Bought this to accompany my new S23 Ultra handset
Was worried about battery life having read reviews on here and online. Allow the watch to fully update and optimize over a week or two and you’ll notice a big difference. Mine lasts approx 48 hours with fairly regular usage
Great watch decent battery good for tracking everything you need.
battery could be better but charges quickly and easily lasts 1.5 to 2 days with all additional settings turned on.

I took the leap and moved from apple to Samsung. I love the Samsung watch, all apps work well, easy to use. Battery is long lasting… and, the colour is lovely
Very simple to set up with the galaxy wearable app but you also need to download the Samsung health app to get full functionality from the watch. Also very easy to download and set up.
The galaxy watch 5 is, in comparison a much better unit. The operating system and navigation of the watch functions have been updated making for smoother, slicker functionality.
As many have said, the battery life is poor. My old watch gave me 4 days worth of battery life, the 5 is closer to 2. I charged it up yesterday and I’m down to 50% already.
I think the reason for this is that the watch 5 does an awful lot more than the 3. Blood pressure, ecg, blood oxygen features were not present on my old unit, so it’s understandable that it uses more power.
It fits very comfortably on the wrist and is simple to use
Only supplied with USB c charging cable. You need to buy a compatible adapter or wall plug to charge it up, unless you already own one. Samsung have really let themselves down on this. I understand that it saves around 10, but I think those people who can afford to buy the watch could scrape an extra 10 just to avoid the hassle of ordering another something from Amazon.
This is a lovely watch that does a lot. You won’t regret buying one.
Have owned for just over a week now, have had two previous none Samsung smart watches before and this far exceeds them for functionality and functions which are excellent, compared to my other watches and also mentioned on some other reviews the battery life is not great, probably only lasts at best two days before charging my last watch would last for over 5 days, however as still a novelty and constantly using the life should get better, all being said the functions far out way the battery life and full charge even from low only takes about an hour so not the end of the world, excellent bit of kit and still exploring so would very much recommend.
Now it’s all set up I love this watch, battery tends to last about 2 days and tracks everything I need it to. I previously had fitbit watches but this is so much better. Set up was a bit long and it took me a while to get it how i wanted it, but it was worth it now its set up. Would definitely recommend.
Love it . So many problems with the charging of my galaxy watch 3 I gave up this charges so quickly and not anywhere near as ofte
I was a little annoyed to find the charger has a USB C plug and all my sockets are USB A but easily fixed by buying an adaptor. A great watch with a lot of functions which I probably will forget to use but it works ridiculously well and looks great.
It’s pretty good in the fact that it can control Spotify Music on other devices and access a browser.
Love the colour and look. There are lots of useful features which are easy to navigate through. It has definately encouraged me to get more active! Happy customer.
The only downside is the actual Samsung Health app which isn’t accurate. I suffer from Bradycardia so my resting heart rate is 48bpm, and exercise heart rate is 65-68 bpm, unfortunately the Health app whilst walking gives my heart rate at 115-125bpm which is ridiculously way out. Don’t expect a fix from Samsung anytime soon.

But the ordering process gives no option to select which strap length is required so this order page will give you the small one.
Maybe you’re supposed to get both in the box? I didn’t.
Next gripe is the battery life. Charge it up before going to bed. Wear it through the night to monitor sleep. Out of bed for a 2 hour dog walk before breakfast and it’s whinging about low battery. This is maybe my fault. Switching off wifi and BT etc might make it last longer. Or battery saving mode? Would that switch of location etc. Need to experiment more with that. In any case. default setting runs the battery down very quicky.
Next thing. If you need reading glasses but don’t need to wear glasses when you’re out jogging then you’ll be able to see the time but don’t expect to be able to see any of the fitness detail without your glasses. Larger font makes no difference. It would be nice to see bpm, speed, distance etc without having to out my glasses on. I’m not blind, btw. My readers are just 2.0.
Maybe I’ll find a solution in settings or find a different setup I can download.
Apart from all that. It’s a nice looking watch. Feels well built. I like the rubber strap even though it’s a bit tight. As soon as you get it. Put it on the charger. Plug it into your phone. Answer a few questions and it’s all set.
I’ve only had it 24hrs. I’ll probably come back and add more review.
