A well-designed hairdryer that looks sleek and modern. It’s easy to use – just plug in and play – with a limited number of settings (but how many do you need really?). Very effective and not as loud as other hair dryers I’ve used, it’s also light to hold. I haven’t used it for travel yet but it wouldn’t take up much baggage space if I did or add much weight overall. Everything you’d want from a hairdryer!
As described by seller on first looks, i haven’t tried it out as it is a gift for someone it was well packaged and delivered 4 days earlier which was a bonus too.
This is a fantastic , super versatile hairdryer argot will suit anyone . It has attachments for straight hair or a diffuser for curly hair . Which is really hard to get !
It also has versatile settings and you can turn off or on the iconic settings to eliminate frizz . It also has a plug that can be 2 or 3 prong so I can take it abroad . It’s also lightweight to hold and for travel .
Already I’m in love . Then you add in the fact that it has the ionic settings which really helps my frizz mop look socially acceptable . This is great as I can used less product and can dry my hair quicker.
Overall I’m very impressed, I had my last hair dyer for about 5 years and I was reluctant to change it but wow I’m glad I did , getting a hair dyer right is very important. You use it so often that getting the right one is essential . I’m fussy and this is fab , highly recommend if your a man , women with straight or curly hair this is great .
This looks rather stylish and is notable for being rather lightweight when being handled. The controls are pretty much as standard on these types of products and it works well. I do wonder sometimes whether these sorts of things are worthy 50 quid and more but it does its job well and it feels pretty well made. For that I would recommend this hair dryer.
Gave this to my wife who has been using an older hair-drier for several years now. This one is definitely more powerful and has only 2 nozzles, which is much better than to have an endless array of different nozzles that never actually get used. The cord is long enough and allows movement even when your flat does not have sockets in quite the right places. There is also a hook at the base so you could leave it hanging in the bathroom.
The hair-drier is most certainly not lightweight, it weighs the same as all other hair-driers that I have come across. The price is also a bit high but then again you get a well designed high quality item.
I hadn’t realised how slow my old dryer had become until I gott his one. It’s great, the dryer is fairly compact and very sleek and light to hold. It delivers power drying very long hair fast but the nozzle doesn’t heat up too much (so that it falls off like my previous dryer). The lead is fairly long. My hair looks very shiny and smoothed down so perhaps the front grill infused with oil does work. I do wonder if this feature degrades as surely the oils will evaporate over time? Anyway it is a great dryer, the switches for temperature and speed are easy to use and my hand doesn’t easily touch them when holding the handle whilst drying my hair. Very pleased with it. I haven’t used the diffuser and it doesn’t work well on my long hair but the concentrator nozzle is good and smooths the cuticle layer on my hair down very well
This hairdryer works very well. It has plenty of power, and is quieter than most.
I originally expected that the “ionic emitters” were just a marketing gimmick, but I think that they actually work. There seems to be less static electricity around than with other dryers, and that makes the hair easier to control and to style.
It looks good, and the included attachments make it quite versatile too. I’d happily recommend this to others, and think that it represents good value for money.
Hard to justify the price tag on this. It is a nice hair dryer with a quiet action and an ergonomic grip. It is presented in a pleasant presentation box and would make a good gift. The special effect of it having Arran oil blow at you does actually work and stops hair going frizzy. How long that will last will have to be seen.
Really impressed with this hair dryer, it arrived beautifully presented in a lovely box. I have very thick, curly hair so was happy it came with a diffuser. It’s infused with argan and coconut oil and dryed my hair much faster than my previous dryer. It left my hair shiny and soft instead of feeling like straw. Love it.
I have ordered Revamp items before – they are great quality and arrive well presented in glossy packaging. I wanted to try this hair dryer as my previous one did not have a deffuser. This was a nuisance as I have naturally curly hair which has a tendency to frizz when dried. I was delighted with this dryer – the diffuser was easy to fit and have excellent results to my hair – really encouraging the curl while banishing the frizz. The dryer does come supplied with a directional nozzle for straight dries, however I am so pleased with the results from the diffuser that I can’t imagine taking it off! The dryer offers a choice of heat settings, including a cold setting function. It is quite powerful and dried my hair quickly. I am very happy with this item.
Revamp Progloss Quad Ionic 3800 Hairdryer – Lightweight, Portable Hairdryer with Concentrator and Volumiser Attachment, Infused with Super Smooth Oils for Salon Enhanced Shine – Black/Blue
I absolutely love this hairdryer! It’s just so easy to use and leaves my unruly hair so soft and silky!
It has 3 heat settings and 2 speed settings, the diffuser allows you create curls or straight hair, it really does leave your hair shiny and that’s because its infused with keratin, argan oil and coconut oil. …. I do think think this hair dryer is worth the price tag of 49, it leave a saloon finish that I love.
It’s well presented too so would make a fantastic gift for any lady.
A beautifully presented hairdryer that would make a great gift — 4 Stars
The first thing that impresses is the way this is presented; it comes securely boxed, with an attractive outer cardboard sleeve, and really looks very classy. With a variety of settings, including cold, and its diffuser attachment, this left my hair very smooth. If you’ve got longer hair, or have a sleek hairstyle, then this is ideal. However, on my shorter, textured cut I found I got a better result just using the dryer on its own.
It was delivered very promptly, was sensibly packaged, and overall, I was very happy with the product. It’ll certainly have the desired wow-factor if you’re presenting this as a gift.
Nice long flex is important for the female users of hairdryers. I presented this to my wife for her ample hair drying episode.
The cable is long always a bonus ;-). The presentation box is very much like all the brands maybe too much over the top.
Opening the inside feels a little letdown, while I’m not expecting to see much other than products, you seem to get bigger than the necessary box!
Speed power all nice, simple to use, no-frills and does the job.
This hair drier arrives well presented and packed. There are good instructions. The drier itself has all the expected functions and is made from good quality robust materials. Temperature control excellent etc.
The marketing says that the drier is portable. Well it’s heaver than I had expected and larger. It’s not an hair drier to pop in a small overnight bag more like one to put into a large suitcase. For 50 maybe 15 over priced. But does the job.
My wife is thrilled with this hairdryer. It is powerful and fast, and is light to hold and to carry. It comes with 2 speeds and 3 heat settings as well as a cool button and an ioniser to help stop frizzing. It also has extra little features which are great for travelling – a long power cable to make it easier to use in front of a mirror and a plug which can be easily changed from a UK one to a European one and back again.
My wife also likes the big diffuser which she says is great for voulumising and curling her hair, and which is easy to attach and remove.
I’m a bloke.
I thought I should make that clear from the outset, because if you’d only seen tv adverts for hairdryers you’d think they were exclusively for women, but guys use hairdryers too (maybe I should start up a GUHT support group ).
This comes presented in a rather lovely box, with gloss accents against the matt background which suggests the contents are going to be a bit special, and indeed it is – it looks gorgeous, the pale metallic blue stripe looks really striking against the matt black finish (which feels kinda ‘rubberised’), it’s the kind of dryer you’d imagine they’d use on the Starship Enterprise..
But good looks count for nothing if it hasn’t got the performance, and it really delivers – below the ‘cool shot’ button there are two switches, one for speed and one for heat – my usual dryer just has one that does both, having them separate gives you a great deal more control. It heats up and cools down quickly and it’s quite quiet on the low and medium settings, but about as noisy as any other dryer on the max setting.
On the rear of the handle is the ioniser switch, which in use lights up a nice sliver of blue on the body. The idea behind this is to produce millions of negatively charged ions, which break down the positively charged water molecules. Negative ions don’t open up the hair shafts, so the hair remains smooth and sleek, said Garion authoritatively.. I hadn’t the faintest idea what it was for, so I Googled it *laughs* (I did mention that I’m a geezer..). It’s also got a nice long cord, so you don’t have to hunch up near a plug socket.
This is a smashing piece of kit that performs as well as it looks.
Recommended.
I assist my wife with her hair on a morning as she has a frozen shoulder and this new hair dryer is perfect to assist me with drying her hair. The box is well designed, looks like a very professional set and its performance has meant I can throw away the old, cheap hair dryer we used to use. The accessories are ideal for styling (although my ability is limited) and the hair dryer itself is very simple to use with settings for every requirement. A great gift for those wanting something for their style conscious partner and ideal for those wanting a professional and hopefully long lasting styling product.
I’m very pleased with this hairdryer. I’ve had my old hairdryer for quite a few years and was surprised how much of a difference there is between this one and my old one. It gets really hot and it’s very powerful (2300W) but its a lot quieter than my previous one. It has 4 different heat settings and two different speed settings and of course, it also has a ‘cool’ setting. There is also a ‘concentrator’ nozzle and diffuser included in the box.
There is a button on the back that you press to turn on the ‘ionizer’. When using this you can use a lower temperature to dry your hair. You’ll see far less frizz and more shine.
The cable is also worth talking about as its 3 meters long which is a lot longer than most hairdryers. The plug itself is also great as the 3-pin UK plug can be removed to reveal a 2 pin European plug – so great if you are planning on going abroad!
I’ve got absolutely no idea what the ‘Progloss super smooth oils’ are all about. It claims the grill at the front is infused with Keratin, Argan, and Coconut. This sounds rather strange… there is not much of an explanation of what this is or does in the user guide. But it sure sounds nice.
If your looking for a basic hairdryer with a diffuser attachment this is what you get. I’m not sure though if it’s quite worth the 50 price tag. The hairdryer is light to hold though, looks professional and gets the job done.
There’s a big message on the box about essential oils and it took me a moment to figure out what this was all about. At first I thought I’d find oil bottles inside to add to my hair, but what it actually is, is that the grill has been coated in these oils. Did it make a difference? Sorry, but no. I suppose the air is supposed to blow some sort of remnant of the oil coating into your hair and have an effect. It sounds nice but I couldn’t tell any difference.
Simple, efficient and nicely presented in a box.
