Great purchase , easy to install and set up. Great sound and picture quality.
Very modern, but needs a young person to sort it out on my phone
Great value for money. Easy to set up and brilliant picture. Really glad I chose this one and delivery was super quick. Highly recommend
Minor annoyance, took a while to get it to connect to home wifi.
Picture quality good but very disappointed with the flimsy remote control. Very small and not good for the elderly with poor sight.
This brand is well known for TV. Don’t worry and go for it.
After my old Samsung TV had issues, I got this as a replacement.
The picture quality is amazing, really good HDR, the blacks are very deep and makes colours pop!
Got enough inputs to plug in my Xbox and bt TV box.
The menu and interface seem improved and smoother than before too!
It’s lightweight so ideal for hanging on a wall.
It’s a great tv and at an affordable price, so would recommend for sure!
The TV is good with good sound and good quality picture. The remote is tiny and feels cheap. The TV takes a long while to connect to Wi-Fi when turning on from standby.
I love everything about this TV. I’m a Samsung fun. Picture and sound just amazing. Very easy to set up. I bought a 50″ screen tv. Worth the price .
I bought the 75 inch and was not expecting anything great for the money it cost.
But to my surprise it’s a superb tv with great picture quality great smart features and great looking.
Overall a excellent buy
Excellent TV, superb picture quality and smooth motion. This easily compares to TV’s costing double the price in terms of the viewing experience. The only thing that could be a problem is that it only has 2 HDMI inputs which could be a faff if you have multiple peripheral equipment that you want to use. I have avoided this issue with an AV cinema receiver with multiple HDMI inputs, so everything is connected to that and in turn the AV receiver is connected to the TV. This is a great option as the TV uses smart tech to work in harmony with the receiver, adjusting the volume or turning the TV off automatically controls the receiver too. It’s a huge screen but not heavy considering the size and is quite happy attached to the wall on a basic wall bracket.
Other reviews have mentioned a delay with the remote control interacting with the TV which may be a bug that has been fixed or just a random issue with a few units. I have no delay or problems with the remote so don’t be put off by those reviews, it’s not an inherent flaw.
As it’s 4K it gets the most out of Sky Q and games and movies played on a connected PS5 look sharp and smooth, even during the most hectic of scenes.
I paid 699 when it was on sale but even at 799 it’s still a lot of TV for the money.
Unless you really need 3+ HDMI inputs, save your money and buy this one, or use the money you save to buy an AV receiver and you won’t even need the extra inputs.
I was a bit worried that the picture quality would be poor because of the size of the screen, but it is really good. The remote control is a bit of a jumble as there are a lot of buttons and they are close together, but it is ok. There are a lot of smart features for people who like that kind of thing, but I am happy with it.
Bought for my elderly dad. He is struggling with smallish buttons on remote but TV is quick to start and easy to use. Slightly Matt effect screen but for 300, not expecting the best quality.
The picture Quality is fantastic but the blacks need to be Blacker. Fantastic quality for the price and Jam-packed with smart features
Nice tv for the price, but the smart features can be quite slow sometimes they used a cheaper processor so therefore making it move quite slow through the apps .
The picture quality out of the box is dire with washed out blacks, little contrast and vibrancy. There are limited tweaking options available however it is possible by turning down the brightness, gamma and shadow detail to get a much better picture.
Build quality is decent with solid and stable feet. Not many input/output options but expected at this price.
he price is good with good picture quality. The SmartThing app doesn’t work well that it could not detect my WIFI following the instructions. I gave it up and used the remote control… and the next day I tried again the app suddenly works… haha… that’s why I gave 4 stars only.
Bought this as an upgrade from my old bush 44inch tv and honestly is great, I’ve only been having 1 issue with it so far and it’s to do with air play, every time i try to go the air play settings the screen goes blacks and wouldn’t connect to my phone, other than that it’s a great tv
Bought this to replace our old TV, read a few negative reviews about set up, and featuresnot sure what they were doing, but this took 10mins to set upin fact it does it on its own. You do not have to download any appSamsung say that you should use the apps if you want access enhanced features. I decided not to as I’m happy with my Prime, Netflix and Disney+ the picture in HD is so sharp, and for the price, this really is value for money.
Nice tv great picture only problems have is the legs on it are spread very far than most tvs so did not fit on my stand or table had to buys something new and over sized and seams like some smart features missing so casting ohotos from android is bit clunky but it has apple air play kinda weird but other than that its nice tv
Great stuff. Delivery went smoothly. TV has true 4k picture and great sound. You will definitely need 2 people to move the larger sets. I had 75″ and couldn’t move it at all, well over 40kg. Just a helpful tip, for 4k streaming you will need an above average internet speed, arround 20mbs is good. Access to the higher res stuff on Netflix will cost 6 more. If using Ariel tv the picture will probably look much worse compared to what your use to. This is because the res is the same across the board so on larger sets it will look more pixelated due to the image being stretched out.
Overall, dont let the bad reviews put you off. I was a little hesitant at first but so far no regrets. For the price you cant go wrong.
BE AWARE Although this tv is working fine the model number I received is not the model number I paid for , I contacted the company they replied saying although it’s a different model number it has the same specifications, just be aware if you like me you expect to get what you paid fo
Once we managed to get this brute onto the wall stand, it is a great TV with many extras our older (smaller) TV didn’t have. Is limited with the in/out sockets I am used to on TV’s and required purchasing new leads to cover these. I am using standard HDMI ? cables into music centre to enhance the audio. In all a good TV for the price and is a bit like being at the cinimas!
Great TV amazing quality everyone is impressed with its quality and immense size. only draw backs are it only has 2x HDMI ports and the spec for the distance apart the feet are is misleading it claims they are 49″ but when you install the feet you will find they actually spread to nearly 55″ between where the TV will sit which was nearly a major issue so beware you will need a substantial TV stand to put this on if purchased.
Great for the price I bought it when I was on the sale so even better. The picture quality is 4k and can really tell when watching 4k bits on Amazon prime. The menu could be better but again it’s functional and nothing difficult to use so don’t know what people are going on about. The sound is as good as they can get with such a small outline, having such a sleek design, but will probably look into getting a soundbar or something on those lines as well to get more rich sound but not necessary I just enjoy watching films and that. Would reccomend.
A very stylish TV that works very well. Picture quality is excellent and navigation is also very clear and easy to do. Not quite as easy to see the picture when not looking directly at the TV so in our small front room sitting on different sofas, one has to turn the TV slightly. Not sure if that’s just a quirk of this TV or TVs in general, although our previous TV seem to be easier to watch from an angle. Overall though, very happy with the purchase.
I was scared after reading reviews that I might receive a damaged tv but the package was received with out any damages the drivetrain guys moved the tv to my living room which is the last room in my house. It is a heavy TV and needs 2 people to set it up to avoid damage to the screen. I was happy that the tv was received without any damages. I was unhappy to know that this tv does not have Bluetooth to connect to my Bose speakers but I was easily able to connect my fire tv cube that solved two problems 1 Bluetooth connections to my speaker 2 better user interface
Bought the 50″ model for my parents last year and it is a good TV. This one (55″) is slightly newer software but fundamentally the same Samsung ecosystem. Straightforward smart features for the most part).
Main limitations for more ambitious home entertainment systems are that there’s only 2 HDMI inputs (easily enough overcome with a splitter), the only external audio output is digital optical (no 3.5mm), and the integration with external home assistant devices (in my case with an Amazon Echo Dot) can be a bit fiddly and limited.
The digital optical audio in particular is a little annoying as you can’t (as far as I can see) control the volume using the remote when using an external audio set up rather than the built in TV speakers. The built in ones are absolutely fine on their own for most folk though.
Make sure your TV console is wide and deep enough for the feet to sit properly on it if you aren’t wall mounting.
At this price, it’s not a bad option. Would have been better to spend a few more pounds though and get a more modern model. I bought this specific one since at the time most other comparable models were out of stock.
The most important feature – picture quality – is pretty good. Sound is of course worthless as with all thin TVs, so get some speakers. Smart features are laggy and limited and remote seems like it’s from the 1990s. The initial smart setup worked but was a bit long. The wifi worked well for a short while but soon the TV lost it and was never able to connect again (I’d had to factory-reset it if I wanted it back).
Since I’m using this as just a screen with external sound and streaming, the lack of those doesn’t bother me a lot.
Also has very few connections but again, to be expected at this price.
NOTICE — When connecting sound via Optical, there’s no volume control from the TV, so make sure your device has its own volume adjustment.
We went for the 50″ Samsung in the end purely because it was the maximum that would fit in the space we had allocated.I had initially picked the 55″ but there wasn’t room.Something to take into account is most TV’s seem to have dropped the central stand. In my view this is a mistake the TV placement has more flexibility with the central stand. Our TV only just fitted the existing unit due to it having 2 v styles legs. The picture is clear and crisp and the sound has good base. The remote however is cluttered and to small. The directional buttons are to close to a couple of dedicated channel buttons and so these are pushed easily in poor light,so annoying. Also no dedicated YouTube button.Value for money 5 stars but I will be in sourcing a learning remote unless Samsung do another versio
