Works well for applying and buffing polish. 10inch pad with offset rotation makes Iight work of large surfaces resulting in a great shine. My approach to polishing a mid sized SUV used 75% of 2.5ah battery. Supplied without a battery so bit expensive if you are buying both.

I used this today to put the polish on my T roc, which I wiped of most of before using the buffer to finish of, then did the same with the polish which I buffed up to a deep shine, easy to use, it never stalled on me even with pressure. The bonnets are a bit fiddly at first but got easier with use, also could of probably done the whole car with one 4ah battery but was down to one bar and slowing down, only used 1 bar on second battery, I spent more than 4 hrs doing the car. I’m pleased I brought this and not an electric one as its very easy to use.

This is my third Ryobi battery buy, including the lawn mower. They are all superb and easy to manageeven for a seventy old widow like me! I am seriously considering the hedge cutter.

Easy to use especially with a 1.5ah battery as its not to heavy have used on the 4 times now on 2 cars and can see a better shine even when using waterless wash and wax, a lot quicker cleaning and polishing the wife’s 7 seater.
Can be a bit awkward getting the pads on and off just take your time and make sure there on correctly

If you have Ryobi batteries already this is a great little machine! After cleaning car with Williams waterless wash I used the Ryobi buffer to do a final polish to liven up the paint work on my car! The tool itself us very easy to use and pretty light to hold and did a fantastic job in a very short space of time! I found it didn’t need a lot of pressure at all just let the weight of machine do the job at hand! It does all the large areas with ease but you will need to still use a define chamois cloth around bumpers and tricky area’s!

Easy to use buffer that I use for adding/buffing wax on wood and furniture. As it’s a battery powered lightweight buffer, it shouldn’t be used with too much pressure but let the weight of the battery to do the job. Otherwise the motor will struggle and the buffer spin will slow.

Does the job I bought it for , to polish the slab sides on a Motorhome , with no curves of edges as such with the potential to rub through the paint. Only negative I’ve experienced is that getting the cloths over the buffer pad is not the easiest thing I’ve done but with a bit of perseverance they git on . Using a 5ah battery with it seems to give us about 2 hours use

Purchased as a gift but did borrow when treating my own car to the annual deep clean and polish – pity the recipient was willing to do it for me – but he has agreed it has done an excellent job on his car, camper and a couple of neighbours cars too (the benefits of furlough)

I previously had a corded buffet and when polishing a car the Cord always got in the way and could mark areas I had polished. As I have several other Ryobi one plus devices this one made sense. A 2.4ah battery is enough to polish a whole car and does not add too much weight to it.

I cannot imagine anyone use this in a professional detailing shop, but it helping a lot for home use if you don’t have a garage with AC. You just need at least 3 4AH batteries to polish a car.

Works great, easy to use, although the cloths are very tight and not that well made so I bought extra cloth covers from another maker however the machine it’s self works well and has enough power.

Really nice tool to use. Not too heavy and enough power for the job.
With a 4Ah battery, it seems to go on for ages. Even with the small batteries you get a good 20-30 minutes of run time.
I bought it with these Kent Car Care GKEQ8009 Clean, Buff and Polish Pad Set – 8 Piece Set – white/blue/beige pads and it all works a treat.

Very good buffer. A complete charged 1.5Ah battery will do the whole car. Wish it could have a smaller brother to do small parts, but so far hand and microfilter towel for the small and unreachable areas.

Excellent product. I have used this on three occasions and have found it to work like a dream. Saves on all the effort required when doing this job manually and it does it in a fraction of the time. It certainly makes waxing your car a pleasure!

I brought the buffer to replace my old one. I received my buffer to-day and polished the bonnet of my car and was overwhelming by the result. It’s brilliant so I will go to say one of the best buffer’s on the market. Well done for a excellent tool , plus with the 4amp battery lasts a long time .
