Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have a permanent spinal cord injury and walking is difficult. This machine is slowly strengthening my legs and I love using it in front of the TV. It’s easy and I can adjust it to any resistance. It helps to get my blood circulating after sitting in the recliner. I highly recommend this machine.

I am recovering from a knee replacement and needed a peddler for warm up. It is smooth, steady and quiet. I am only using it on the lowest setting at this time. The diameter of the range of pedals is shorter than I expected.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI unpacked it, pulled out the tab under the battery, and began to use it. I’ve gone 5 miles while knitting on the first day. I’ve been instructed by my cardiologist to lose weight but can’t use weights or do strenuous cardio. I’ve confident that I will be successful using this elliptical.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI purchased this peddler for my wife and since she has used it she has been able to walk for a much longer time. The only draw back is she now shops at the mall for a longer period of time and you know what that means.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI livei Alaska and broke my elbow this summer. Cannot really go out for walks but wanted to keep my circulation going. You cannot use this with a rolling desk chair as you will roll away! I am 5-4 and sitting on the couch didn’t work as my legs did not reach it. Recliner was the wrong angle. I wound up buying a living room chair with a solid back that sat me up straight to use this! It’s also heavy and was challenging moving it with my bad arm. All in all I like it now that have the chair to use it with and am able to lift it with my good arm!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI love using this machine. The only problem I have with the machine is that it wants to move around when using. I finally just put it on a rubber backed doormat rug, put it against the door, and that holds the machine from slipping away. The mat that comes with it is worthless. I have not used the cups and belt, because I don’t use a rolling office chair, so, can’t address that. I bought the machine to help with my knees and ankles and it does well for that purpose.

Start with least amount of tension and increase once began developing tolerance. Lastly was surprised it goes backwards. Another useful feature.

Golden Review Award: 61 From Our UsersPurchased to force-function some exercise while seated in front of the computer 8-hours per day, five days per week. It arrived timely and intact, requiring no assembly. It fit easily under the desk and has grippy feet to reduce movement on the floor. Because my floors are LVP, it did slide with some pushing so I put a box between the front and the wall to keep it firmly in place. The pedaling does result in some noise as the ‘flywheel’ moves, though there is no motor or other sounds. The resistance knob allows for increasing the challenge and benefit of the workout. At $117, it was expensive but less so than other brands. It does not have blue-tooth so the workout has to be manually recorded in whatever app one uses for exercise tracking. It has a battery-operated display of distance, time, and calories but I don’t use that part. I focus on time and heart rate, which I track through an Apple Watch. I would recommend for those who want to trial something to ensure they will use it before investing in a more expensive device, which was my motivation. I have learned that I will use such a device and plan to keep using this one until it dies or I am able to peddle quickly at the top resistance for 30 minutes without an increase in heart rate. I do recommend it and, if I had to replace it due to maxing out resistance or breakage, I would buy something similar with blue-tooth technology. For beginners or those who don’t want to spend $300 on a desk elliptical, this is a good option.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI have to be honest, I was more than a little bit skeptical about this product at first. I really only bought it so that I would have something to use while I waited for my new standard/full-sized elliptical to arrive. Now it’s a couple months later and I’ve switched to using this machine every day instead of my standard elliptical. It’s a bit too soon for me to speak to durability, but as long as it holds up over time, I will consider this one of the best value purchases I’ve ever made. I even put it in my car and brought it on vacation so I could exercise while out of town. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThis activity is so natural that I can work the pedals hard / fast even while deeply focused on work. I raised my desk about all inch with 24s that can’t be seen. Knee height works well with my height at 5’7″ and that of my chair and desk heights. My son is 6’2″ and his knees hit my desk underside. End of day, my legs have had a great workout. I’m tired earlier in the evening so I’m going to bed sooner and sleeping more deeply. Will never go back now that I have this. Seems well made. One of my best purchases ever.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTo ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase, please note that no table or desk will be tall enough to prevent your knees from hitting it. If you position yourself far enough back to avoid hitting your knees, you will be too far away to comfortably use a computer keyboard or mouse.

If you opt for an metal arm to position your laptop above you, make sure not to use a professional ergonomic chair as the wheels will push you away from the elliptical machine. I had a pulmonary embolism, I found that using such a device can help rebuild leg muscles when it’s challenging to engage in regular exercise. Make sure you set aside an additional budget to invest in a desk and chair to create an ergonomic posture; otherwise, you may risk injuring yourself over time.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersHave not had a chance to use it yet due to illness, (will write review once I do). However, the box looked like they drop kicked it all the way to my home, huge hole in the one side and ripped open. I am hoping that it is ok because that is a lot of money to spend on something just to have someone handle it like it was garbage.

*Update, got the unit out of damaged box and it was well packed in styrofoam so it was in good condition despite the rough handling it took in delivery. The peddles are smooth and it doesn’t slide on the carpet while using it. Very quiet and despite being heavy it is nice that it is portable so I can use it under my desk or while watching tv.

I’ve been pedalling around 50 miles a day while watching TV and working on puzzles. I was previously sedentary so first day my goal was 5 miles and lost track while watching a 2 hour movie and did 20 miles. It has a handle in the middle that can also be used with a resistance band to exercise arms. It does not slide on my hardwood floors so no need for a mat. I have poor circulation in my feet and this exerciser has greatly improved my circulation. I love it!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI ordered this because I sit at a desk all day and have experienced issues with hip flexor stiffness and pain. I know this isn’t going to help me lose weight but I wanted something to help with circulation and stiffness. This came fully assembled so I was able to use it straight out of the box. It’s very quiet and runs smoothly. I’m a little dubious of the distance and calories so I aim to pedal for XX minutes per hour. There is a noticeable difference in resistance settings so that’s nice. After a few weeks of use I’ve noticed my hips don’t hurt quite so much and improved mobility.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThis has drastically changed my work life after moving to a position where I am mostly sitting at a desk. It is very quiet. You cannot even hear it when I am using it. It is very smooth to use and I love the options to increase/decrease tension. It is bigger than a few I have used in the past but it has better range than those did. It is a little heavy to carry around so it would not be ideal if you would be moving it frequently.

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersI work from home, I do zoom meetings from home, and I am a writer. I basically don’t leave the house at all (truthfully, I love it). Quarantining changed my life. I’m not into exercising at all.

That’s a little backstory, this little mini elliptical has absolutely changed my life for the better. I can’t think of any negatives other than the tension (resistance) isn’t quite enough. After a while, it will feel like you’re just peddling down a slight, declining hill.

I’ve started peddling backwards to give me a little bit of a switch in muscles that I’m using, but other than that, there’s really no tension. At least I’m moving during the day and I’m just looking for some sort of activity while on the phones and processing.

I’ve noticed I’m able to walk up stairs without my legs feeling like they’re on fire and I have more energy throughout the day. I’m stoked 🙂

    I LOVE THIS

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersI’m in my late 70’s but in good shape and I had just started a walking routine but the weather turned cold and I didn’t want to walk outside but I wanted to keep up the exercise. I had purchased exercise equipment in the past and like a lot of us all it did was collect dust. I thought if I could use this while I was sitting and watching tv etc. I might use it. Another plus was this machine was a good deal less expensive than similar models but it had good reviews. I must say I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the machine and also with the workout that it provides. I did not expect to work as much of my body as it does. I can feel it all the way to my abdominals. This noise level is minimal and does not distract me from tv or whatever I am doing and I can almost forget I am using it. I think this might be one machine that I continue to use.

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our UsersThis arrives fully assembled, which is great! It’s so easy to just sit there and peddle away while watching TV and burn calories without realizing it. I love this! The only thing it is missing is stirrups to hold your feet in place. After a while, my feet begin to slide forward off the pedals. There is a nice ridge on the back of the pedals so your feet won’t slide backwards but no front ridge so feet do slide forward. CAUTION: You can very easily overuse this and maintain good posture when using it. Ease into doing it for a short period of time (maybe no more than 15 mnutes daily). Even a seemingly easy exercise device such as this can give you very sore muscles for weeks especially if you’re older. Also, this item weighs about 25 pounds. It’s nice because the weight prevents it from moving while your pedaling. It also has a sturdy handle to help you lift the device if you want to relocate it. The down side is that because it’s heavy I dread moving it unless absolutely necessary.

Golden Review Award: 78 From Our UsersOk, we got this for Christmas, so we haven’t had it long. After about an hour of use, I noticed that it was starting to squeak when in motion. My daughter, an accoustical engineer, helped me isolate the sound to the wheels squeaking against the metal tracks when in motion. I first tried putting down a strip of duct tape on the tracks, but the squeak continued. I removed the tape, then I cut out strips of felt (black to match the metal) and secured them to the tracks with a little hot glue at the top and bottom of each strip. No more squeak. I will update this review later if it starts squeaking again or the felt wears out too quickly. It seems like some type of stick down permanent pad would work best, so maybe the company needs to add that to their design.

edit: After a couple weeks of using the hot-glued felt, it was working just fine and staying in place, and still no squeak. I decided to upgrade to a stick down pad – kind of like what you use on the bottom of furniture legs to protect the floor. I bought some largeb pads (4×6 inches) and cut strips to fit the wheel tracks. Worked great!

    How to fix the squeak

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersHappy so far!

In this pandemic/working remote/gyms open and close, I had to find a solution. I live in a condo and I don’t have the space to fit a traditional elliptical/treadmill and I don’t think my neighbors downstairs would appreciate! This piece of equipment fits the bill. It is sturdy so does not move when you use it, but a bit on the heavy side to transport, if you are not strong (+/- 25lbs). It is low-vibration, but the heels make a clonking noise on the way back. Since I live in a condo, I had to buy soundproof pads so it won’t bother my downstairs neighbors. Will receive them tomorrow. Hopefully, this will reduce the noise. It is not required to get yourself soundproof pads, but I’m mindful of my neighbors especially because I use this while working and I work a lot. So, if the noise is something you need to be mindful of, know that the pedaling makes a clonking noise when it resumes its initial position.

If you use this while working in front of the computer, make sure you have enough leg room (I do, I measured prior) and you block your computer chair if it has rolling wheels. Mine did and it rolled backwards while I was using it. I just got myself blocking pads on Amazon. Hopefully, this will work. Again, not mandatory if your chair is sturdy and does not move around. Even when I put my chair on the back wall completely, it moved from side to side, so rolling wheels AND this machine is not a great combo. Otherwise, you’ll have to hold onto your table while doing this and it defeats the purpose of training while working.

I also used it yesterday while watching a bit of TV and carrying it around is not impossible but like I said, it’s a bit heavy so if you move it around back n’ forth multiple times a day, I’d suggest switching arms and you’ll get your arm training in between!! If your couch/chair/loveseat is deep, and you don’t have super long legs, beware that you might put a cushion between your back and the sofa as you’ll need support to avoid slouching and bad posture. This tip also applies to any other chair you’ll use. Make sure you put your desk, table, keyboard and monitor in a way that won’t affect your posture in the long run.

You can’t use this while standing. It is mentionned in the instructions but figured I should let you know if the website is not clear.

No assembly required, you only pull out a piece of paper where the monitor is. Once you pull it out, the LCD monitor will activate automatically. It has calories, time, speed and distance. It is not bluetooth so of course, if your watch is smart enough to detect your workout, good. Mine was not smart enough to realize I was moving, so I manually entered the calories into my fitness app.

There are no straps to hold your feet onto the pedals so you could always wrap your feet with elastic cables if it bothers you. I doesn’t really bother me as I find I have the same problem with my feet on a traditional elliptical. Resistance goes up to 8 and believe me, after 10 minutes, you feel the burn. However, I’m not the fittest of them all, so you might plateau’d quicker than I will. This piece of equipment alone is not enough to get a proper training and loose tons of weight, but it is a great addition to pump your heart and get leg training (top it off with lunges and squats and you’re in business). Keep in mind that it does not replace traditional gym, or even running or walking, but it is good enough to assuage my guilty conscience of sitting at a desk 12 hours a day.

So far, I’m happy with this purchase. It is well made, solid, and the price point is reasonnable comparing to other brands.

Of course, because the price point is a bit lower, the color is ugly and styling makes it look like a piece of equipement from the 80’s. The price point justifies those small hiccups so I won’t complain. If I had wanted all the smart tech features, it would have set me back an extra $100. I imagine you can also put resistance bands underneath the pedals and do some strength training with your arms while you pedal. I will have to try.

For this price point, a lot more pros than cons but the manufacturer could surely upgrade the style (at least the color… and the font) without affecting the price. Small tweaks that could increase their profitability.

All in all, I would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI have been pretty much a couch potato for the last fifteen years. Not that I was lazy but due to one medical condition on top of another. I just finished a two year bout of weeping edema where if I didn’t remain in my recliner with my legs propped up, my legs would weep profusely. Just recently I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis. Ha! Surprise, surprise! My doctor suggested I return to the care of my friendly physiotherapist Sandy. It was during my appointment with Sandy that she suggested I get one of the sit down Elliptical Machines. So after scouring Amazon (my favorite shopping mall) I found the Sunny Health and Fitness Portable Elliptical Machine. The price was reasonable and it looked as though it was durable and would also do a good job for me. Plus it has been years since I have been able to do any sort of exercises so if I didn’t stay with the exercise program, I wouldn’t be out hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The machine arrived the next day! Thank you Amazon! Well, the first day exercising was extremely difficult and painful for me. I was on the machine for two minutes. TWO MINUTES! and I had to take three breaks! But I was determined to give this little gizmo a decent try. So everyday I committed to sitting at the machine and forcing my legs to move. By the end of the first week, I was exercising three times a day for five minutes each time ( with breaks in between of course.) It’s hard to explain what this machine has done for me. Not only was I actually exercising but my spirits were climbing in leaps and bounds. I actually look forward to exercising now. I just started week three yesterday and I am on this wonderful, miracle preforming machine, doing ten minutes without stopping to rest, three times a day and my husband has increased the tension up one notch.. I FEEL WONDERFUL!!! My feet and ankles don’t hurt. My legs don’t hurt and my back has only minimal discomfort. This little machine is going to give me back my life! My husband had to help me on and off the machine the first week but since then, I do it all myself, which means even my balance has improved. I know some of you might think I’m exaggerating, but I’m not. I have made a promise to myself that come September 2022, when I celebrate my 81st birthday I will be dancing with my hubby on some dance floor somewhere, or maybe just out on the street in front of our home. Either way…I will be dancing! As always, thank you Amazon and a big thank you to Sunny Health and Fitness for this wonderful, wonderful machine. For all you short folks out there this machine might take some getting use to. Because of the Osteoporosis I now stand a whopping 4ft 9inches tall (I use to be 5’2”) so my hubby and I really worked to find a comfortable distance between my chair and the machine, but once we found it he put a small piece of clear tape on the floor to mark exactly where the front legs of my chair should be when I am getting ready to use the machine. My legs are very short but I kept working to find the right spot for me to reach the foot pedals comfortably. The machine is quite heavy so I had my hubby place it off to the side of the TV and I will just leave it there, forever. 😉 I now just pull a kitchen chair in whenever I am ready to do my exercises. One major thing that has happened to me is I am not having to use my cane 24 – 7 anymore. Again, my balance is improving. and my pain is diminishing. So five stars all around for Amazon and for Sunny Fitness for making this wonderful, wonderful machine. available to us and another five stars for me!!! I now love to exercise! Whoo Hoo! Happy peddling everyone!

Golden Review Award: 819 From Our UsersSetting up the Sunny Health & Fitness unit:
I am so THRILLED that I did not spend over $300 on the expensive more advertised version of this machine made by a different company. I’d have paid for their advertising and glossy box but would not have gotten the great product that I received today (at least it could not have been better). The large box was delivered in 2 days (thank you Amazon Prime) and there was NOTHING to put together! YES! All I did was get rid of the packaging and put it on a mat on the floor (I have tile floors and everything slips on them, so a kitchen rug under the exerciser worked). Note: there is a clear strip of plastic you need to pull out of the side of the digital meter to allow it to start working. That I didn’t notice at first but that was the extent of setup. It was wonderful.

Now about my experience in using it:
I sat in my low comfy leather couch in front of my tv and put my feet into my new Sunny Health & Fitness unit. I didn’t bother to adjust the dial/meter whatever it is, I just started peddling and off I went. It was a little harder than I wanted to peddle so I turned the resistance dial down and off I peddled again. It was great, I watched tv sat on my comfortable couch and exercised. No muss no fuss no problems at all.

    THE PROS:
Price: $100 as opposed to $250 to $350. This unit is a real savings.
Setup: There is nothing to set up but don’t forget that little plastic strip.
Quality: Right up there with the other more expensive products (I have had an opportunity to use my friends more expensive exercise machine and really not a bit better). It is also built very solidly, I’m very impressed. Do put a rug under it, any machine like this needs something to keep it from slipping (yoga mat, kitchen floor rug anything).
Warranty: It comes with a company warranty of 1 year frame and 180 days (6 months) parts warranty. Other companies come with 1 year 90 day warranties or less. Of course you can buy an additional warranty if you feel the need for a few dollars when you check out but it’s important to know that this company stands up for its product better than other companies.

    CONS:
Uhm ….. none yet. I’ve only researched this for months and had it for a short while. I will have to return to this review in 3 and 6 months (May 2020, Aug 2020), to update this product review and let you know how this product does.

IN SUM: This is an affordable 5 star product that I highly recommend to everyone!
