I’ve been using it almost daily for over a year in my Nikon ZII camera, and I’ve never encountered any issues. It’s fast, especially with 4K video, and very reliable.
Cheaper and faster than xQD and this one works so well!! The last “cf express” card I bought from a different manufacturer I find it glitches and corrupts the files on a regular basis. This one I’ve had no issues with so far and it’s really fast to download the files.
After shooting lightning with a new mirrorless digital camera I noticed black banding in the images. To the best of my research this had something to do with my memory card write speeds, so I researched memory and this one came up in the arena of value for the quality. (Let’s say it was the best I could afford.) I have not been able to shoot lightning again for a proper comparison, but so farhave been happy with this card and the image quality. I don’t shoot video- just stills.
0 problemas.
Very sound speeds, and a great look and feel, yet one gripe would be the USB C is way way way too short. Make sure you have a very good fast data transfer rate cable lying around, or buy in advance, to make sure you can place it where you want on your desk.
For the price its not bad. I did have an over heating issue a month ago shooting hi speed burst. My Z6ii showed the “overheating” and the camera stopped working. I took the card out and it was hot. I continued shooting with my SD card. After about half an hour I put the CFExpress card back into the camera and it worked fine. I have had no issues since but I also have not shot in hi speed. No files were lost on the card and its performing normal now.
I originally returned them only to realize that my Nikon firmware was required in order for them to be compatible. A shoot a Z6. Yes it’s compatible. You just need to update the firmware.
With 10 Gbps setup, only give 700 Mbps max. I tried to another reader, cable, and ports, that was the maximum. Works fine with Nikon Z6 II. The card is suoerhot while copying.
Arrived in perfect condition, works great in my Nikon D850. Fast shipping!
The Panasonic GH-6 has two memory card slots. With an SD card, you can access the camera’s basic functions. But SD cards aren’t fast enough to handle some more powerful, data-hungry features.
The GH-6 is optimized for high quality video, and a CFexpress card has the download speed to accommodate these functions.
The performance here is what I’ve come to expect from SanDisk: Smooth and trouble free. Yes, CFexpress cards are pricy. But it’s a relatively new format, and prices will probably come down… just as they have with other memory formats.
SanDisk cards haven’t let me down yet. And I don’t expect this one will, either. So far, so good.
Big capacity, check! Fast transfer times, check! This card may be pricy, but it’s sandisk’s finest and it gets the job done. I use this with Nikon’s D850 and I can rapid fire full res raw images on it no problem! Paired with one of sandisk’s pro card readers, I get 350mb/s transfer speeds when moving them to my laptop or desktop, which makes even 100gbs of photos transfer in well under 10 mins! Time is money, get the card you won’t regret it.
I have avoided buying anything other than SD cards for my entire photography life. However, I started filming daily videos in 4k, I filled up SD cards rapidly. I had to clear them off virtually every day and each day took a frustrating amount of time to transfer the files off.
With this card, I haven’t worried about running out of space/transferring an entire weekend of filming to edit since. It costs a lot, yes, and the reader is exceptionally expensive! But just the speed up (MAKE SURE TO USE USB 3.0!!) is worth it. I can edit entire after effects projects OFF of the card, transfer 100 GB in minutes, and haven’t seen a stutter in 3 months of regular filming!
Ottimo prodotto.
As a professional photographer, I rely heavily on high-quality and reliable memory cards to store my images. The SanDisk Extreme Pro CF Express Type B Card is hands down one of the best cards I have used to date.
First off, the read and write speeds are incredibly fast. With read speeds of up to 1700MB/s and write speeds of up to 1400MB/s, I can quickly transfer large files without any hiccups. This is particularly useful when I’m shooting a lot of high-resolution images or video.
The card itself is also incredibly durable. It’s shockproof, temperature-proof, waterproof, and x-ray-proof, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my data is safe even in harsh environments.
One thing that I particularly like about this card is that it’s backwards compatible with older devices that use the CFast 2.0 format. This makes it incredibly versatile and ensures that I can use it with a variety of cameras and devices.
Overall, I highly recommend the SanDisk Extreme Pro CF Express Type B Card for any professional photographer or videographer who needs a high-speed, reliable, and durable memory card. It may be a bit more expensive than other cards on the market, but the performance and quality make it well worth the investment.
Update: I’ve been using these cards for two months now in harsh conditions and I love them. The CFExpress card feels more substantial than the SD card used by my D610 and is less clumsy to use than the CF cards used by my D3s. I like that the card is shaped so that it’s immediately obvious which way to insert them. After some practice you can tell by feel, and don’t even have to look down as you put new cards in the camera. This format is a winner and I hope it continues for a long time.

I recently upgraded from a Nikon D3s to a Nikon D5. I stepped over the D4 because of Nikon’s decision to have two slots with dissimilar memory types (one xqd and one CF) and turned my attention to the CF version of the D5. I don’t trust Sony. They tend to do their own thing and their standards tend to become defunct. I use my cameras professionally, and I can’t afford to have the card format become prematurely obsolete.
Then, Nikon released a firmware upgrade to the D5 for the XQD version that supported CFexpress, which apparently works because the form factor is the same, only the protocol is different. This was the update I needed to finally pull the trigger on the D5. I got a refurbished body that already had the proper firmware installed, and didn’t need to muck with XQD at all.
The D5 can’t take advantage of the full speed of the CFexpress card, and for long continuous rapid fire you will eventually run out of buffer. But it’s definitely a step up from compact flash.
Where the CFexpress card really shines is reading the photos into lightroom. A good card reader on a USB3 port really blazes.
I like the feel of the cards. They’re thicker than SD cards, which I consider an advantage, and the shape of the card makes it easy to get it in the camera the right way the first time.
Bottom line, I like this format, and I’ve been doing business with Sandisk (almost entirely their Extreme Pro series) and I suspect these cards will do well in the field. I just put two more on order.
I shoot professionally and am very hard on my equipment. It’ll be interesting to see how well the cards do under heavy workloads.
