Best Samsung watch I’ve had bought to replace a gear 2 and an active, very pleased with the health apps and also you can make and receive calls which I couldn’t do on the previous models
Love this, my old Samsung watch gave up the will to live and this was on a deal, synced easy enough and though bigger face than expecting I love it, can send texts and answer call and chat on it even when phone is in another room, better than I expected
This is great, it tracks everything really easily, and it’s easy to alter and edit the faces on the Samsung app. I use it daily, and charge it daily. But the charging is quick so it’s not off for long.
I have been wanting one for a while now and reading lots of reviews. The battery life issue came up a few times and I didn’t think much of it. After using it for nearly a week now I see why this is a hindrance. If you want to wear this watch through the day and to bed to record sleep, by the following evening it will need to be charged again. so in the week I have had it, it’s been charged 3-4 times. Luckily its a fast charge and done within an hour, just a slight inconvenience when there is cheaper on the market that last longer.
Very simple to set up with the galaxy wearable app but you also need to download the Samsung health app to get full functionality from the watch. Also very easy to download and set up.
The galaxy watch 5 is, in comparison a much better unit. The operating system and navigation of the watch functions have been updated making for smoother, slicker functionality.
As many have said, the battery life is poor. My old watch gave me 4 days worth of battery life, the 5 is closer to 2. I charged it up yesterday and I’m down to 50% already.
I think the reason for this is that the watch 5 does an awful lot more than the 3. Blood pressure, ecg, blood oxygen features were not present on my old unit, so it’s understandable that it uses more power.
It fits very comfortably on the wrist and is simple to use
Only supplied with USB c charging cable. You need to buy a compatible adapter or wall plug to charge it up, unless you already own one. Samsung have really let themselves down on this. I understand that it saves around 10, but I think those people who can afford to buy the watch could scrape an extra 10 just to avoid the hassle of ordering another something from Amazon.
This is a lovely watch that does a lot. You won’t regret buying one.
