Not my first product from the brand. Also bought some bags for bike packing last summer and decide to head back to the same brandthis time for my commute. Tired of cycling with backpack I really needed a big, stable, and good quality pannier bag. Absolute love the different features. Absolute favourite is the detachable strap to carry the carry the bag once walking to/from my bike. Great air removal tool to make the bag even more compact. I can easily carry my lunch box, change of clothes inside a pouch, pair of shoes, and laptop. Great the small pocket outside to store lights spares and pump (you never know when you might need them). Will keep buying more products from the brand if this is the quality!
Really useful pannier bag. Bought 1+ year ago and still going strong with daily use. Fitting system works well and overall quality it good. Only thing is the front zip tag came off , which was lost and I had to replace with a different one. But recommended regardless
Such a good bag! I was hesitant but it’s perfect for me, I’m always cycling round with two sets of clothes – for work and the gym, and it easily fits my trainers and gym kit, laptop and other things. There’s also a detachable inside laptop bag that means you can pull it out without pulling all your gym stuff out, too!
Only thing I reckon it needs is an inside compartment, or maybe just some of those packing blocks. But you could get those separately
Have only had this a couple of days ago, but I’m pretty impressed. I’m using it on a rear Nitto rack on a steel touring bike that’s set up for commuting on road and easy trails. The bag is very full-featured and well thought out. As far as I can tell, it seems sturdy and like it should hold up. It’s capacious and is comfortable when in backpack mode. The one thing I’m finding is it’s kind of a complex product and it takes a little while to learn to quickly/smoothly transition between all the different options.
Great buy and good quality, lots of compartment. what you see is pretty much what you get.
I’ve been thinking of getting a pannier which also works as a back pack for a while and eventually chose the rhinowalk. I’ve had Altura panniers a while and have always liked them as they are easily fixed and removed and pretty sturdy, but not that easy to carry. The rhinowalk are quite different in that they are made of a vinyl type of material which is strong and waterproof. It took me a while to get used to how they fold up at the top, how they clip to the bike and how the backpack straps work, but once this was sorted I think they are great. They have good capacity and will be waterproof and are comfortable to “wear”. Overall I would recommend them.
I have been looking for a pannier that doubles as a rucksack for some time now and and I’m really glad I opted for this one. It has already become a permanent feature on my bike, holding all the kit I need for cycling while allowing for impromptu visits to the shops, or anywhere, without feeling like I’m carrying a bulky old pannier. Just an regular rucksack.
It’s a well thought out bag, with an outside pocket, a retractable net for your helmet, and two bottle holders. The laptop envelope is also a nice touch. It’s large enough to comfortably fit a 15″ laptop, and can be taken out if you need the extra room for a grocery shop. The rucksack straps are robust and secure. They pull out easily and can be zipped away when you don’t need them. I tend to use just one rucksack strap and throw the bag over my shoulder, which I find to be tidy and convenient.
The reason I’ve given it four rather than five stars is because the pannier clips could do with having a rubberised layer to stop the bag sliding on the shelf. I fixed this by putting a couple of turns of black electrical tape around the points of contact on my rack. This adds enough friction to keep the clips rock solid.
I have only had this bag for a month, but so far it hasn’t shown any sign of wear or tear. I’m also yet to take it out in a deluge to test it’s waterproof abilities to the full, but It’s a decent quality bag for the price and I’m going to order another one to keep as a spare.
This is perfect! It is really waterproof, big space inside, and very stirdy. I love it I use it dayly and so far not even a screach. (one month) the hinges looks week, but so far even when I toss it around it holds perfectly. When using as a backpack, I can’t even feel the bike hanger part, and there are more the one ways to close up the bag. On the bike, it’s really stirdy, It is really quality and seems like it is going to stay like this for years. Even in an Irish weather, whatever I carry in the bag, it’s dry as the desert. If it ever break or tears I get back to you. But defenetly worth it!
