Very comfortable upon first trying them on. Felt as though I could easily go for a long hike straight away. Definitely like this brand. Going to use these to run in the woods and do some fall hunting in. Definitely happy for the purchase and will buy again.
Achet pour courir sur terrain calluteux fait bien l’affaire. Bon soutien de la voute plantaire. Attention, neuf parat troit a l’avant pied mais a va lacher…J’ai 39,5 au pied. Ma pointure chaussures courir ,dans le pass , tait 40 et 1/3. En Salomon le 40 et 2/3 est parfait.

Soffro di tallonite e quindi piede delicato per quanto riguarda la calzata delle scarpe…
Ho provato qualsiasi marca…
E anche i modelli precedenti Salomon erano buoni….
Ma la 5 di un altro livello….anche da nuove appena si provano aderiscono al piede ottimamente….
Per un anno non le ho praticamente tolte….fino a finirle quasi….e ricomprarmi queste….
E di chilometri per i monti….arenili…argini e fauna in generale ne faccio a migliaia
I understand these shoes may not fit people with wide feet and for that… hope you find a decent alternative.
I am on my 3rd or 4th pair of Salomon Speed Cross shoes. First pair was quite different than these but was impressive enough to compel me to buy replacements.
First off – these are flexible soles and may not be best for long treks. That said… my hikes are usually 6 miles or less and for that purpose they excel. Super soft soles are very grippy in everything from sand to loose shale to mud… when new. BUT.. these will wear out quickly on pavement and concrete. So don’t wear them to go shopping or for fashion. The soles will quickly become smooth on hard surfaces.
I am no longer a trail runner (maybe just a little sometimes at 60 YO) but I think these shoes would be excellent for those that are. When new.. the shoes are very confidence inspiring in all terrains. Maybe a bit of a luxury purchase but if you dont care about color you can get a good price on these.
Size runs true. Expect Medium width.

They are very comfy, not to heavy and very robust and waterproof. Ideal for other field sports played on muddy grass pitches, hard surface or astro pitches.
Despite being advertised as a Gore-tex walking shoe, it is fell running shoe with some weather proofing. There are mesh panels in the upper and the tongue is loose, not connected seamlessly – your feet will get wet.
Having said that, they offer great support and look fantastic in the dark grey.
J’ai adopt les Salomon speedcross il y a longtemps elles sont lgres d’excellente fabrication avec des matriaux efficaces.
En plus elles sont plutt jolie.
Idale pour la course mais aussi la marche et c’est mon cas.
Il y a des demi tailles tout le monde trouvera chaussure son pied !!!
From having owned a similar model, make sure you use them for trail running only. If you use them for road running you will lose the studs very quickly

From the first this to the last step these have been perfect, not a single
Blister I went a half size up on these as I was told the toe box is tight,
And it is but is a supportive way and does not cause discomfort.. I do a lot of running so have wide feet and these were fine.. the grip
Is amazing never fell
Once .. the upper isn’t as supportive as a boot or firmer shoe so if you have weaker ankles maybe not for you I sprayed
Mine with a water proof spray before use the pull string to tighten the show worked
Fine for me just remember the socks you wear as important as the shoenot for walking on tarmac or paths, 100% for the beaten track.. very pleased with these and would recommend..

Comfortable fit very rigid bottom to protect my feet from protruding rocks and stumps. Great grip and traction on loose soil in the woods. Love them. Would definitely buy more.
Pricey but worth it. These are very comfy, light, supportive and offer great grip on the fells. I bought half size up from normal as my previous Salomons were on the small side. These are probably a quarter size smaller than I expected.

Most durable and comfortable running trainers i have ever had. Had speedcross 3, 4 and the 5’s do not disappoint. The quick lock laces are brilliant. Worth every penny spent.
Great shoe.. my only thing is 3 days after i received them the price dropped $40. No way to get that price according to Amazon rules.
Previous I had version 4 of this shoe (red colour) the only difference I can see with 5 is it’s black 🙂 and the grip depth is a little deeper (perfect for the Grizzly race in Devon) super comfy, easy draw string laces. Looks cool in black, my go to fast running trail shoe

I’ve worn these a few times now, at first when trying them on I thought they were a bit tight, but soon as I went running in them, I realised they were just super snug and supportive, with great grip on wet muddy grass they look cool too
Fit great, super comfy, super light, rugged tread although I’m not convinced that the rubber chosen will hold up long…I only returned these as I realized they are more for a speed trail run than a light and fast backpack shoe. Waterproofing looks good. The footbed is a bit narrower than I like for stability, but frankly if I were just to need a shoe for trail running on rugged trails, I’d run these for sure. Pretty good protection for toe/heel.
They’re good quality just a bit on the large side I’m size 6 these come minimum 6. 5 and I can notice the difference I use them for mountain biking they’re not as good as salamon lab which I also use and prefe
Never had a shoe with a sole like this, big curve to support the bridge. Fits perfectly, v clever design. I would not recommend to people with wide feet – they’re narrow.
