New TV purchased to link up with Sky Q.
Very good product, with the usual smart features built in.
Comes with standard TV remote and a Smart remote.
Easy to assemble out the box, just make sure that you put the legs on the right way.
Remote is a little weird to use,I ended up buying a universal remote for it(simpler to use than the one provided) that’s my only gripe.apart from that can’t fault it gave it 5 stars
I bought this for our conservatory and hung it on the wall. This is a fantastic piece of kit and has a really good picture, I bought this for 699 so would highly recommend for that price.
his tv is even a bit old fashioned these days but I dont like many of the modern functions which mean that you have to sign the tv up to the internet with services you might have to pay for this is a good tv with a good picture
We’re very pleased with this TV. Easy to set up, great quality at an affordable price.
We wanted to get streamed content that our old model didn’t do but didn’t want to pay silly money
This is perfect at 320
Great TV. Good picture and sound quality. Came with two remotes. The standard Samsung one and then a smaller all black more Apple TV like one. The Smart features are great also. Netflix, Apple TV, Disney+, Now TV all work seamlessly. Samsung TV is also a great addition with many streaming channels for free including music, video, movies, news etc. all round a great product.
Great value for a samsung tv, BUT it lags sometimes. Sometimes it acts the dumb tv .
When on Netflix or using ps5 and the xbox x it’s to dark some games you can hardly see. And iv put full brightness on tv and game console and in the game its to dark to play certain games
There seems to be 2 dark strips about 3 to 4 ins in from each side iv ordered a cleaner to see if this will take it away .They are very light but can see it with a light background
I had a Hisense TV where the picture quality was really poor. I managed just over a year with it, but then had to buy a Samsung based on my daughter’s TV.
I really cannot tell you how much superior this TV is in every aspect. Its like chalk and cheese, so much so that I am beginning to think my Hisense had a fault.
The Samsung is so clear and sharp its as if the film which the tv shows and film companies use has been changed to the next standard of quality.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another or recommend this TV to anyone who will listen.
Our experience of the delivery personnel was excellent. Their pre-delivery contacts were perfect and they handled the package with appropriate care. There was no external packaging damage and no apparent internal damage.
However, the small remote device that comes with the TV is almost useless. Luckily, we had a redundant Samsung remote belonging to an older TV, that, with minor adjustment, works perfectly with the smart TV.
Overall am happy with the TV. Good (not perfect) picture quality and sound is better than my previous LG. I find the operating system quite slow at times which can be frustrating. Considering the price bracket, I would recommend the TV.
We bought to replace our aging Hisense TV and have to admit the screen quality is astounding, however the sound quality is some what disappointing. On the old TV we didn’t experience the same kind of issues where the music was too loud and the voices were too quiet. Now having to fork out more money to buy a soundba
Good value for money, easy to set up and install. Picture is perfectly adequate at this price point. Sound quality is on the thin side but that’s normal at this end of the price range – it seems the expectation is you’ll shell out for a soundbar at some point. Happy with the TV, and I would like to express my solidarity with all striking Amazon workers in Coventry and all of those who see fit to join them.
Great price and if you have a Samsung phone it can link to it and it had more tech inside than I realised!, has all the big apps built in and then the one remote it comes with can control the xbox and bluray without having to spend an hr to link it up . Its real simple and straightforward but the Internet browser was a surprise so the tv now does it all except gaming which the xbox does . So well worth the money.
My initial impression was one of disappointment as the picture was far too dark
After a bit of research I went into settings and turned off all the energy saving modes which resulted in a picture which was excellent for its price range.
I have a Sky Q UHD package but still find the 1080p to be my goto setting as the picture offered on this gives a vibrant and enjoyable viewing experience.
Bought it twice, first piece came damaged in the middle, didn’t even notice till turned TV on, but refund went really well and bought another same one and its great, love i
This is an excellent TV for the price, with an awesome picture, especially on streaming services, which is what we watch most of the time. I read lots of professional reviews online first, all of which rated it very highly, and I wasn’t disappointed. There is quite a bit of setting up to do and I did have to tweak some of the settings to get the best picture. At first the picture was too dark, especially on Amazon Prime. It seems this is a particular problem on Prime. I got a much better picture by switching off the “Brightness Optimisation”. We also didn’t like the “ultra real” effect you get with 4K LED TVs. Switching to “Filmmaker Mode” solved this. Sound quality is OK, but we use a soundbar anyway. I particularly like the two remote controls which come with the TV. There’s a traditional remote with lots of buttons: I used this at first to set everything up, including controlling the BluRay player and the soundbar. Once everything was working I switched to the smaller remote which has only the most essential buttons but looks and feels more refined and has a better “click” to the buttons than its big brother. Watching terrestrial TV is fine as well, though not as good as streaming services. We’re not gamers so I can’t comment on its quality there.
All in all, a great TV and a bargain.
The Tv is good clear picture and good quality sound for my Elderly Mother but a few things to note should state the measurements of the support legs as had to go out and buy a new tv cabinet that was a metre long
Also you need the second remote to set up don’t download the Samsung app takes too long once you set up just using free view is easy
I bought this to upgrade from a 10 year old Samsung TV. The picture is good when it’s still or on slow moving scene. However I have noticed significant motion blur and seems to really struggle unless it’s in movie or filmmaker mode which does t seem nearly as clear and vibrant when set to standard or dynamic. Might need to fiddle with the settings but I don’t feel like I this acceptable for a new 2021 tv
So not the bes
It’s a lot of good tv for the price- but I agree with another reviewer that the images around the edges are not as perfectly, eerily clear as Samsung is known for. Most annoying is that there is no way to load freeview without buying a box, and I was sucked in by an incorrect Q and A answer before I bought saying it did. So what you get is a computer basically, and I can watch my Netflix , prime and iPlayer as expected but it’s about 7 clicks to choose and set playing a programme that way. What I wanted, is all the familiar free to air channels, in a logical row, accessible by default- not after 7 clicks, to surf on eg bbc channels, itv channels , sky news channels , C4 CHANNELS, bbc world news. The “Samsung tv plus” channel set up , is a list of unheard of, loser channels , that is just a mess. On the plus side, the Amazon 75 all-in wall hanging and big box takeaway service is outstanding , the guys were great – and the likes of curry’s and John Lewis charge 125.
It’s a really decent TV that will not make you break the bank. It can’t cope with HDR. We had to turn it off on the Fire stick as it was affecting the picture quality. It’s a good TV to put in the bedroom for some night time watching. You get what you pay for: If you’re looking for a high quality living room entertainment you will need to invest a bit more money.
I’ve always thought Samsung TVs were the best after my very own first tv purchased was a Samsung and lasted 10yrs from my living room then on to my sons room when I purchased a sharp tv on deal. I never liked it. I upgraded my son to a Samsung and thought it was so much better and finally had the spare cash to update to a Samsung for the Living room. The quality is by far better. The apps available is brilliant. We now have access to prime and Disney plus which we didn’t with the sharp tv. The picture quality and sound is great. It did take a bit of getting used to the 4K ultra but it just seems normal now. The remote is easy to use and even comes with a smart remote which just has less buttons but does the same thing. All the apps people use day to day are all available. Prime, Netflix,Disney plus, Apple TV, YouTube, rakuten tv. Even has a comedy channel. Very easy set up. Signed into all my apps with my iPhone very easily. I won’t go back to another brand of tv again.
