This was a gift to a member of our family. It is very lightweight but seems to be made from resilient material. Not been used yet, but would expect it to live up to Samsonite’s reputatio
My previous and next size up Samsonite Lite survives after 19 years but a small tear is starting on one of the rubber external hinges. Hence my purchase of this one, albeit one size down. It’s smart, quite big enough for my needs. – I always fill a suitcase rather than just take what I really need! – beautifully light and easy to manoeuvre. Very pleased. Cheap? No. But you get what you pay for.
Amazin case , very light snd strong , have a black for about 6 years and it’s still like new so we got another for myself!!
Samsonite has always been on the pricy side. But this case is very light weight and spacious. It glides, very easy to use, especially if you have more than one case to move. The colour isn’t what I would call gold! Would definitely recommend if you don’t mind spending the cash. Wait for the reduction offers, had it 100 cheaper!
Bit Expensive, but very light and Manoeuvrable. Probably not the strongest or most durable. Ideal for holidays when you want to make the most of your baggage allowance.
It is the lightest hand luggage they have. Haven’t used it yet but given I have 3 large samsonite cases I’m assuming it will be fine.
No matter what surface you have to wheel it over, this suitcase is a champ. I have taken it halfway around the world and to Europe dozens of times. I can pack a lot into it, since it is so light, and not exceed my airline’s weight capacity.
The only suitcase light enough and strong enough in the marke
Super light and works wonderfully on 4 wheels. Time will tell if it’s durable enough but first holiday down and happy. Will probably buy a second to go with it.
Just the right size that you can use it on your own or as the main larger case for two people travelling.
Easy to manoevour, sturdy and feels so much lighter than expected
It is light but the zip came off just after 3.5 months of light using, just using for domestic trips in the uk. I did not even managed to take it on the plane! Very weak zip, comes off so quickly. It says that you cannot return just after 1 month. Quite appalling, considering
that it should last years.
Amazon allowed to return and refunded swiftly. It is a lovely luggage and works well.
Such a great hard suitcase that weighs next to nothing , really easy to use , pull along , the wife always nabs this case now as she can get so much more in it while still sticking to her 20 kg luggage allowance. Stay goodbye to xs luggage charges
Was a bit dubious when it arrived. Spent a lot more than I usually would as wanted a good case and I felt a little flimsy….but I was wrong. It’s done a fair few trips to various places round the world now and is strong and secure.
Prompt delivery and well packaged. A wonderfully light four wheeled suitcase to match our other two in different sizes. It’s very robust and if it takes a knock in transit the dints just push out. It helps being able to pack each side of the suitcase separately with one side having a zipped lining enclosing your clothes and the other having two elastic straps. The wheels run very smoothly. Expensive but worth the money.
Already have one of these, so brought this for my husband as he loved mine, easy to handle and got a dent in the corner from our last trip, The baggage handler at Heathrow showed us how to just hit it from the inside and it popped back out as good as new. Brilliant capacity, holds a lot more you think. Pre covid spent 3 months travelling around Australia & New Zealand, planes, trains, ferry and hired cars and both our suitcases performed well and are in perfect condition looking forward to their next trip.
After a lot of comparison shopping this is definitely the lightest hardshell on the market at the moment and the petrol blue is a very nice colour. The Curve material does seem less ‘hard’ and more bendy than heavier cases so will be interesting how it handles a very long haul flight. Even packed with Xmas presents and more shoes than I should really take it still weighs only 17 kilos so far, well below the 23kg airline limit. Yes at over 200 it is expensive for a suitcase but I got it for nearly half the price on the Samsonite & most other sites. Unfortunately I had a lot of issues with delivery, with it not even dispatched on it’s original expected delivery date, and was getting very anxious with my flight looming that it would not arrive int time. Luckily it did but do allow more time than the Amazon site says – it arrived 2 days late but that was with a lot of chats & calls chasing it and getting promises it was being fast tracked.
This high end suitcase has been used 3 times and the zip has broken. I’d like it replaced who do I need to speak to as Amazon say its not them and they do not list Samsonite on their manufacturer list. very unhappy customer.
Much more than I would normally pay but a dream to use, so lightweight and manoeuvrable. I don’t regret a penny of the expense it made my journey so much more pleasurable.
This is by far the best cabin-sized case I have ever bought. Sleek design, great quality, easy to manoeuvre and light. Great product and fits well into the cabin space. Well worth the price tag.
I bought this suitcase four weeks ago and took it abroad on holiday I already own a cabin size and a larger size case of the same type and I rate them 5 star. They are incredibly light and easy to manoeuvre especially good for me as I have some mobility problems. Very strongly recommend them !
This replaced an old (1987) Samsonite suitcase and so I noticed a huge difference. Twice the volume and half the weight. It’s an excellent product, as one should expect from a market leader. I was a little concerned about the potential vulnerability of the castors but I can only hope that they stand the test of time. I have good reason to say this because someone managed to damage (break a corner off) an integral, moulded foot of my old hard shell Samsonite case despite a very low profile.
Very light and strong with excellent wheels this case has made our 4 months of travel so much easier than our old case. Being the larger size there’s plenty of room both in the zipped up side and the open side which has restraining straps.
Arrived super quick , is VERY light , and seems quite flimsy … but not had a chance to use it yet , so time will tell . I guess for the money I was expecting something quite luxuries, but then you are paying for the lightness of such a large suitcase…. I do expect it to last though !
I had the older version of this case for just over ten years. It quite literally traveled the world with me, and wore more battle scars than any case I’ve ever know. Various airport baggage handlers had tried their best with it, and sometimes I retrieved it from baggage carousels with huge dents that would just push out. It had a great life, achieved amazing airline miles and looked fantastic.
Then one day, packing up to return from the US, the handle jammed. It would go all the way in, but not pull out. The mechanism had broken, given up. It was no longer possible for me to trundle my suitcase in any easy way, and sadly I realised that it was time for it to retire. He’s not been dumped, just relegated to the loft as storage.
So this lite-shock is the replacement. It’s been to the US, Belgium and Dubai so far. Just as good as the old one – but with one massive improvement: Silent wheels!
Our first trip is first next week so to early to review the suitcase itself but from what we can see it meets our expectations in full and we are very pleased with the delivery.
Acurate description and a very quick delivery, Product what i expected from the Samsonite range, i personally would not use any other suitcase had my last Samsonite for 15 years and still in good condition only bought a new one because of weight issues with airlines.
The suitcase is perfect. Very light!
Only thing I would have hoped is that there are inside covers in both side. Now there are only belts in one side. Otherwise it is very good!
Light weight, robust and of good quality. I travel extensively and this suitcase is ideal for anyone who wants a peice of luggage that is both practical and reliable. The order through BritishBoardway was efficient and timely.
Amazing suitcase! Very light and fast. The quality of the Samsonite products is irreprochable. The only fact is that where it has bumps on the front, and travel a bit it will scratch just a little, but anyway it is a very good luggage and this is the main reason for using it.
Beautiful suitcase. Took it on long haul and came out of that process with no visible marks or knocks. I believe this is down to quality of the product. Easy to maneouvre on the four wheels and light as air when empty!
As a frequent flyer having a durable and light weight suitcase helps makes business travel that little bit easier. After owning this suitcase for the past 3 months I am happy to say this is an excellent product. Being extremely lightweight I find it very easy to manoeuvre around, having 4 wheels really does make a difference. Even after 4 round trips from the UK to Asia since owning it, apart from a very small & minor scratch my case still looks as good as new. The 69cm size might be a little two small for say a family holiday but for up to a 10 day business trip I find there is just enough space for everything I need. I would definitely recommend this case to both work colleagues and friends.
This large size case weighs only 2.3kg compared with 4.4kg for a similar sized Samsonite case I bought 12 years ago. I was worried that it might not be robust enough until I saw the videos on YouTube. Easy to lift and manoeuvre. I have taken it on one trip so far with no problems except usual scuffing from airport baggage handling.
