Quality samsung phone case, got it cheap on offer, happy.
Good quality screen protector. Easy enough to install. I was concerned at first as there was a small crease from where I applied it, but this completely disappeared after 12 hrs. Likewise a small bubble that came when applying it has also disappeared.

Fits like a glove and the leather finish is really nice. It’s not the slimmest case I’ve used, however the very slim ones don’t have the soft lining so your phone ends up scratched due to dust etc getting inside. This one is still pretty slim and sleek though amd should keep the phone in good condition. The side buttons are really good, just like using no case. Camera lenses fit nicely, and actually better with the case than without (without, the lenses stick out so can’t lay the phone flat, they side nicely inside the case). Worth the money I’d say.
Well made and offering good protection for the phone if dropped. Paid 17 for the case against say 8 or so less if I’d wanted a non branded one, but this is the business and only what you would expect from Samsung to compliment their own phone. Would recommend.
The case has a nice feel to it and was much better than I was expecting, after reading other reviews. Paid a lot less than the retail price, which was a bonus. So far, I am really pleased with the case.
Lovely feel, good quality, vgood grip, looks good and strap at back is great. The only way this could be bettered and would leave the rest of the market standing, would be to add a camera lens sliding cove
One of the easiest screen protectors to put on IF you watch the video. There’s no need to align yourself when you have the included adapter that aligns it for you. I don’t know how people are struggling with this protector. It’s their own fault for not following basic instructions. This is the best feeling screen protector I’ve ever had. A very nicely built case that covers cameras so they don’t stick out any more. Very pleasant to touch and appears as solid as my wife’s Apple leather case. I’m positively surprised by Samsung!
The only negative is that if you take your phone to a sandy beach, it will be tricky to clean without causing scratches. I count it will last maybe a year before I need a replacement.
Strong protection all around the screen. I use Spigen lens protectors and they fit perfectly in this case. For someone who goes hiking and biking regularly this case is perfect. Dropped a few times in the nature (while hiking) and so far so good. The hook is useful if I want to attach a cable. Good grip around the sides. Perhaps a little bulky for city use but perfect for my outdoor requirements.
Perfect case only wish samsung did something with the accessories.
Offers full protection for your phone, nice and slim and good quality, wish they’d fit a magnet to hold the screen closed though.

I had read some mixed reviews about this wallet case. However, it is of very high quality. I really like the Smart View feature, which allows you to see the time and any notifications you have without having to open the wallet. While the case looks pretty solid, the wireless charging works perfectly. There’s only one thing I’d change or add: a magnet so the cover stays in place when you’re on the move.

Easy to put on, gives good protection all around. I needed some protection for the screen, and I didn’t want a screen protector. The small access hole in the top right as you look at the phone allows you to answere the phone without opening the flap.
Although this product is on the higher end of the spectrum in terms of price, I can confirm so far the clear case hasn’t starting oxidising like many other cases which end up looking yellow. So for that reason I would say its excellent value for money
Have always bought Samsung cases for all my devices so when I was looking for a case for my S23 Ultra this was the one I bought and it is perfect, obviously it does not present the level of protection the more rugged ones do but honestly this adds minimal bulk to the already sleek phone! Very happy with my purchase.
The feel and texture of the case is very tactile.
I’ve used these on my last two phones. They are a great cover. They fit the phone very well leaving enough room to use a screen protector as well as the case
This review is for the Samsung Rugged Gadget Case. This is my 2nd S23 Ultra case, initially I got a Smart View Wallet case (usually get the LED, but there isn’t one for the S23); however the Smart View was very disappointing.
The Rugged Gadget Case is very substantial, it is thick and feels tough; it certainly makes the phone feel bigger. Overall, the fit of the phone in the case is good, but the edge of the screen is clearly visible both top and bottom (see photos), which ruins the aesthetic a little. The case looks rubbery, but it isn’t, it is very hard (and solid) plastic which can feel a little slippery in the had.
The attachments fit on the back very securely on a bayonet type mount; both the card holder and grip mount are easy to fit and remove, but remain very secure on the case in use. The grip can be used as a stand, in both portrait and landscape, and works very well. The grip also offers a nice feel of security when you hook your fingers through it. The card holder will just about accept 2 cards and holds cards securely.
The buttons work very well; they have a nice bit of a ‘click’ in use and don’t need too much pressure (unlike the Smart View Case). I’ve used ‘Google Wallet’ with the phone in the case and it worked fine. so no probs with NFC. I don’t use wireless charging so can’t comment on that.
So far I’m happy with the case; its not my ideal case (I’m really a wallet style case person), but it’s comfortable to use, is functional and will hopefully provide good protection for the phone. I look forward to other attachments becoming available, especially something to fit it to my tripod, we’ll have to see what Samsung produce.
When I bought mine there was a 29% discount in the Samsung store on Amazon, which brought the price down to a reasonable level, I don’t think I’d have bothered at the full 54 that is the normal price.
Good case very light excellent fit .downside the window on front have to be careful of damage to screen .Full coverage on front would be 100%better as in led type of samsung case.
Honestly speaking, I was hesitant about paying so much for a case as never used an official samsung case before. However after having it on my phone for a few weeks now, I can say it’s definitely worth it!
The strap feels nice and is comfortable (I have tiny hands so the grip didn’t need adjusting) and is great as it spans nearly the entire od the back of the case vs buying an attachment to put on which is usually smaller
I dont think I would have gotten on with the white one as anything white is prone to stains or marks (and based on the tinting of my light silicon samsung watch strap after 24 hours use, definitely would happen) but the black one is great, doesn’t even seem to get dust or anything stick to it and easy to wipe if needed
USUALLY I would buy protectors for my camera lenses, however they sit nicely in the protector and don’t protrude so feel no need for additional protection for them (they sit ever so slightly deeper than the case so don’t touch surfaces)
Dropped my phone a couple times from a standing height and no damage to the phone or the case either
Honestly couldn’t ask for more from a case! Definitely would invest in another one of these cases if ever needed to (know you can get a version for the folds)
Bought this to try even though I had read all the negative reviews, but I couldn’t find another case that I liked as I’d always used Samsung OEM cases.
When first opening this it nearly got returned, because of all the negative reviews I was expecting it to be poor quality and first thing I seen was that the case looked distorted.
However, after an hour I decided to get it back out of the packaging and try it, once I put my phone into the case it was perfectly flat, must have been the silicone holder that needed the phone in to stretch it perfect. Silicone is bendy so will show distortion when nothing is in it.
Phone fits amazingly well and the camera lenses are slightly countersunk, so it protects them, before this case they were catching on everything. I did have lens protectors on and these had to be removed as this case is such an exact fit that you cannot have anything else on there, though I’m confident it will be protected as I’ve never needed them on any other phone for camera lenses.
The case itself is smoother than previous ones, now that i’ve used it for a couple of days I prefer it, no fingerprints, no smudges and not slippery to hold, its got a nice grip and feel, I really like it now I’m used to it.
The window – yes it’s a cut out and not plastic, but I see the reasoning. You can fold the cover back and still use the camera, where previous covers I had to hold them open to take a photo. It looks like the cut out covers a small bit of the bottom lens when folded back, but this does not affect the photos, I think the lens centre must be above it or used for something I’ve not tried yet, but taking normal and zoomed photos I’ve had no interference from the cover folded back, you would not be able to take photos good quality if there was a piece of clear plastic instead of a cut out.
Also, it’s good that you can touch the screen in the cut out, you can have a mini screen saver on with the clock that moves, pre-set ones or your own moving clip, I took a screen capture video of my screen saver and used that so it matches. You can press to look at messages without opening the cover
Case closing — This does not have magnetic closing, it is just a flap like the negative reviews say, but there is a reason for that, there is now an S-Pen in the S23 Ultra and magnetic closing you would not be able to use the S Pen on or near the edges of the screen, so impossible to have magnetic closing. This keeps closed just fine and feels very protected.
Card Holder — This cover now has a card slot inside, its recessed so the card does not touch the screen, though it would not cause any scratching whatsoever if it did touch. It’s a nice addition from previous covers as now sometimes I don’t need a bag I just carry my phone with my debit card.
Overall after using it for a couple of days I love it. Pity at first I listened to negative reviews as I’ve spend more than this on 4 other cases that I won’t use.
Perfect fit, I was looking for cases that have the exact camera cutouts, rather than the one rectangle gap.
But I must say, the silicone doesn’t give much confidence about protection.
Great fit a you would expect coming from the phone manufacturer, was a little bit slippy in the hand out of the box but after a month of use feels better now. Expensive for what they are but then so is the phone, would buy again and recommend.
I carefully used a room that hadn’t been entered for a few days and tried not to kick up too much dust in the process. Followed the video instructions but used my own alcohol wipes (lens cleaners) to clean the screen first. The supplied plastic location jig worked well and the protector was only out by about 0.2mm (hardly visible) around screen top camera hole. No bubbles formed and neat around tbe edges. The two central horizontal lines (as mentioned by others) were visible but had disappeared the next day. Screen sensitivity and feel seemed the same as before. Overall I’m very pleased.
Great case that is smooth to hold yet offers good grip – I did have a Spigen case on my S23 Ultra previously but as it was so slippery I dropped my phone (no damage luckily), returned it and got this. It doesn’t quite cover the curved glass on the edges but looks great and will help with protecting your phone. For the price it’s great value, and much better value than a similar fruit brand charges
This was easy to fit, I followed the instructions from the official video on YT.
The tool was easy to use, there are sticky pads on it to hold the phone in place so you need to cover them up if you plan to use it again.
Alignment is perfect and there’s no bubbles or anything. I did however put it on as soon as I received the new phone, so the screen was already spotless.
Ordered the leather case and it’s really nice. Looks great and feels comfortable. The case itself is 5 stars but marked Samsung down, as I prefer the silicone case that I had on my S21 due to the grip but for some bizarre reason, they have decided not to offer this for the S23 versio
The screen protector went on fine with no troubles at all I followed the instructions and was great.
I don’t understand how people managed to mess the application up. It has left no bubbles or dust as I made sure it was completely dust free. There was a slight line of bubbles in the middle when first applied but just need to work the lines out in a few seconds it was all gone, so don’t be put off by these bad reviews they are obviously incapable of following instructions to this easy job
Not exactly lightweight at a little over 300g but a really good but seriously expensive phone.
