Sounds good to listen to the radio.
This is is only 16W so will struggle if you want it for a disco or party.
The sound of quality for listening to music or radio is good, nice depth.
I’ve introduced quite a few people to Anker products (earbuds, mini speakers, power banks, and charging hubs), amazing products at reasonable prices. This SC3 speaker was for my daughter who recently went of to uni and replaced an SC2 with the old USB type B cable charging port as it had failed. I can’t praise the SC3 enough for it’s ease of use, great sound output and long battery life. Keep up the good work Anker.
Great sound, with phone or tablet if using app gives plenty of options, even just connecting to a laptop sound is good, seemingly a good range through the spectrum. Bug fan of soundcore anyway but will always be honest if something sounds bad I’ll always say. Easy to connect to devices, couldn’t believe the size and what is being pumped out of it! Charging is quick and simple and it feels solid, as always a good quality build from soundcore! Definitely want to get the bigger one for outdoor work at the school I work at.
I got this as a replacement to the old model, soundcore 2.
It’s great . But.
The more powerful speakers do give a better sound for music, but with the extra base I’ve found it to have less battery life, more weight and size and I have to actually play it LOWER so the sound doesn’t carry to other rooms or neighbours while I’m cooking/ gardening etc.
Oddly, the old soundcore two was less of a powerful speaker but more fit for (my) purpose.
For such a small speaker, the sound quality is excellent and the volume is amazing. The Bluetooth link up is fast and the range is great. So easy to use.
I love it is the best I ever had big battery amazing sound very practical and water proof . My son put it under water multiple times and is working fine absolutely no issue .
This is a great little speaker. I’m so pleased with the sound quality, the people in the next door hotel room were maybe not so impressed!
I own several Anker products now and none of them have failed to delive
I`m no expert but build quality sound really good. love it.
Wow! At this reduced price (39.99) it’s a no-brainier! I bought this based on reviews and value for money. I wanted a Bluetooth speaker that gives good bass at low volume and this is perfect. I used the Soundcore App to adjust the sound to my preference and the speaker did not disappoint! The equaliser and the bass up option turned on left me absolute shocked at just how good this speaker sounds. The app is easy to use, the sound is incredible, and for a deeper bass after adjusting the sound to your preferred style, just place the speaker in a corner and you will be amazed at how much more bass is heard.
I suppose the only downside would be the bass reduction af full volume, but it makes sense to do that to avoid any distortion from the speaker. And don’t forget you can link this speaker to other soundcore speakers for larger gatherings.
My only disappointment is the lack of inputs. No USB, memory card or 3.5 jack inputs – so it’s Bluetooth only, but please don’t let this put you off. It really is an incredible speaker!
I have the Soundcore Boost as well, which is more bass-heavy, but this Soundcore 3 has a much clearer sound, which I tend to prefer. Both are really well built and excellent value for money. Anker makes excellent products which are almost on a par with the top brands costing 4-5 times as much. Highly recommended.
Brought this for 35 its brill considering I had spent considerable more on a Bose that never worked properly
Sound quality is great considering price and size. Best portable speaker I’ve owned
After having a number of Soundcore products ( headphones) I wanted a speaker for outdoor use with easy portability and great sound. The Soundcore 3 has this in spades. Bought 2 as they were still cheaper than some of the leading brands and the pairing is a fantastic feature very easy to use. Sound quality is on par with some of the more very expensive brands and controlling through the app is an added bonus. Highly recommended
Well worth the money. Sound is amazing, easy to pair, sturdy build. Very happy
Beautiful little thing works perfectly and the sound is just amazing for the size of the thing you will be impressed
Brilliant speaker. You can download an app where you can work from Yr phone. It does work with out the app. Very loud. Sounds good too.
Got for my little sister, sound quality is amazing for such a little speaker, easy to connect and use, would recommend!
I was surprised by the quality of the sound, it’s load enough to fill a room with sound. Build quality is really good, it’s a weighty unit, coated in a rubberised plastic. Connect faultlessly via Bluetooth. I can’t confirm the 24hrs of playback, but it’s run for 7 hours in a garden without fading. I’d highly recommend it for the money.
Nice bit of kit, smaller than I thought but sounds amazing with plenty of settings to customise sound tones.
Connected to Bluetooth easily and auto connects to last device.
Like the play button which can skip forward a track , x2 presses or skip back , x3 presses.
Amazing battery life as well. Has a nice chunky soft touch feel, and looks to be very made .
For 44 after prom discount it’s an absolute bargain .
Worth every penny with such great sound quality .. buy one quick !!
Honestly, it’s an excellent bit of kit and you can’t go wrong. Great sound, great volume, very long battery life, the bass is amazing and an absolute bargain compared to other brands.
Wuuld recommend to anyone looking for a personal & portable model.
Was going to buy bose speaker but due to budget opted for soundcore instead. Boy was i impressed it was great, glad i didn’t waste my money on the dearer one
I bought this speaker so I could have some music in the garden. It’s small but quite heavy for its size so is clearly packed full of electronics and battery. The sound is great for its size and the battery life is impressive. I’m probably quite a demanding customer but this is a really impressive item.
I was somewhat apprehensive about buying this given the price but after getting a pair of Soundcore Q30 headphones I decided to take the leap on this and I’m so glad I did. I work in a noisey car garage and this deffiantly holds its own against that background noise! I have been asked by multiple colleagues what speaker it is and they are shocked when I tell them it isnt an expensive Bose or Sony product. Great product, If you’re even just thinking about getting a speaker, then you’ve just found the best vaule for quality!
I’ve had this a few weeks now and I am still blown away how good the sound quality is for such a small unit. The range is spot on too.
I really can’t praise how good this is for the money.
Battery life is magnificent, I’ve only charged it up twice, and I’ve used this every day for around 2-3 hours a day.
Highly recommended — Well worth the money!
As a big fan of Anker products, I decided to purchase this Soundcore Anker 3 Bluetooth as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. This Christmas present for my boyfriend has exceeded our expectations in terms of sound quality, versatility, and overall satisfaction.
First and foremost, the sound quality produced by the Soundcore Anker 3 is simply outstanding. Anker has consistently impressed me with their attention to detail and commitment to audio excellence, and this speaker is no exception. It delivers crystal-clear sound, deep bass, and well-balanced tones that truly bring our favorite music to life. Whether we’re listening to our favorite tunes, watching movies, or even enjoying podcasts, the Soundcore Anker 3 never fails to provide an immersive and enjoyable listening experience.
Being a fan of Anker products, I already own Anker Bluetooth headphones and a portable power bank, both of which have exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and durability. The Soundcore Anker 3 Bluetooth Speaker maintains the same high standards I have come to expect from Anker. The build quality is solid, and its sleek design adds a touch of sophistication to any room or outdoor setting. I appreciate Anker’s commitment to delivering products that are not only functional but also visually appealing.
Another notable feature of the Soundcore Anker 3 is its versatility. With Bluetooth connectivity, it effortlessly pairs with our devices, giving us the freedom to enjoy our favorite music wirelessly.
Furthermore, the battery life of the Soundcore Anker 3 is exceptional. It provides hours of uninterrupted playback, allowing us to enjoy our music without worrying about frequent recharging. This makes it perfect for road trips, outdoor adventures, or simply enjoying music throughout the day without interruption.
In conclusion, the Soundcore Anker 3 Bluetooth Speaker is another exceptional product from Anker that has further solidified my admiration for their brand. Its outstanding sound quality, versatility, and sleek design make it a fantastic addition to any audio setup. As a fan of Anker products, I can confidently say that the Soundcore Anker 3 lives up to the brand’s reputation for delivering high-quality audio experiences. If you’re in search of a Bluetooth speaker that combines impressive sound performance with versatility and reliability, the Soundcore Anker 3 is an excellent choice that won’t disappoint.
I’ve enjoyed anker’s various bluetooth speakers for a while. I bought these to share the same tune between rooms, but sadly the volume can’t be adjusted independently using the controls on the units. That only slightly reduces the range of scenarios they’re good for, but it knocks out the most important to me. I would have hoped that these days we could stream the audio at full amplitude to the devices and negotiate volume through a function of the setting on the device and the source. One multiplied by the other essentially. Maybe they’ll have a go with a firmware update some day.
For the price, just under40 couldn’t ask for anything better.
Just purchased second soundcore 3 to have one at home with the second at our holiday caravan.
Great speaker. Definitely recommend it, good bass for size speake
Excellent sound quality, battery life as advertised well worth the money.
When buying this, i was contemplating the Soundcore 2 but decided to spend that little bit extra for the features and im so glad i did. Amazing bass and overall sound quality. Bluetooth has been a little unusual at times but i dont think thats down to the speaker. Would highly recommend this for a budget bluetooth speaker!
The unit soundcore3 in my opinion sounds very good but does not like strong Bass as it vibrates a lot.
Quite a good little speaker considering. Seems quite alot of bass considering it’s size. I haven’t really used it to loud son couldn’t tell if it loses anything as if gets louder but sounds good to me. Also ingot 25 percent off so forbthe price seems good.
Bought this because I have a couple of classic Mercedes and can’t go chopping them up to put speakers in , just Chuck this on the back seat full digital music and radio from my I phone brilliant I would recommend the mini too , quality products .
Good looking and solid speaker. Nice clear buttons and connects every time. Probably not as loud as I expected.
I’m extremely impressed with the Soundcore 3 Bluetooth speaker, the sound quality is fantastic and it has such a long battery life. The design is sleek and durable, and I love the added bonus of being waterproof so I don’t have to worry about any accidental spills. I highly recommend the Soundcore 3 to anyone in the market for a high quality Bluetooth speake
The battery lasts forever! I mean it, it runs on magic! Sounds really good compared to their first speaker, which I also have and is great. Can’t rate this more highly!
Nice speaker, feels good quality and the sound is very good for its small size. I use it in the shower room and it fills the space with good clear sound. The bass is quite punchy as long as you don’t turn it up too loud or it starts to sound too boomy. The Bluetooth connection is rock solid and it remembers the last connection and connects automatically when turned on. Battery life seems very good, I use it regularly for 30 mins or so at a time and I’ve only charged it twice in the last few weeks. Would recommend particularly if you can get a discounted price.
Firstly, don’t compare this speaker with a larger more expensive speaker. It will sound small and lacking in deep bass.
However if your finances or carrying capacity won’t stretch to a bigger better speaker, you will find the sound quality from this (admittedly quite large) pocket-sized gem to be very pleasing, even at less than 50% volume in a medium sized room.
I would recommend watching an Alan Ross YouTube review of the speaker and making a note of his custom EQ settings. Here is where the speaker becomes more than meets the eye, as the Soundcore app. for mobile phones etc. includes a nine band graphic equalizer, and the ability to save multiple custom settings of your choosing, as well as a choice of the manufacturer’s own presets. A little experimentation is well worthwhile.
In summary, there are several other very good speakers available at or around this price level. I can only comment on this one, and recommend it to a buyer looking for a small, relatively cheap but good quality speaker.
Also if size and price are not quite so restricted, then for an extra 20 to 40 there are some excellent sounding speakers around these days. Again I can recommend Alan Ross’s excellent YouTube videos. Don’t be put off but his somewhat quirky presentation, as his reviews are very professional and thorough.
Happy listening.
I have used this in every room in the house, it is quite heavy, but the sound and bass produced is very very good. Cannot wait to give it a good blast in the garden come the summer. This sounds very close to the JBL sound. Grab one of these if quality of sound is your thing.
I upgraded my Soundcore 2 Bluetooth speaker to this after reading an excellent review in a gadget magazine, and I’m glad I did The Soundcore 3 is a really great speaker for its size, it sounds fantastic and is a definite improvement over the 2. It connected to my phone quickly and easily via Bluetooth. You can also adjust its EQ via the Soundcore app, which you can’t with the 2. I use it primarily in my car, which is old and doesn’t have a working stereo in it! It’s plenty loud enough even with the windows open, and doesn’t distort at higher volumes. The battery lasts for ages on a single charge the documentation says 24 hours. I’m really pleased with it, for the price I paid (39.99) it’s a really awesome speaker. It’s meant to be waterproof too, but I haven’t tested that yet maybe I’ll take it in the shower next time I charge it!
This is a really handy Bluetooth speaker that I use with my laptop and with my phone. It is very portable–but possibly a little smaller than I was expecting, and that makes the sound quality a little thin although still very good. It is easy to charge from a USB C cable, works very well and is perfect when I am travelling. The only annoying problem I have, which seems to be specific to this speaker, is that when I get an alert for a message, it will stop playing, and I have to manually restart the playing. No other speakers or headphones have stopped completely, so I am not sure why this is the case just with this speaker.
After a quick online search for “best budget bluetooth speakers”, the Soundcore 3 came out on top of a few lists, so I took a chance and overall, I was not disappointed.
PROS:
What immediately stood out was the clarity of the sound; it’s very easy to pick out bass, middle and treble ranges so your audio sounds great. Very easy to pair with devices (I’ve paired it with 3 separate devices so far), and the dimensions are good, not to cumbersome to carry around but also has a satisfying weight to it. I haven’t tried the app yet, so I haven’t tested the EQ adjustments that can be made, but then my phone’s music app has an EQ setting that I use so I’m not sure if that would even be useful? It might just over-complicate matters.
CONS:
A couple of small nit picks. I personally would have liked some dedicated “skip track back/forward” buttons on the top and there would have been room for them. The rubberized outer shell, while good for gripping and carrying, also feels very much like it will get marked very easily so depending how much you carry this around you can probably expect it to start looking a little beat up quite quickly unfortunately.
At the top end of volume the sound also distorts a bit, but then that’s probably true of any speaker, especially smaller bluetooth ones. (I can’t speak to the waterproof aspect as I have no intention of testing that out and just hope it works if water ever gets anywhere near it!). Does the speaker really need an app? Not everything needs an app, so I doubt I’ll install it as I don’t want to have to set EQ settings on my phone’s music player AND set EQ settings on the speaker, especially as I use it with different devices. That seems like an unnecessary addition.
Overall, it’s a good little speaker, but considering the Soundcore 2 is significantly cheaper (you can get one of those for almost half the price of the Soundcore 3), I have to wonder how much better the Soundcore 3 is compared to it’s predecessor, and should I just have bought that one? So while it’s good, it’s also a little on the expensive side.
