I got this on Black Friday; it’s small and fast.
SSD is amazing and performs well too, it does the job as described in its description no false promises by the company.
I was really very confused while making a purchase for the external SSD, gone through and compared all the competitors in the segment and zeroed it down to seagate nevertheless to say this was a great decision.
Size of the SSD is really really impressive it is smaller than the wallet we carry and thinner than that too, precisely it would be somewhere half of my palm. Very impressive.

I use this for expandable storage on my Xbox series X games. You can only play last gen games off of it, you can store new games on it but have to transfer them over to the internal xbox storage to play the newer games. Really fast transfer speeds.
I picked this up for 65$, it’s easily worth over 100$ in 2023. I ordered a second one , it’s that good.

Leider war die erste Lieferung ein Missgriff. Wie bei den berhmten “Montagsautos”. Fr eine SSD waren die bertragungsgeschwindigkeiten grottenlangsam. Der Hndler ersetzte das Produkt umgehend und die zweite FP. ist deutlich schneller – wie von Seagate gewohnt. Auf der Homepage von Seagate kann man lesen, dass solche Mngel vom Kabel herrhren knnen. Das konnte ich leider nicht berprfen.
Ein Austausch war schneller.
I like the size, weight, and portability of this hard drive. It starts out at very fast speeds, but then slows down a lot. Overall, it’s substantially slower than my spinning portable hard drive. I assume the upside is that a solid-state drive is far more durable, with less risk of malfunction.
Originally used it with my MacBook Air but because the Apple OS would only let me preview my photos and not let allow me to edit them without making program changes that I did not want to make I moved the SSD to my Windows 10 laptop. No problems at all now. I have transferred 116GB of photos with plenty of room for more. Much, much faster than my older external hard drive. Very glad I moved to SSD.
Die meisten Spiele, die fr Series X|S Konsolen optimiert sind, knnen leider nicht bertragen werden, da sie sonst nicht spielbar sind.
Natrlich kann man sie auch fr den PC oder fr ein Handy benutzen.
Stauraum braucht sie fast keinen. Die Festplatte ist wirklich mega klein und passt in jede Jackentasche.
Im Ruhemodus der Konsole, schaltet sich auch die Festplatte ab und braucht somit (fast) keine Energie.
Wie man die Festplatte das erste Mal an der Konsole installiert, ist auch leicht zu erkennen. Die Konsole richtet die Platte vollautomatisch ein.
Works with Mobile phone. i have a tried to connect it with Oppo K10 5g , it connects and reads the ssd instantly.. have not yet checked tranfer Speed, but I’m sure it won’t disappoint.
I just received the product and have been to work with it. iwill Surely update the experience post a few weeks / months usage , to highlight any other pros / cons about the device..
At the moment if feel it’s an affordable ssd and can be purchased without 2nd thoughts..

I bought this to store video game software. It works fine, but it needs a more comprehensive online user’s guide. I had to ask my grandson for help setting it up (not kidding)!
A great SSD for storage or transfer. You can format it at the beginning of the usage in case you like to use it with your android phone too. Overall a good SSD if you are not into very high file transfer rates.
All My hard drives have been seagate because of their great after sales service this one is just perfect .., Small.. compact and fast haven’t checked speed but I’m sure with the right computers it keeps up to mArk
Die Geschwindigkeit, die hier mit 1000MB/sek. angegeben wird, ist aber wohl eher ein Scherz. Die Platte wird mit 5Gbit (USB 3.0) angebunden, da wren theoretisch sowieso kaum mehr als 600 MB/Sek. mglich. In der Praxis bleiben davon dann ca. 400-420 MByte/Sek. brig, getestet mit Blackmagic Disk Speed Test an verschiedenen Mac-Rechnern, Intel und Apple Silicon.
Ich habe die 2TB-SSD am Prime-Day gekauft (194 Euro) und somit ist der Preis okay. Auch nicht teurer als eine Crucial MX500 in einem externen Gehuse. Aber kleiner und leichter. Aber eben auch nicht schneller oder langsamer als eine Crucial mit SATA3-Anschluss. Fr den normalen Preis von 272 oder wie bei Seagate auf der Homepage angegeben ber 400 wre sie aber wahrlich berteuert.
Eigentlich htte es auch 5 Sterne geben knnen, weil ja alles okay, aber fr die freche Angabe von 1000MB/sek. gibt’s einen Stern Abzug wegen Lgerei.
It’s only been a few weeks, but this little unit seems to be doing a great job as the backup disk for my iMac. Setting it up was so easy–plugged it in and followed the prompts to format. Then I set Time Machine to use it for backups, and it has been running ever since. I haven’t had to restore anything yet, but I’ll let you know how that goes when it happens!
It was very straightforward formatting it and then using it as a backup for my M1 iMac using OS Monterey.
My only, minor, criticism is the length of the cables that come with it – 9 inches – come on!

En definitiva, un disco duro externo porttil, que funciona muy rpido (debido a la SSD de disco duro de estado slido que tiene incorporado) y su precio est muy bien.
