This is the only dehumidifier that I have owned, so I can’t compare it to other brands or models, but my experience with this one during the winter was very good. As I work from home, I installed this is my bedroom-office and kept it working during the day, while I was working in the same room, and the noise was not excessive. It is noisier than the fan that I use during the summer, and the light is quite bright, so I never kept it running at night, but just by using it during the day it improved the humidity of the room, making it more comfortable. The design is nice, and it is easy to empty the container and keep the unit clean, so it doesn’t require much maintenance. The color-changing light is not my cup of tea, but it can be toggled to a single color by the push of a button, so that’s OK.

My house is extremely humid unfortunately (south FL problems) and i purchased one of these to give it a try. lets just say i have two of these bad boys on the first floor alone because they really work. i empty them out once a week and theres always so much water.
Bought dehumidifier for 388 Square foot Tiny Home to help keep the moisture down, hence help prevent mold. Could not be more satisfied with this purchase! Product is fantastic, I love the night light feature, automatic shut off so it won’t leak if you are not around if it fills up. Good size and well built. Works so well for me that I have to be aware of the humidity in my home or it dries the air out, to the point of getting shocks when touching things. (Static shocks) Would definitely recommend
At first the Boise of this machine didn’t bother me. Now that I’ve been using it for over a month I’ll agree that it’s on the noisy side. Works great (using in about 700 Sq ft). The lighting options are actually a nice touch.
Works a treat, collects loads of water have it in spare room no more damp, worth every penny.
My medium sized room is extremely humid so I have 2 electric humidifier going at the same time, a ProBreeze and this. IMO this one is better due to it’s capacity and the 2 speed settings. The second setting is pretty loud so I sleep with the lower settings on which is fine. The tank usually fills up in about 5 days for me. I can’t speak on its energy efficiency though.
Ive had this product for several months so far and it’s an amazing little thing. We were have indoor window condensation issues and this has definitely helped improve the situation. I use it in about a 300 sq ft space and I empty it out at least once a week. Super quiet and also really cute that you can set the colors on it too!

Can sleep with it on. It is not absolutely quiet but makes some comfortable white noise. The build is quality and pretty design. The system is quite efficient, keep the door closed and you get a dry and warm room.
I got tired of spending money on salt based moisture traps and decided to look for alternatives. Electrical traps looked the next thing to try.
Pros:
– nicely designed
– ever changing colored light
– two levels of fan speed
Cons:
– bulky
– noisy
– does not come with handle
In the end this electric trapo will not substitute my ususal salt based ones because it is too big to fit in cupboards or drawers and requires to be constatly connected to the mains. It will help with those occasions where humidity is substantial, e.g. when airing washed clothes or when walls tend to build moisture in certain winter days.
I have yet to verify how energy efficient it is, but I noticed that you really have to let it on for days at a time to make sense of it in situations where a salt based trap could not be used, I tehrefore expect to notice it my electricity bills.
Nice quiet little unit that seems to work very well in my granddaughters bedroom.
This a small, compact but powerful enough to clear our static caravan.
This unit works really well, the one issue that I’ve found is that the unit has two fan speed settings. The Quiet setting is not as quiet as they make it out to be on the video as it is quite noisy in the low setting.(wouldn’t be able to sleep with it on). Besides this issue the unit extracts moisture from the air very well! I would recommend purchasing one but if you want one that you can leave on in your bedroom at nighttime this may be an issue for you to drop off to sleep.
This is actually amazing and 100% works in damp bedrooms. We just bought this and I’m so shocked at how much water it has collected. Definitely buying another for different room. It’s hums kind of loud on full but you can put it onto a lower setting for when you are sleeping. My windows are usually covered in water in the morning but literally 1 day using this and the windows are dry. It’s almost full with water and we’ve only had it on for 1 day.
Funny enough, in the old days I would just have turned up the heating but these days you need to own an oil field to be able to afford such a luxury
Was going to buy more but it’s all sold out and delivery is now next year.
Addendum. Thought that I had submitted this review but forgot to press “submit”. In the meantime some say that it’s noisy. Well I disagree. My wife and I can sleep with it on even with the high speed setting.
Only used once . Really usefull when room is steamy. Moisture gone fairly fast.
I’m reinstating the original review. Even though I was past the 30 day return window the manufacturer stood by their product and replaced them. They also asked for the faulty unit to be shipped back so they could determine the problem.
UPDATE:
After 3 months the replacement unit has now stopped working. That’s 2 out of 4 units we’ve ordered: a 50% failure rate. Downgrading my review.
Original review:
We had some mold growing in our closet and we were horrified. We thought it was a water leak somewhere, but nope. The mold expert we hired determined: 1. We live in a fairly humid climate, 2. our room is north facing making it cooler, darker (not as much sunlight), 3. there isn’t enough airflow/venting, 4. we have an open room concept where the bathroom is part of our master and 5. there is a water feature (basically a fountain) right outside our room which creates evaporating water. I mean, who designs a fountain IN the house!?! (but I digress). Needless to say, we are humidity-challenged.
We bought 2 of these units and we never turn them off. One is in our bathroom and one is in our closet. We do keep the units’ lights off because it’s hard to sleep with them on. The lower speed/volume function works fine, but we leave the unit on full. It’s just white noise to us. We empty each unit every couple of days and the water collection tanks are about 20% full before we empty them. You can walk into our closet now and literally feel how much dryer it is. These are life savers! So distraught over all the ruined things I had to throw away and hope to never go through that again.
Knocked off one star because we had to return/replace one unit. Luckily it was in the 30-day window and not a hassle. It worked fine for a week then nothing. Dry as a bone. Just stopped working.
Nice colour changing lights if you wish to have it on .. It has 2 speeds which is great, sleep mode which quieter. .Looks great too . Works really fast to collect moisture in the air. Would recommend, even though this is more expensive other ones on the market it will cover larger square metres room sizes.
Only caveat (lost 1 star) is that instructions ONLY come in Chinese. You can download and print an English version from the product page – but still a faff.
I absolutely love this dehumidifier. It makes the air quality in my room so much better than it was before. It’s very simple to set up. It also is easy to store in a small corner. You can switch between two different fan settings so it can be quieter. I highly recommend this, especially at such a great price.
