I never leave home without one of these for my camera. They are very reliable, I have one that is at least 6 years old and has not corrupted once despite being used for wedding shoots etc. these are the only SD’s I use!

Great, I notice a difference between v30 and v90 in writing speed (like a second or so less, after i press stop record) and i find the video cleaner on same log3 settings and it felt last night, i could increase the iso more. Will have to test this more and make a video on it, so take this with grain of salt. both cards are extreme pro, same 128gb only v30 is a MICRO SDxc inside it’s adapter to be SD on camera canon R6 mark II. This one is NOT MICRO SD, as is also seen in picture (but if you’re not careful, you won’t) so you can’t use it for phone or gopro11. I use it on r6ii and laptop with built in SD reader. In the span of 32 months, when i bought v30, the price of v90 is the same, so its truly great how we’re able to get better and better stuff for reasonable price. Love it!

Good quality as always~only slight gripe is that the chance to buy 4 at a lower price would not come up on one purchase~it only permitted 2. Messaged the seller without any response.

Cannot fault the amazon prime delivery service, but i have my reservations of the card i bought. I always run a speed check when purchasing new cards to ensure it’s not a fake.

I am using a USB 3.0 reader (Lexar Pro LRW300U) and the software was Blackmagicdesign)

    Write Speed: 83.3 MB/s
    Read Speed: 92.0 MB/s

It does state ‘Upto’ 200 MB/s and give the setup i cannot be too critical.
Aside from the 108MB/s speed delta, it’s already been used on a job with no issue.

4.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't write the world on fire.

This card outperforms an sx11 v90 card that I bought to speed up exposures of birds in flight. The v90 has become very slow at landscape exposures, and the Scandisk is a dream in comparison. I think the main reason for the discrepancy is that although some higher quality cards are marketed for use in crop sensor DSLRS, the cameras’ technology cannot stretch to delivering.

I previously bought (and still use) Scandisk Extreme cards. I find the Extreme Pro has the edge on my other cards.

It’s not the top rated card they have but it’s working very well in my canon 90d. I had an old 8gb original extreme pro and it just doesn’t compare

As a photographer I need something that can handle burst shots this 128GB size SD card is more than enough room to store what I need with amazing write speed allowing me to keep capturing essential moments. Suitable for mid to high range camera’s this extreme pro range delivers great performance.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’ve gotten plenty of use out of this in my Canon R6 Mk2. It is fast and performs well to keep up with both regular and memory intensive actions and the 128GB storage is more than enough for thousands of high res RAW images.

This saved me a lot of time sifting through photos on the go. Plenty of space on the card so perfect for getting lots of photos on the camera. Easy to use, good quality and a fair price.

Shooting raw images on a mirrorless no problem. Fast speed when uploading on to my Mac, much faster loading speed of previews than lower versions.
Very happy with it and a great affordable price. I’m not an expert on SD cards, and haven’t tested it in burst mode but has been great for me, shooting Rae’s and 4K footage.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this SD card for use with my Nintendo Wii. It arrived exactly as pictured and works as described with decent read / write speeds (limited by the device I have plugged it in to).

After a few weeks of use, it still appears to be maintaining decent speeds and I’m really happy with it. It was quite affordable when I purchased it, and I may have to get another one at some point for another device.

I se these in my two Canon cameras, 6D and R6 and use fast shutter speeds and they have never failed, I take around 5000 photo’s a year in all weathers.

I recently purchased 5 of these 64gb cards, all for the incredible price of just 11 each. I couldn’t be happier with these cards, and here’s why.

For anything photography-related, these SD cards are an absolute dream. The combination of up to 200MB/s transfer speeds, UHS-I, Class 10, U3, and V30 ratings means that I can confidently capture high-resolution photos without worrying about performance issues. It’s a relief to know that I have the speed and reliability to capture all those special moments without missing a beat.

One of the standout features of this package is the included RescuePRO Deluxe software. It’s like having an insurance policy for my data. In case of accidental deletions or data corruption, this software has got my back. Knowing that my photos are safe and recoverable is a peace of mind that’s truly priceless.

However, it’s worth noting that for serious video work, especially 4K or higher resolutions, you might want to consider faster cards in the SanDisk lineup. While these cards are excellent for photography, video recording at the highest quality settings demands a bit more speed. SanDisk offers options to cater to those needs, so you can find the perfect card for your specific requirements.

I have two cameras. One takes UHS I cards and the other UHS II. As I’m transferring large video files, the speed for transfer is important and indeed the write has to match the 4K 60 the cameras can achieve.

This UHS I card isn’t much slower than the UHS II cards I use in my other camera, making the camera limitation somewhat moot. It’s been used for a couple of months now, constantly writing and transferring with no problems whatsoever. The Black Magic speed test puts it almost the same as a 240MB/s UHS II that costs quite a bit more.

Wherever space, time and power availability allow it, I use an Atomos field recorder with SSDs. These give me ample storage at very high data rates. However, there are often occasions where I just don’t have the time to set this up, or there isn’t any space for the Atomos, or (most commonly) where I am filming a long form live performance and don’t have access to power. With these cards, I know I can capture the entire performance at the highest resolution and data rate my GH5 camera will allow, and using a dummy battery with a power bank, the bettery doesn’t need swapping. I’ve not had any glitches with any of these cards and will continue to buy them going forward. Recommended.

I bought a SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO Class 10, U3, V30 SD card some time ago. I bought some UHS II cards recently because I have a camera that has those ports. After I tested my UHS II cards with H2testW I decided to test this one and my results were amazing – 91MB Write and 143MB Read. For a UHS I card I think these are pretty good figures.

This review isn’t for the present card but for the card that it replaced.
I use these cards for photography and this is the first card in over 20 years that has failed.
For some time the write protect tab has moved to the protect position and I had to keep resetting it, the tab eventually snapped off making the card useless, luckily I had saved my images to my computer first. I never use the write protect facility and I would personally prefer not to have it as I feel this is a weak point. I’ve always used SanDisk in the past and will continue to do so, apart from the last card I have found them to be very reliable.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is more of a reveiw for both the product AND amazon. And i dont often advise people on where to buy stuff.

The card is fast enough to do what needs to be done, a capacity that you shouldnt run out of space easily, unless you are going 100% raw and left your finger on the shutter button.

This comes with a 12month sub to sandisk software, cannot for the life of me remember what it is called, i think it is a recovery thing. Anyway, that was a bonus that popped into my head.

Buy this with confidence, i have bought a lot of memory cards over the decades, and it is a minefield, I got fed up of buying cards that were bogus, might say, lets say., 8gb on the card but only be a 2gb one. There are a lot knocking around, and sadly i have even had one on amazon.

Over the recent years, or decade, i havent had a bad one from amazon. Remember when buying that sometimes if it looks to good to be true, it probably is – like a 1tb card for 5. What i also so is always check the capacity is what it says it is, i dont think i would be allowed to put the name of the little program i use on here, but do a dr google search for memory card checker, its defaults to german so remember to select the english. I just run it and leave to give me the end report.

Thats not just advice for this one, this IS a genuine one, but for ANY, so many scammers out there.

Golden Review Award: 38 From Our UsersI’ve bought dozens of these Extreme cards over the years (95MB/s, 100MB/s, 170MB/s and now 200MB/s editions), so I know exactly what to expect. But what I didn’t realise until recently is that Sandisk’s SD card speeds are stated much higher than you would typically get, unless you own a very specific SD card reader.

Sandisk’s recent UHS-I (64GB and higher) cards now have “SanDisk QuickFlow Technology” in order to reach these faster speeds. If you do not own a SD card reader with this SanDisk QuickFlow Technology, you will struggle to see consistent speeds much above the standard SD UHS-1 read speeds – approximately 100MB/s (that’s about 90MB/s write speed). It shouldn’t matter what version of USB-C interface is used, since 200MB/s is the same as 1.6Gbps – i.e. still much less than the 5Gbps speed of USB 3.0 (aka 3.2 gen 1) and much less than the 10Gbps of USB 3.2 gen 2. Any USB-3 port should be fast enough.

Sandisk’s Extreme Pro USH-II USB-C reader (previously sold with these cards) does NOT include Quickflow Technology. The Sandisk Professional card readers that do have Quickflow have their own caveats (the one with a CF card slot can reach speeds of 170MB/s, the one without a CF card slot can reach 200MB/s but cannot read the additional pins from UHS-II cards). Google “SanDisk Quickflow Tech Brief” for clarification – because it’s a mess to understand.

I would also state that I’ve always bought my cards shipped by and SOLD BY Amazon. The seller is important – as you will always get the real thing. I would be wary of using any Warehouse versions as you don’t know who the original seller is. These Extreme and Extreme PRO cards have always been prone to fake knockoffs. The prices here also fluctuate a lot, so I always put the desired cards in my wish list and pounce when it drops.

I personally steer away from their Sandisk’s “Ultra” line, simply because I’ve had too many failures – something I’ve never experienced with the “Extreme” products. So the extra is worth it if reliability is a necessity.

I’ve had the luxury of dealing with Sandisk warranty support a few times (typically the SD card becomes ‘locked’ and cannot be formatted properly), and they have always been excellent to deal with. Just take a photograph of the serial number and fill out a form on their website. They usually send back a better card anyway.

    Hope that helps.

Addendum: My last order for the 128GB card was made in Malaysia. I found no difference in performance to the previous dozen cards I bought that are made in China. The “Made in Malaysia” indication is underneath the serial number in the same colour/font (instead of “Made in China” being embedded in the plastic).
