It took me about 10 minutes to assemble the bike. I just had to attach the seat, handlebars and front wheel. That’s all / The only thing is that when inflating the front wheel a problem arose, the inner tube burst. She was probably old. I bought a new tube, changed it without any problems, it was very easy to do and now my child enjoys his bike.
Good bike but be warned training wheels can’t attach. Also we had to take to local bike shop to align brakes. Otherwise exactly as expected and my 6yr old loves it.
Cannot wait to give this bike to my nephew for his birthday! It was so easy to put together. The tires come with no air in them so you will have to do that.
This is a great learning bike. Solid and great looking. Comes with the training wheels as well. Gave this to my grandson on his 4th birthday and it took him all of 10 seconds to hop on and ride awaywith a huge smile!
My 7 year old who has autism adhd hence why clothes inside out but he loves this bike right hight nd size for him thank you he loves this bike so that makes everyone happy
I ordered a red version for my young grandson, but received a black one. I kept it instead of trying to return it. I didn’t find it that hard to assemble, just had to identify which version I had.
Purchased for our grandson he loves it good quality
Reasonable price.
Lovely bike, happy little boy, will last him a few years
Delivery good, assembly easy, service good, no issues product as advertised thanks
Seems like a good sturdy bike once you get it put together, took me about 30-45 minutes. I ordered two of these, the First one I ordered had a defective back tire that I was unable to get air into. They sent a replacement really quickly. This bike took me a while to assemble because the handle bars and brakes were difficult for me to attach or adjust correctly.
Really awesome little bike, excellent quality and went together really easily with some basic tools. Can’t recommend highly enough
I bought this bike quite some time ago. The price has rocketed line al out everything else in the past year! Happy that it arrived when it did. We did have an issue with the first delivery as the box came extremely battered. I will say the company resolved the issue really well.
I’m not offay with bikes and for that reason I think the instructions could have been better!
The training wheels are ok but not the best quality. Our little one started late as this is his first bike so this was the largest bike (inch of wheel) that allowed for the use of training wheels. That is a plus point. They weren’t needed for long!
The bike is fairly basic I guess as there aren’t any gears or better suspension etc. It serves as a good entry bike.
Sturdy, built like a tank, no rattles, has BOTH coaster and hand brakes, reasonably priced, looks nice. Way more sturdy than the kid’s snap together rattletrap Huffy.
Fairly easy to assemble, with pedals, seat, handle bars and front wheel left for the customer to attach. Adjustments took a while. The headset was way too tight from the factory requiring a large wrench and some fiddling to get it just right. If you are not handy you might need a professional to help you. The front fork should spin freely with no binding but also should be tight enough not to rattle.
The bike came well packaged with lots of cardboard and plastic doodads to protect the finish and the threads.
Don’t have many complaints. The bike is a bit heavy and I would prefer V-brakes over side pulls. The painted rims are not ideal for braking but performance should improve as the glossy paint wears.
Nice bike for the money. Happy with the purchase.
No problems with the quality as others have stated, so maybe some of the problems have been addressed. Great looking little bike when put together!! Like others have said, no instructions specific to this bike but with a little bit of previous bike know how this is quite easy to assemble without any! All in all happy with purchase and the boy is very happy with his new bike!
We liked the bike and it is good value but the instructions were so difficult and not at all easy to understand and put together, maybe this was just me but I usually have no issues when putting things togethe
A good quality bike ,easy to assemble and good value for money.
The stabilisers didn’t arrive with the bicycle. It’s very disappointed. Either the seller forgot or MISLEADING information in the title. The bicycle looks nice and sturdy. Quite heavy for its size but it’s acceptable. Thank you.
I ordered this bike in black and after a very long wait was informed on the day that it should have been delivered that the item was unavailable so i ordered the green and it was delivered within a few weeks and was well worth the wait my grandson loves it. it is sturdy and well worth the money have seen other bikes of the same price and not as well made.
Lovely blue bike!
The only thing is that one of the tyres was flat when we received it, and we only put it together the night before our little boys birthday. So it was disappointing that he couldn’t ride it straight away.
This is our second Koen. We bought the 18 inch version a couple of years ago. When you want a decent bike for a kid who will outgrow it in short time and don’t want to spend a lot, it’s a great choice. Packed well, comes mostly assembled, easy to put together (although the “universal” assembly manual is quite annoying. Just make an instruction sheet specific to the bike model/series already). Comes with training wheels, but we didn’t need them. It is a heavy bike though. However our average-sized 5 year old adjusted quickly.
I do have a couple of gripes with the 16 inch version vs the 18 inch. First, I was expecting both front and back caliper brakes and a kickstand, like the 18 inch version. I guess the 16 inch version only comes with front calipers and no kickstand. I bought the Greenfield 285 mm brushed aluminum kickstand, cut it to size, and put it on in seconds.
Second, the caliper material (the metal) seems to bend easily. On the 18 inch one my son must have dropped his bike or maybe hit something and the calipers bent. I could probably bend it back but haven’t tried yet.
Other than that can’t really complain for the price, even with the COVID price premium that is affecting bike prices.
