Good, comfortable, no water coming in. Happy with the choice.
My son loves these goggles. He is now on to his 2nd pair.
My son chose these from a whole line of competition goggles and he is happy with what he chose.
Really good swimming goggles. My cheap pair kept leaking so purchased these and it’s made swimming so much more enjoyable.
I’ve been using Speedo Fastskin products for a while now and had mixed feelings, but these work well for me. They are a tight fit, even when adjusted to the max, but they give great vision and have never let a drop of water in.
Only concern is that they are fragile. I’m very conscious of scratching them inside and outside the lenses as I’ve ruined a couple of pairs before just by cleaning with a “rough” towel. Be cautious
Pros
Excellent fit and great wide visibility. No eye marks or minimal fogging throughout. I swim for 45 mins several times a week and the comfort remains great throughout the swim. Also, no water gets in even on sharp turns. They are really liberating to wear.
I’ve tried many goggles but eye marks and fogging are always an issue. And unless super tight water can get in on turns or fast moves.
These are the best pair of goggles I’ve ever owned. I researched thoroughly before I bought as I wanted a better swimming experience and these certainly deliver that.
Cons
I have a smallish head and the strap is set to almost max size which is totally fine for me. But if you have a larger head then they would be a tighter fit I imagine.
Vaya, no volver a otra gafa.
These are probably the best pair of Speedos I’ve owned. They fit my eyes really well and I’ve had no leakage to date. I have the straps moderately tight to ensure they don’t move around.
The antifog is okay, I don’t think it’s as good as the biofuse lenses where the antifog is built in, but as long as you put your goggles in the water first so they get to the same temperature then they do just fine. As it’s only a coating, do your best to avoid touching the inside of the lens to keep it going for longer.
I’d say they’re on about the same level as the first Fastskin goggles, but with a bit more vision provided, nicer styling and a more reliable strap. Definitely better than the Fastskin elite/prime goggles.
My husband loves these googles. He says they are comfortable to wear, don’t leak and have good view underwater. Tint effect helps with the bright sun. Quite expensive but well worth the price.
My son is a very keen swimmer and loves these goggles. He said they are comfortable, offers good viewing and doesn’t fog up on him. Whenever he needs to get new ones, he always comes back to this particular one. They arrived quickly, are always well packaged! Very pleased.
Selten bzw.
Look like a bad ass in the pool, they are not red they are proper pink!! Pink like the power puff girls! But the mirror effect is cool and when wearing them can’t notice the pink as much
So only just worn them out today they are billed as racing goggles whilst they are great.
Cons.
Strong tint means you can see great. But if your swimming outdoors in the sun these would be ace.
Read to believe they are racing goggles. On the safety paper it says not to dive with them.
Slightly painful to wear but they are in socket goggles. You’ll never find insocket goggle particularly comfortable.
Pros
They look great
They dont leak
You feel great and can perform faster movements in the pool without leaks.
End of the day you want a set of googles that dont leak and perform in the water so far for me these goggles performed really well
I would genuinely recommend them as goggles. Great goggles and great shorts go along way
These are a really sleek and fitted design and look fab – best of all they really work as an effective goggle (no leaks).
For me though, with my delicate eye area and softer skin (wrinkles!) given my age, I found that the dreaded ‘goggle eye’ was pronounced after a swim. I don’t like feeling so squished by my goggles so I passed them not son number 4 – he was delighted by them and has decided they are ‘the best goggles ever’!
A lovely design, and highly recommended, but perhaps not for those with ageing eyes.
These are goggle for serious swimmers and meant for serious swimming. Now I’ve tried them a few times these are going in my swim bag and are being saved for comps only, as they are too good for getting scratched and worn out from training use.
They are tight fit, and worn very close to the face and temples, but comfortable, which gives them a very aggressive and ‘pro’ look which is always good for intimidating the opposition on the starting blocks. The blurb claims to save 5% drag reduction, which is a bit exaggerated, but they do stay tight and secure on a dive. They ‘feel’ fast, and if you feel fast you do tend to go faster.
Visibility is ok, not great. These are not open-water goggles and I wouldn’t recommend them for that use as the peripheral vision is pretty poor. In the pool this doesn’t matter at all, but in open water it’s important. Forward visibility is great though, with no distortion and no noticeable fogging They are comfortable enough for racing use, but perhaps a bit tight for hours of training, but it would be a shame to use these for that. These are racing goggles, front and centre.
If you’re serious about swimming and are a racer, then these are great goggles and you’d struggle to do better. They work well, look fantastic, and make you feel like Phelps. Wear them for one training session to set them up, and you’re ready to go – put them away and save them for race day. If you don’t race, then really they’re overkill and actually look a bit silly.
The Fastskin Pure Focus goggles are the real deal. I do a lot of club swimming and competitions, and if you ever want to feel galvanised in the pool, then these are the weapon of choice. They do take a bit of setting up, pretty much everything can be micro adjusted, but once done you’ve got a friend for life. Speedo claims a 5% drag reduction, I can’t verify that, but I know I felt great wearing them and whilst my times haven’t’ improved by 5%, I feel more than 5% better wearing them. Whilst they’re not the cheapest googles, I’ve gone all out and kept mine for competitions only now and they’re definitely giving me the boost I’m after.
Have just finished my third swim with these on. They are expensive so you have to make your own ‘value’ judgement. What I can say is that with each swim lasting over an hour, I had zero leakage, great visibility, zero fogging and they were as comfortable as I’ve ever had for goggles. So functionally I found them faultless. If you swim a lot, to my mind they are worth it.
Comfortable and good quality. The nose piece can be easily replaced without fear of breaking. High cost but you get what you pay for. Comes in a good case.
Athletic level goggles that really do outperform the Speedo Elite Goggles which we own.
They feel more comfortable and mould better around my face, creating a tight seal.
They come with three nose bridge attachments: Small, Medium and Large. Pre-fitted with the Medium.
Very useful as my other half is also using these too with a swift and easy change of the bridge as it just slides out.
The anti-fog feature does hold up to the claim, I find myself having to rub them less often with fairy liquid and water.
I’m not quite convinced with their claim on reducing drag by 5% compared to the Elite goggles – my lap time hasn’t averaged any faster.
A professional quality goggle but with a hefty price tag. One worth investing in, if swimming is your passion.
