This lens is magical. My pictures are very sharp and it’s not too heavy to bring around with me.
I use this lens for food photography and street photography. I have to say it really did the job, my photos have never been so clear and sharp.

Ottica incredibile che su Full Frame genera foto strabilianti. Adatta anche all’astrofotografia, resta una delle ottiche grandangolari migliori in circolazione!
I work as a wedding and events photographer, and the 24mm GM lens is by far my favourite lens in my bag. Super sharp, fast autofocus and the bokeh is fantastic. It’s also awesome for video work. I’m usually a 35mm shooter, but I’m veering more towards 24mm these days. It’s an expensive lens, but totally worth it.
The best 24mm you can find for any mount. Worth every penny.

Que dire de plus, on oublie vite le lger vignettage aux grandes ouvertures, le bokeh est parfait et le piqu est exceptionnel toutes les ouvertures.
Un objectif indispensable pour la photographie en intrieur. La chose avoir. Hautement recommand. Expdition rapide, le colis est arriv parfait, prix imbattable. Vous tes formidable. Merci merci merci d’Italie.

Great little toy to play with. I’m using it mostly on filming and the build quality is great. Also the focus is great but it’s not a video lens and it will be slow sometimes especially in dark areas.

I’ve only had the chance to take a handful of shots with this lens. However; it’s tack sharp and has bokeh to die for, when wide open.

Amazing lens, love this lens, thought long and hard about this as it was going to be my final lens, one I could just grab and go and I am no means disappointed. Fantastic quality, crisp and clear image, light and very portable unlike my 200-600, very very please, couldn’t recommend this lens enough.
Sehr sehr gutes Objektiv. Schrfe , Farben, Details usw bis jetzt alles wunderbar. Dazu klein , leicht und sehr gut verarbeitet . Soll auch demnchst mal zum filmen eingesetzt werden. Denke da wird es genauso gut abschneiden wie bei den Bildern. Bin top zufrieden .
Das 24mm f1.4 hingegen verzeichnet kaum, bzw irrelevant. Man kann im Grunde sagen, es verzeichnet fast gar nicht. Daher verwende ich hierfr auch keine Software Korrektur. Die 24mm sind wohl auch echte 24mm. Das Sigma 24mm f1.4 hingegen soll laut youtube Review nur ca. 25,5mm betragen, was dort auch im direkten Vergleich zum Sony 24mm f1.4 sichtbar wird.
Das Sony 24mm f11.4 ist ein top Objektiv. Fr mich ist das Gewicht schon das Oberma das ich mittlerweile tragen mchte. Es ist fr ein 1.4er angenehm klein und leicht.
Obige Alternativen sind entweder auf Grund des Brennweitenbereichs fr mich nicht nutzbar oder zu gro/zu schwer.
Mit der Abbildungsleistung bin ich an der A7III sehr zufrieden! Freistellen ist sehr gut mglich. Je nach Aufnahmesituation lsst sich der Schrfebereich bei Apertur 1.4 auf nur ca. superschmale 1cm begrenzen! Somit lassen sich natrlich fr ein 24mm Objektiv super tolle Freistellungen erzielen.
Auch Landschaftsaufnahmen sind exzellent und – bei entsprechender Blenden- und Schrfeeinstellung – sehr scharf bis in die Ecken hinein. Wenns schnell gehen soll kann man ohne Bedenken auch bei 1.4 fotografieren. Die Randschrfe ist dann immer noch sehr gut, die Ecken schwcheln – aber es reicht aus. Bei greren Ausdrucken wrde ich schon abblenden.
Als sehr kritischer Nutzer bin ich voll zufrieden. Das 24mm ist jetzt fast immer auf der A7III und fr fast alles klasse nutzbar, sogar fr Hundefotografie und natrlich auch Menschen, Objekte, Astro…
Fazit:
+ Schrfe auf sehr hohem Niveau bis in die Ecken, bereits bei Offenblende! Top!
+ Kontrast ist sehr gut!
-+ Chromas sind vorhanden aber korrigierbar.
– In besonders seltenen Fllen sind auch Purple Frings vorhanden. Fallen dann (obwohl viel vorhanden) dennoch kaum auf (nur bei Landschaftsaufnahmen mit vielen Baumblttern und nur bei bestimmten Lichtsituationen und Winkeln) – fr mich in der tglichen Praxis kein Problem.
+ Sonnensterne sind schn bis sehr schn, nicht “hammermig” aber sehr schn.
– Preis … ufff …. heftig…. hat sich dennoch gelohnt!
+ Blendenring fr mich super! Vermisse ich jetzt bei meinen anderen Optiken
+ sehr gut manuell zu fokusieren
+ berhaupt ein spitzen Ding!
+ wertige und robuste Habtik … so fhlt sich Qualitt a
