UPDATE: seller reached out and offered to make it right, and replace the rollers. May have been damaged in shipping. Updating rating due to nice customer service.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: The roller is super streaky. Paint goes on walls on the two ends but not in the middle of the roller..

Bought this having seen videos online of painters working impossibly fast. Did not believe it was true, until I got it. Once I added a pole, I managed to do a job by myself in 2 days that had taken 2 of us 4 days to do the last time we did it. A true game changer; and the rollers hardly splash any paint at all.

The thought of using a wide 18″ roller to save time and effort is a good one. And for the most part this worked. However, we did notice that pressure applied from the pole in the middle sometimes left an uneven distribution of the paint and a little more challenging to control. Found ourselves gravitating back to a regular roller.

Cover for tightening nut broke off. Now paint can get all over it which I’m sure will eventually lead to a lot of fun when trying to install rollers and adjust. Used twice. As you can see, when cleaning the handle, the lettering came off as well. I wouldn’t imagine selling a painting tool that loses it’s branding when cleaned with a paint cleaner. (Just regular rubbing alcohol). May seem irrelevant but the lack of marketing planning says a lot to me. Update**. Contacted the seller and they immediately shipped out a new frame which appears in excellent condition. Perhaps my issue was a “one off”. Before the tightening nut cover broke, I was very impressed with this frame. If there are no further issues, I’d say it’s the best I’ve used.

Bought these as I needed wide rollers to make the waterproof paint job on the roof as quick and easy as possible. Very sturdy and well made, worked perfectly attached to an size adjustable roller head and beush handle.

You need this for painting a ceiling. It makes the process so much quicker. I also used it for painting walls but it’s a bit heavier than a normal roller so it was more tiring to use on the walls. I had no problems with the roller cover coming offit screws in right. If you’ll be painting indoors soon, this will help.

Just the job, made painting our ceiling much more easier and combined with the Hamilton medium pile 12inch roller. Made a massive difference, better application, strong and durable. Well made
