Was sent a step by step guide how to uses i
Absolutely no question super value and very easy to use as for the company they took time to show care for what I had I would like to thank all conserved both Amazon and Fort products
This product was recommended and following the instructions I found it easy to use. The result is yet to be concluded as the fluid takes time to impregnate into the mortar.
Well the stuff is a bit more ‘runny’ than I had imagined so each hole ended up dribbling some out before I managed to plug it up. Niggling I suppose but it’s not cheap so each dribble was money as far as I was concerned. If it does the job and my internal walls dry out then I won’t mind I guess. Only time will tell if the time and money was well spent so I really can’t give 5 stars at this stage. If it works I’ll happily give six stars- fingers crossed.
Damp in my dining room so took off the plasterboard, cleaned up the brick surfaces with a wire brush then drilled 12 mm holes at 120mm intervals and injected the cream as stated in the instructions. I waited 48 hours then added more in to the holes just to make sure before plugging them with cement.
Its a little too early to tell if it is working or not but I applied it about a month ago and as yet no more damp.
I have every confidence it will work and would definately recommend the product……..,I’m about to order some more for my front porch.
very sceptical about damp proof creams and as a Chartered Surveyor doing work on my own property it was important to get it right! drill holes at the specified distance, insert cream to the face and plug with their plugs! easy. I had a damp wall (old property) now its dry ready to plaster. I also used a SBR/cement only slurry mix which was brush applied also.
Hope this helps.
No idea if it has sorted the damp yet but confident it will. Delivery was amazing and turned up next day . The product is cheaper than others I have bought.
Great product & fab service. Ordered on Thur & delivered then next day 🙂
If you’re a decent diy-er, injecting your bricks with these bad boys will be substantially cheaper than paying some charlatan damp-proofing company to do it for you. It will also save you approximately 2000 per wall. You’ll need a good drill, long drill bit and a bit of sploge to plug the hole afterwards. This pack of three did about 6-8 metres of wall. Seems to have worked too.
Great service, quick delivery and the product is very easy to use and works very well.
Used several weeks ago and the wall has dried out. It is quite runny but I suppose that helps it diffuse into the mortar. You just need to be careful not to try to force too much into the holes as it will be forced out of the back of the tube, just gentle pressure as you fill the hole.
Absorbed well. Easy to use. Very impressed. Definitely can recommend and will buy again, arrived quick, great seller.
Item arrived very quickly. The instructions were clear and the work was done easily without any mess.
Delivery on time, instructions included, backup offered by seller. Easy to use once prep is done. Can see it starting to work in the walls. Need to wait to see full effect.
Great price, easy to use but too early to say if it works, but many reviews says it does.
Easy to use only time will tell how good the DPC is. Did the whole externals of a terraced house with 4 tubes to spare.
These cartidges are 400ml, so you need the larger size gun to use them. the cream is quite fluid, so v.easy to inject. Don’t push the nozzle hard to the end of the hole or the gun pressure can force the cream backwards out of the rear of the cartridge, it says to withdraw as you squeeze. So far so good, just need to see the ceam working and the damp dry out..
I’ve used this product before on a different part of the house a year or so ago and it worked a treat.
It’s a lot cheaper than getting a professional company to do it, as I did a few years ago. I watched what they did and thought “I could do that”.
It’s very thin and runs easily, so I put it in the fridge overnight, it helped a little bit. You do need the plastic plugs to plug the drilled holes immediately you inject the DPC into the drilled hole or it will just run out.
Only gripe was that the plug fell out one tube so lost half the produc
Looks to be a great product as described but too early to tell if it has fixed the damp issue
The material is fairly runny, however after the first couple of holes it became easier to use, it’s a matter of gently squeezing while withdrawing the nozzle and keeping an eye that the hole is completely filled without over doing it. Too soon to tell how well it will work for my situation.
As long as it does what it says on the tube, I'm very happy, only time will tell.
They responded promptly when I requested technical information, the mark of a good company in my estimation.
Will I use them again? I have a stone built property with walls 2 feet thick in Wales to tackle – really damp, this will test the product out.
I'll update you when I have bought the next batch
Bought this as currently renovating an old terraced house with damp – I suspect the damp is penetrative from bad brickwork rather than rising damp as there are signs of a previous DPC however thought it best to cover all bases. This was really easy to use – as you drill into the mortar it was a really quick job – can already see the cream penetrating the mortar around it. Only time will tell if this has resolved part of the problem. I bought 10 tubes initially but have ordered another 10 to finish the rest of the house. Much cheaper than hiring a professional and easy for a diy’er to do.
his is a diy small project never tried this before and it will take some time before results. but it was as described and i would trade with seller again because of the keen prices.
Not yet finished the job owing to the bad weather, but so far, the product is as claimed. East to use and as far as I can see, very effective. Time will tell if it does stop the damp penetrating.
