Used to bolster the internal ssd of the steam deck, does exactly what you expect it to. Will update if I have any issues but not had any issues with Sandisk products in the past.

Just a short review as this is quite straight forward.
The card was as it said, good value for the amount of storage I needed. Easy to insert and I’d recommend to anyone that is lacking in storage on any compatible devices

Easy to set up in the car and was ready to use. Can now record front and back whilst driving. Just have to connect rear reverse so can see whilst reversing with one clip onto reverse light bulb wire.

I recently purchased the 64GB flash drive and I have been happy with its quality. I have used it to transfer large amounts nearly at capacity a few times and have not had any issues yet. I recommend this flash drive if you are looking for a reliable and affordable option.

I bought this back in April 2022 for 20.99, and for me that makes this item pretty good value.

    The card has performed solidly.
I have not noticed any errors.

I use on my phone and have around 2,000 high resolution photos stored, and 30+ videos (including a couple that are well over 15-20 minutes long) on it, with still plenty more capacity remaining.
I also have a quite a number of documents and other data stored on this card too.

I use this card in my range of GoPro cameras. Works well with each setting and resolution selected. Fast read / write times.
The card reader was ok – not the best but will get you out of trouble if you forget your main card reader.

Usual high standard from Sandisk, I’m using it in a multitude of devices and all of them are working fine with it, nice SD card adapter included so you can use in normal size SD readers. Great value

Easy plug into favorite still going strong but full laptop.
Gives you instantly 1 terabyte of extra memory, 5 times what was available. Almost as fast as resident hard solid state disk.

The SD is perfect and recommended for the 4k on DJI Mini 3 Pro. Strongly recommend taking more than one if you lose the drone / fall in the water. You never know what can happen 🙂

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersPurchased this to upgrade my memory in my Steam Deck, and it works great. It’s definitely pricey but with so many low quality SD cards out there, i thought it best to pay a little extra for peace of mind. Glad i did too, as this is working great with my steam deck, and seems to load just as fast as when using the internal drive

After having issues with slower cards freezing the video recording and only recording Audio when filming in higher resolutions . I Updated the cameras firmware and all the other suggested fixes even tho the camera had been up to date already, it still continued to give issues on all my old memory cards which I Had carried over from my old Hero 4 Black … This card cured the problem And is also much faster at transferring the cards to my laptop for editing

No problem with the SD card at all but my package was supposed to include a free Rescue Pro deluxe software code. The package stated “see details inside” but there was none at all either inside or on the SD card (as a file). I was expecting an activation code or something and a download link. So a dropped point I’m afraid from me !

4.0 out of 5 stars No Rescue Pro software details included in my recent purchase despite it stating it was inside

In years gone by memory cards were massive and had very little storage capacity, nowadays we have these little gems with tuns of storage. I have this card now coming 2 years and it has never let me down. I have used it in my dashcams, computer, home cctv cam and now in my Nikon D5600 and it still as good as the day I bought it. When I bought this card the read write speeds were fantastic and over almost 2 years they have dropped. Giving how much this card has been used this is no surprise and I am still very happy to use this card every day in my Nikon. The read write speeds will vary depending on the equipment you use and the type of card reader and cable. My latest test shown in the images are for 256mb and 1gb read and write tests.
I wanted to review this item after a long time of testing and I can honestly say it’s well worth the buy.

Overall well worth the money and I would happily buy again but this one still works so I’ll wai

Just right but drops over the years

First of all, this is a genuine product. Make sure you buy from Amazon rather than other sellers on here to guarantee you get a genuine product as some other deals are not what they may seem

To get near the quoted speeds, you ideally have to get a genuine Sandisk card reader attached to at least a USB 3.0 port as other generic card readers may claim to be USB 3.0 or above but may transfer at USB 2.0 speeds instead which will only give you around 30-40ish MB/s read or write.

Not sure why I’m not getting read speeds of 170MB/s but probably the fact that the card is formatted as exFAT rather than NTFS and Windows seem to limit the read speed on all my external drives formatted this way, so either a limitation with my PC or Windows 11.

Either way, I’m happy with this card and I can assure potential buyers that this card is considerably faster than most available.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little card, genuine Sandisk product but with some minor caveats

First off, as usual good quality & great value for money. What can you expect when this card is arguably the best micro SD on the market.

The reason for my subject header is clearly no one has bothered to learn anything about computers before writing their review, it doesn’t matter if you have a 1,000,000gbps write speed on this SD card if your phone or computer can’t keep up. Your data is literally being squished in to a funnel when being transferred to this card.

If you’re going to get a computer SD card get a SD card not Micro SD and configure it as such no point getting yourself 100mbps write speed card when your camera on the phone you have doesn’t need it and compresses the data anyway.

The Sandisk Extreme Go Pro 64GB microSDXC Memory Card + SD adapter claims 170MB/s Class10 UHS-1 U3 V30 etc, and are nominal 64GB good speed devices with a fast interface. They are ideal for sending big chunks of data through snailmail in an ordinary slim envelope, and also where there is no local high speed interconnect between machines or devices.

They were clean of any clutter when first examined, but I always reformat new media to remove any possible Trojans etc. These are exFAT. I also always test them to check for speed and capacity, I had four but they were all about the same performance and I’ve only shown the figures for one of them.

H2TestW gave me an average write speed of 61.9MBytes/s and 16:22 minutes to write a whole chip, steady between 59 and 64 all the way through on all. However, last year I saw this test write between 120 and 125Mbytes/s on some 32GB SanDisk Extreme (not Pro) chips on this machine, almost twice as fast, so it is definitely the bigger chip slowing it down.

Read speed similar, at 65.0Mbytes/s and 15:37 minutes to verify the whole chip, and much slower than the 32GB which were about 142Mbytes/s.

Storage is shown as 59.4GB available on the PC, actually 63,830,622,208 bytes, plus 384KB (393,216 bytes) overhead when formatted as exFAT with 128KB default sector sizes. There were no bad locations on any of my samples.

The lock tab on the adapter is an essential extra safety aid for making sure I do not inadvertently erase or try to re-use a full card when doing transfers etc, even though I give each adapter a sticky label to identify it and write on each micro-SDXC.

As with all electronic chips and memory I am careful not to touch the contacts, so as to avoid finger acids corroding the very thin metal of the contacts and electrostatic discharge (ESD) damaging the chip. The ESD sort of damage is usually called ‘walking wounded’ where the chip seems OK for a while but is actually silently suffering and will eventually die. It happens, none of these chips last forever.

I have ignored the Sandisk RescuePro recovery system because I don’t know anything about its provenance and also because I already have an efficient system to back-up important data into raid storage at the end of each day.

Cannot fault the performance and value for money what you get with these SanDisk microSD cards. As a golden rule I will only purchase named brands of microSD cards for my projects (Raspberry Pi) and other uses like GoPro from Amazon as there are so many fake cards on the market being sold on other sites by cowboy sellers. I use a mix of Samsung and SanDisk cards of various storage sizes and cannot fault either brands.

The only additional benefit possibly with SanDisk is they offer you a one or two year Rescue Disk Pro software with their purchase. If you buy another SanDisk card within this time scale you can then reactivate and use the software again when your licence runs out instead of paying for a new licence when your old one expires if you decide to keep the software.

On a personal level I have only used the software once or twice in all the years that I have purchased and used the cards, but its still handy to have.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI highly recommend you buy scandisk memory cards, I am not sponsored by them etc I wish I was. I have had a mix of Samsung SD cards before and scandisk, I’ve had the odd problems with a few of my Samsung SD cards, not reading or being recognised by devices or the pc. However I’ve never had any such problems with any of the scandisk SD cards I’ve purchased. I highly recommend spending the extra money and buying the scandisk extreme pro, because it’s essential if you plan on shooting video especially 4K or slow motion 120fps! Any standard SD cards with a rating less then A2, U3, V30 will not work when trying to records 4K, 120fps slow motion of burst photo shooting as the memory of the SD card is just to slow. You definitely should buy direct from Amazon UK as always as if you have any problems they will immediately rectify it. Very good reliable SD card. P.s if you can hold on Amazon regularly puts these SD cards on daily deals with big discounts so unless you need it immediately hold off for an Amazon daily deal or prime day!

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI needed a fast and reliable micro SDXC card, and the decision fell on this model.
Up to 170 MB / s in reading and 90MB / s in writing and in addition a convenient adapter, very useful to insert “on the fly” the micro SD card inside the PC, included in the price.
Adapter that has a read / write protection lock on the side.
It is not one of the most economical cards (even if the price at which it is offered, considering the quality / price ratio, is excellent), but if you have the need to record 4K videos at high bitrate you don’t have much choice.
Clearly this card will be too much, if you record videos in HD (720) or Full HD (1080), in fact in this case head for the “Extreme” versions of the same manufacturer, other performances and with much lower costs.
In my specific case I will use it inside an INSTA360 ONE X, which records 360-degree video with resolutions up to 5.7K at 30fps, 4K at 50 and 30fps and 3K at 100fps for the more ‘slow-motion’ slow motion.
The bitrate reaches up to 120Mbps so it takes a card with out-of-the-ordinary performance.
The same manufacturer recommends cards with UHS-I V30 speed class.
When you buy a micro SD card for your video devices, carefully read these specifications for an optimal choice, without spending too much for a card with high performance but you won’t use it fully or, on the contrary, buy a card on offer but that will not allow you a speed of adequate acquisition and with consequent loss of frames and videos that are jerky.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably one of the best micro SDXC cards you can buy.
