I use this for backups of my photos and documents. Great to be able to use straight out of the box and the size is ideal to slip into your pocket if needed. A 4 tb box of memories on hand at any time. Brillia
My own fault: I really should have gone for the 2TB as I’d underestimated what I had on my computer. So I’ve said storage capacity 5 as I couldn’t complain that it wouldn’t take 2TB! However it’s excellent with my less burdened laptop.
Using as back up storage for my laptop. Easily set up for Mac Time Machine and basically just had to plug in, format and it was ready for use. Also had clear instructions if needed.
Have now been using for a month with no issues. Small and compact so easy to store as well.
The ability to use this device out of the box is beneficial and made the visit I was working on so much easier. Would recommend this device to anyone needing to either do a backup of thier system or data transfer. I have one of these device running a Time Machine Backup on my Mac desktop.
I received the item within 24 hours. I plugged it into my computer with the cable provided and copied all the filed I needed. No setting up or messing about. I now take it with me when away and just plug it into my laptop and use it to upload and save all my files to.
Very easy to plug in and use, first of all. I’m using it with Windows 10 so can’t comment on use for Macs – but it should be similarly easy; just reformat it after plugging in.
I’m using it to store old arcade game emulators and games on and it works very well, just plugged into a USB 3 port on my PC. Speed of access is fine, no noticeable slowdown noticed. Would be excellent as a back up device too.
I’ve had several Seagate drives in the past and back up my photos and videos to a 2 TB which is now getting full so needed another.
I prefer not to put all my eggs in one basket so use this size rather than a larger version.

HD da SEAGATE 5 TB funcionando muito bem como demonstrado na foto.
O HD externo Seagate perfeito para o que precisava, com 5 TB de espao e sem a necessidade de fonte de alimentao… d pra guardar todos os meus arquivos e no preciso me preocupar em ter uma tomada por perto. Eu recomendo fortemente!
Utilizado no Xbox Series. Ele no veio com nota fiscal e acho que a garantia se d pelo nmero de srie no site da fabricante. Acho que no precisa de nota para acionar o RMA. No passado j usei garantia e hoje no sei se mudou algo. O HDD perde um bom espao somente pela formatao. Como podem ver, ele reconhecido como 4.5 TB e no como 5 TB livre. Eu sei que isso “comum”, mas no considero ok e por isso as 4 estrelas. Se voc estiver em ambiente de silncio da para ouvir o HDD trabalhando, pois ele no 100% silencioso. Produto produzido na Thailandia, conforme dizer da caixa.
No precisa de fonte externa igual outros hdds maiores e um produto bonito.
No geral eu recomendo o produto e tambm o vendedor que fiz negcio “Orbitinfo”. Pretendo comprar outro mais para frente.
La descripcin es correcta, es fcil de usar, llego bien y rpido, ya la estrene, le puse cercano a 4T de archivos y no tuve ningn problema en la transferencia ni en su manejo. Por el precio es una excelente opcio
Seagate a marca que sempre usei para meus HDs externos, e mais uma vez no me decepcionou.
Es sper practica, le cabe todo y ms y aparte es fcil de usar ..
Me gust que es pequeo y tiene gran capacidad. Si quieres utilizarlo para particiones, tiene una proteccin por defecto, que se elimina fcilmente siguiendo las instrucciones de soporte que da el sitio web oficial.

Ho acquistato questo hard disk esterno per ampliare lo spazio di archiviazione del mio computer e devo dire che sono rimasto soddisfatto dell’acquisto. L’hard disk ha una capacit di archiviazione di 2 TB, che pi che sufficiente per le mie esigenze.
La velocit di trasferimento dati molto veloce grazie alla connessione USB 3.0, il che mi ha permesso di trasferire i miei dati in modo rapido ed efficiente.
L’hard disk compatibile con PC e notebook e non richiede l’installazione di alcun software aggiuntivo. Inoltre, il design compatto e leggero dell’hard disk lo rende facile da trasportare ovunque io vada.
Tuttavia, devo sottolineare che l’hard disk non molto resistente agli urti e alle cadute, quindi necessario tenerlo al sicuro e maneggiarlo con cura.
In sintesi, l’hard disk esterno Seagate Expansion da 2 TB un’ottima scelta se stai cercando una soluzione di archiviazione affidabile e facile da usare. La capacit di archiviazione e la velocit di trasferimento dati sono molto buone, mentre il design compatto e leggero lo rende facile da trasportare. Consiglio di prestare attenzione alla sua fragilit e di maneggiarlo con cura.
Brought to upgrade my PS4 storage as games nowadays have such large data files that the standard hard drive can only store 3 or 4 games.

Wanted a cheap back up drive as I run 4 computers to transfer files was really surprised how quick this for a HDD.
This is a wonderful little USB-powered hard drive, massive in capacity, that I purchased to replace an earlier Seagate model of the same capacity (4Gb) that was misbehaving incurably, kept spontaneously disconnecting and re-connecting. Just one of those things that happens. It was several years old, and I had it backed up on an identical drive of the same age which is still functioning OK, touchwood. To all reading this, I emphasise that you cannot have too many backups, so be prepared!
The new drive is superb, and has the pleasing and helpful addition now of a “busy light”, so that you can be confident something is actually happening when a computer command is sent to the gadget.
These are excellent drives, and every computerised home should have at least one. I am absolutely confident with the Seagate brand, so thanks to all of their staff for great products!
I would definitely recommend buying this over official xbox Seagates as they appear to do exactly the same thing, only you’ll pay through the nostrils for a coloured xbox one.
