful!!

Nonetheless a great trimmer and decent quality which should last.

While this would be 5 stars, the two different types of attachment do not run on the same scale, 4.5 on the turnable razor settings heading is not 0.5 less than the single numbered 5 attachment. Now I’ve had to shave the whole thing off because there is about an inch and a half’s difference between the two. My face is cold.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI have to say comparing the Remington MB7050 to my 40 Braun BT5260 (ok compared to Philips but expensive – plastic and metal blades) & Phillips trimmers BT3226/13 (great for the price and good cut but width of metal blate is too narrow)- the Remington is next level all round.

Don’t get me wrong the Braun and Phillips are both great trimmers but lack in certain areas for me which is why I upgraded to the Remington – I’ll explain…

I want an all-in-one t-bar style trimmer as this has a wider cut which can be used on the head also.
Has to have a range of sutting lengths from 0 – 20mm and everythign inbetween which most don’t have.
    For example the majority only have the traditional step graded guards – Blades – 0-1mm, No1 – 3mm, No2 – 6mm etc.
I don’t want traditional lengths as they are either too long or too short as Ideally I want a 2.5mm or 2mm or 1.5mm on top .
(In my experience with head trimmers they are way too heavy handed and bulky for solo use. Plus I butcher my head when using and I’ve owned a few different types over the years to know)
Also I didn’t want was loads of unnecessary heads, guards and bits which I won’t use. Just something simple, refined, solid with a good battery life for regular use.

After exploring the wide market, that is male grooming products I narrowed my choice down to 2 contenders:
    1. Wahl t-bar
    2. Remingtom t-bar
Again, for me, despite the glowing reviews the Wahl had too many or too little bits for what I wanted and was fundamentally more expensive than the Remington.
It’s a shame I couldn’t have bought both and been able to return one after comparing – might have changed my mind on having too many bits!
Also to add insult, I’ve been checking them again this morning and all the Wahl’s I looked are on offer now – Amazon ou are watching me watching you!!

Anyway, the Remington won! Has the right amount of bits (as I keep banging on about) of which are good quality, covering the right amount of cut lengths, great quality case, looks stylish in black and gold, is a good weight with excellent build quality. But, how does this trimmer perform on me and after the initial wow?

I went for the 9mm guard on the face – beard and it’s perfect. No flexing of the guard giving an uneven cut nor was the guard too heavy on my face causing irritation. Only needed to use the 1st power setting as I didn’t feel the trimmer required the extra power and wasn’t left dissapointed. There is an adjustable guard which has a gold metal section; think is great so might go shorter on the beard and try out next time – 1mm – 5mm and possibly try on my head? I did use this guard on my eyebrows, the 5mm setting and was spot on without fault and didn’t cause irritation’
Used the blade without guard on the uper part of face and neck areas to style, trimming back to skin.
Very impressed with the closeness of the shave and didn’t need to use the foil head accessory this time around to get closer.

Next for the head – I’ve been shaving since lockdowns, plus it’s thinning now so saving cash on the barbers at 10 a pop.
I’ve gone for using the No0 – 1.5mm guard on approx 5-7mm of hair growth.
Firstly on the 2nd power setting and it went through my hair like hot knift through butter.
After a few runs over the top and side it was all off; took some brushing inbetween to gauge where I was with the cut but I could have made this easy on myself buy grading down to a 1.5.
Guard off to cut into sides and back of my neck which was also a close and accurate experience.
No irritation at any point and was a much more pleasent and quicker experience than using my old Braun and Phillips beard trimmers on my head.

I’ve not used the foil as yet but when I have another trim up in the next coupls of days will give it a go.
I’m not too bothered with the foils performance as the t-bar without guard is close enough for my liking also from time to time I wet shave. If it’s exceptionally good I’ll update on here after use.

lastly to mention as a bit of a perfectionist I take my time with the whole face / head trimming experience and as a result need a trimmer with lasting power to match.
The Remington has a light system on the back which other reviewers have included pictures of – charging and in use notification. (For the record the initial charge took around 3hrs prior to use)
After 30-40mins use the trimmer shot down to 2 blue lights, which cnsidering the advertised 5hr use per charge is not representative of this?
(Could be one of those small print certifications that says 5hrs use on the 1st power setting? Might be about right as I was using the trimmer for 30mins my head – 2nd power setting).

All in all, the old Phillips trimmers BT3226/13 is being made a reserve due to the width of cut, accuracy and closeness of the shave after 4yrs of use. The Braun BT5260 is being made redundant after only owning since March 2020 as they are no where close to the performance of either the Remington or Phillips.

It’s worth the 80 spend if you are in the market for an all round device tou can keep for years (hopefully)
There’s not much more I can say on this trimmer other than it’s another example of you get what you pay for.
(*Note – spare parts are advertised but I can’t find anywhere )

This Remington T-Series Men’s Hair Clipper and Beard Trimmer has a surprising amount of different combs to cope with a fair range of hair and beard lengths.

I’m not keen on the stubble look, I like my beard to be longer but even and neat and this does the trick. After a first recharge and finding the right tool to add on to the head, this shaver was surprisingly quiet and very easy to use. So it gets the thumbs up for beard use. Sadly, I don’t need to cut my hair so I can’t try this, but it does a treat with sideburns, too, so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.

Being rechargeable there’s a definite weight to the device, something I needed to get used to when trimming my beard. I’ve also used just the foil attachment to tidy up around the beard and it works like a basic shaver with this on. The main head without any of the guards is a bit too close for me to use but I tried it around the neck and it helped tidy hair up around there, so it works but I wouldn’t use it for anything unless I wanted really thin just about seen subtle stubble as it cuts really close.

Price is a little high but it does feel like good quality and comes with a fair few attachments.

I’ve bought and discarded so many beard trimmers in the last couple of years because they don’t do what I want them to do, but this one finally does.

The charge lasts a good length of time depending I guess on how regularly you use it, the different ‘blades’ lengths are also good, I don’t like my stubble to be too long and this trimmer cuts to the length I want fine.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great little clipper. The version I purchased had attachments for beard, hair and a shaving foil. I only purchased for the beard trimmer. I wanted a trimmer with good battery coupled with good beard trimmer attachments.
For beard trimming it’s very good. It’s sharp and because of its size allows good visibility when shaping. A word of warning if you like to trim without guards. The blade is close to the edge out of the factory so too much pressure is applied it will nick. I believe the blade may be adjusted further search YouTube if interested.
It charges super quick and holds charge well but as with all rechargeable products you must never completely allow it to discharge. A charge once a week if used daily or every two weeks if used less often should suffice.

The body of the unit has a solid feel but is just a tad bit too heavy. The finish on the unit does not provide sufficient grip as it’s too smooth.

It has a dedicated adjustable beard attachment, numerous hair combs in various grades and the shaving foil.
I have used it for beard and hair and it is satisfactory. I have always wet shaved so the shaving foil is redundant.
For maintenance there’s a tiny cleaning brush, a little bottle of oil and everything can be kept together in a pencil case style case.

After buying many trimmers I come to the conclusion that only the high price units have proper batteries and that means the units life is that much longer.
Thankfully this was purchased whilst on offer.

    I award four stars.

    Happy shopping.

Seems a great set of clippers. Cuts very close without the guard without cutting skin and is good for both face, head and anywhere else you might like to trim. My only complaint is that the case is way to small and poor quality for a trimmer that isn’t cheap. Surely a decent case could have been included Remington.

    Quality
    – Well built ergonomic design it does have some weight to it but everything feels premium.
    – Blades cut very well and with the oil you maximize performance.
    – Attachments are of good quality although apart from the foil shaver, precision comb and main attachment the rest are basic.
    – Pouch feels very premium

    Features
    – 11 attachments: Metal Adjustable Stubble Comb, 9x Hair & Beard Combs, Foil Shaver Attachment.
    – Cutting lengths: 0.4-25mm.
    – 4 hour charge time for 300 minutes usage.
    – Titanium blades.
    – Wet & dry use, fully washable
    – Includes: Cleaning brush, oil, barber’s comb travel pouch and a user guide.
    – Safety lock
    – 3 pin plug
    – Rechargeable & can use plugged it.
    – Precision Stubble Comb

    What I like:
    – Titanium blades are very good you can feel the difference compared to other cheaper trimmers.
    – 3 ping plug – It’s just so annoying having to use an adapter to charge your trimmer i get it if you travel etc but for someone who doesn’t too much this is nice.
    – If you forget to charge it this can be used while plugged in which is nice if you are on a rush.
    – Usage time compared with recharging time is amazing.
    – The safety lock is very useful if you have kids around
    – The travel pouch feels premium and fits a decent amount of accessories + the trimmer easily.
    – Colour combination – this is a preference but I think this colour combination is very nice compared to silver / blue trimmers that look like a toy.

    What I don’t like:
    – The only thing i don’t like is that it does not include a smaller precision attachment to really detail corner or hard to reach areas like other trimmers have, unfortunately, I do not know why it does not include one but trying to detail with the wide one is quite difficult.

    Overall Thoughts:
I think this trimmer is very well built and premium for the price, I would personally buy it, although it does not include a smaller precision head I think it still an amazing trimmer overall, the colour is also very nice my husband loves it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very well built beard trimmer, nice colour & premium compact feel in the hands.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDuring lockdown I started cutting my husbands hair, first with scissors, and then hair clippers. I’ve gone through a few brands with mixed results but these are by far the most straightforward to use, have the best variety of comb sizes and attachments and most importantly, reliably cut the hair evenly.

Firstly, the clippers have a nice slim design that is comfortable in the hand. They charge easily via USB and each charge will last a couple of hair cutting sessions. There is a simple lock/unlock button, to avoid it being switched on accidently as the on/off button is indented rubber and easy to accidentally turn on.

There are two different speed settings you can choose. I started on the lower setting but the higher setting is much quicker, you will need to go over the hair several times on the lower setting to get the desired length. Good for practice but slow.

There is a great range of combs included and they are very easy to interchange.

The clippers and accessories all fit in a travel bag, included.

If you are making the switch from getting your hair cut in a barber to using home clippers these are an excellent, high quality and reliable option.

I received the MB7000 edition which comes with 8 attachments and this is the one I am reviewing. This doesn’t come with a shaver attachment.

This hair trimmer is a beauty — the combination of black and gold is truly regal. Although it has a simple minimalist design, it combines precision, looks and performance flawlessly. The entire kit comes with a storage pouch and is very travel friendly.

It comes with every attachment that you need and never knew you needed to cater for every possible look or necessity. The build quality is great — looks reliable and durable just as what I have come to know Remington to excel at.

It is the best trimmer we tried so far and very worthy of the price tag. A breeze to clean since it is completely waterproof, and I thoroughly tested this. The battery life is fantastic, the precision is top-notch, the grip is comfortable, and it operates almost silently in comparison to other trimmers we tried that very much sound like drilling machines.

If you are looking for an upgrade in terms of performance and quality, then this trimmer is certainly worth serious consideration. I would highly recommend it. Well done Remington!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIn our family, we have avoided going to a barber shop since the lockdown started (similar to most of UK I guess) so when I saw this on Vine, I immediately grabbed it. I have used remington products in the past and they have always been of great quality.

I was really excited to try this and got my wife to cut my hair using this the next weekend after it arrived. It was easy to setup and already had some charge. We have used other trimmer in the past but they have always felt not as great as the ones in barber shop. This felt really solid in the hand and had a bit of weight which provided a good grip.

It comes with all the attachments you would need for a cut or even a beard trim. It was really easy to set it to the right length and then we got working. It felt really smooth in my hair and didn’t pull my hair like others I have used.

When it came to trimming the edges to size, again it was much easier to do with this one. You have to choose the right attachment for the job.

The battery life is excellent and we have not had to charge it even after we have used it for 3 times already.

It is waterproof as well so I have taken it with me in the shower to trim my beard hair as well and it worked perfectly.

    Pros
    Sturfy design
Lots of attachments for every scenario
    Easy to hze
    Precise cut
    Great battery life
    Waterproof

    Cons
The price seems a bit high for personal use but I guess its fine for professionals

So, the package and the trimmer itself is not the best in looks. I mean I have seen alot fancier trimmers with eye catching colors and packaging. But when it comes to the functions and performance. This trimmer is one of the best available in the market. I mean the convince it provides and the fact that it can be used in water being 100 percent waterproof! It comes with 9 hair and beard combs and a micro stubble comb which is more than enough for everyday use. The battery time is great too. Normally it can easily run upto 4 hours straight. But for an average usage it lasts really good. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants convenience and great results at home!

This is everything a man needs for hair maintenance rolled into one. It is exceptional.

It cuts hair with precision, perfect for clean sharp lines when styling a beard or head hair. It’s perfect for neatening up the beard in a stylish way and removing stray facial and under the neck hairs, it’s also great for a shaven look since it can get very close to the skin. Removing hair with the various attachments and obtaining the desired hair length is easy. This is premium quality and removes hair with ease, safely and fluently.

I love that it comes with a storage bag that fits everything in just fine, keeping it dust free and ready to go for the next time and i also like that it has a wall / plug charger for convenient and effective charging.

This is an amazing stylish looking shaver that is so easy and light to hold in the hand, I myself don’t like vibrations going through my hands so i was very surprised at how little this does vibrate.

It comes with a full set of 11 hair attachments and a Foil Shaving Attachment 1 38mm T-Blade, 1 Micro Stubble Comb, 9 Hair & Beard Combs, oil, a small cleaning brush and a small bag which it all surprisingly fits into.

This does a really good cut better than any shaver I have ever owned and doesn’t pull your hair, it also has turbo mode which helps get through thicker hair more easily.

The battery life is brilliant and it is fully waterproof when used wireless and it can also be used via wire if needed.

Overall I would definitely recommend this shaver it is such good quality and looks like it will last a long time.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAs you’d expect from Remington, these clippers are excellent. The solid, tapered shape is easy to hold even with wet hands, and the clippers themselves perform extremely well when new. My experience of Remington clippers has been that they last for years, and the detachable head on these means cleaning or replacement is even easier.

Unlike trimmers with variable blade guides, the simple and shiny cutting head on this is really easy to see in the mirror for careful shaping, and the tightly-packed components don’t get too clogged up with stray clippings.

The bag is quite simple, but roomy enough to carry them, and the charger is robust with a guide for orientation plus clear lights to show the state of charge. It runs when plugged in, so a flat battery won’t prevent a trim if you have power to hand.

Not much more to say – they’re just very good, well-made clippers with a full set of grades, a very, very useful foil trimmer and even some machine oil and a brush for cleaning. The only ‘less perfect’ part is the variable-depth guide; it’s obviously a compromise part to make up for the lack of variable blade guide and match third-party products, and it feels and looks cheaper than the rest. It works well enough though.

Top marks for a top timmer, absolutely recommended, and a significant upgrade in terms of grip and noise levels over my ten-year-old Remington rechargeable trimmer which is otherwise still perfectly usable.

Did I mention how awesome the foil trimmer is?

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect - and what isn't, doesn't matte

Off the bat, this is one stylish looking minimalistically designed trimmer.

5 hour runtime on a single 4 hour charge. A 5 minute quick charge will give you about 20 minutes worth of trim time.

It has a series of versatile cutting attachments from the 38mm T Blade, a micro stubble comb from 1.5 to 5mm, 9 hair and beard combs from 1.5 to 25; and a super clean-shave wide foil attachment.

The ‘Turbo Boost’ function allows the trimmer to plough through the thickest of hair apparently. Though on closer inspection it’s not as powerful as our Oster clippers, which is a beast of a workhorse. It’s doubtful it could outperform on afro hair for example, like the Oster can. This isn’t too much of an issue for me as my hair is wavy and thinning (age, being the most mitigating factor) and thus, swift to trim with this trimmer, negating the need for further input from the barber.

It’s totally waterproof so I can use it in the shower for a quick top-up as a secondary shave in the evening or when in a rush before work. The total waterproofing is such an ease to clean too.

    + The Bottom Line:

The set packs heaps of attachments and is loaded with functionality: the boost function is particularly useful, the wise foil attachment for a super smooth clean shave, the wider range of variability in cutting lengths; the long battery life makes charging once a month quite possible. Plus the power boost allows it to be easily travel-ready as a quick 5 minute charge will give you enough to neaten yourself up for the day.
All wrapped up in a pretty good quality expensive looking travel pouch.

It seems as if Remington have designed the perfect and all-encompassing ‘Lockdown’ trimmer. Bravo!
    5 stars.

I got this as a substitute for my old no brand hair clipper. And can tell the difference straight away, after taking it from a box. It came witch such a variety of attachments I got shocked. There is 10 of them. Then on my old one, I had 4, so it took time to get used to this. However I still use just a few of them as I am not professional, but I guess for professional such a variety would be important. It is very light which helps it a lot when dealing with a bear countering. Moreover, it is cordless so there are no issues using it freely where you want. A waterproof function comes in handy too, can have a quick shave with foil shaver while taking a shower. As well in the box there is a nice and compatible storing bag in which can fit all attachments as well as a machine itself so it makes firstly storing very easy, and travel-ready all the time. A battery indicator is in a back of trimmer so can keep an eye on how much energy left. However, as I am using it just 5 minutes a day I can’t tell too much about battery life. It is good hair clippers/trimmer for everyone who wants a good quality product for a reasonable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality hair calippers/trimmer for a professional and beginners equally

This is an excellent trimmer, it’s feels really great in the hands, the vibration from the motor is very small and the cutters are really powerful.

It also has a turbo mode to help get through thicker beards.

I have owned and tested loads of trimmers in the past and this is by far the best one I own.

The attention to detail is excellent. It looks really good too.

It comes with a small premium feeling travel bag which at first i was really unsure if it would all fit inside but remarkably it does.

This is really compact for how powerful it is and would be a perfect accessory to travel with.

It comes with a full set of 11 hair trimming attachments and a Foil Shaving Attachment.

    1x 38mm T-Blade

    1x Micro Stubble Comb (1.5mm-5mm)

    9x Hair & Beard Combs (1.5-25mm)

It’s also fully waterproof when used without it’s cord but can also be use with the cord attached.

The Battery life is amazing at 5hours of use time and it also has a 5-minute quick charge which can give you enough for a quick run.

Overall, this is by far the best Hair/Beard trimmer I now own. I really love it and would recommend it to anyone. An easy 5 Stars for me.

Considering the price of a haircut these are excellent value. The cordless option is really handy and the battery lasts ages. I really like the lightweight slim feel of these clippers and they are very powerful and seem like they will last a good while

I would like to start of mentioning how good the blades are on this trimmer, they are by far the best ones I have seen on a hand held trimmer. You get attachments for all your needs such as a stubble which is fully adjustable, foil shaver and 9 attachments for grooming beards and hair. The battery is suppose to give 5 hours which if you are in the barber business should last you a whole day but I love that it does a quick charge feature which allows you to charge it for 5 minutes and it will give you enough power for a trim — great if you are in a hurry or you have forgotten to charge it. It is waterproof also you can use it in the shower — I have not tried it but don’t worry as it comes with a 3-year warranty if anything goes wrong. It’s from a good reliable brand and should last you years if you look after it. I would still oil the blades regularly to keep everything working well. Lots of precise features so you can get the cut you desire. So far so good so I am going to highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent blades, travel case and lot's of attachments

Coming from my old tried and trusted Wahl branded trimmer, I have to admit making the switch to Remington was a bit of a tough choice but within minutes of using this trimmer, I’m blown away by its performance & precision.

Firstly, it’s packaged well & looks/feels of a premium build quality. The black with gold accent is stylish & modern.

There’s a good range of attachments & the option to increase by just 0.5mm – a welcome change that I love. There’s a full foil shaver attachment too which gives such a clean shave it’s almost baby soft! I don’t go clean shaven too often but this is lovely for getting that sharp finish if shaping up.

The precision is something I haven’t been able to find in my other trimmers, and I’ve owned a few. I think the fit in the hand also helps and it’s not too heavy either. I’m now able to line up my beard and it keeping it looking fresh in between barber visits.

It can be used wirelessly which is a big selling point for me, I hate being tethered to the wall. Battery life is really good, with up to 4hrs use between uses. I haven’t had any nasty hair pulling or snags & the T blades feel above what I’ve used in the past.

Personally I think it’s a good price for what you get. I may now retire my barber and stick to home trims!
