Easy to use , robust , and visible for would be thieves as a deterrent .
Overall, this item will serve its main purpose, but to be honest, I was expecting something a little thicker, more solid, and heavy. This item is lightweight and has a larger outside, but the inside is thinner and almost looks hollow. It looks great and will work as intended, but it isn’t what you might think it is. I would recommend this product with the description it is lightweight and probably not meant for heavy-duty applications. I would have given it 5 stars if lightweight was part of the description.
Bought this hitch lock to put on my caravan can’t go wrong for the cost when i first fitted it to the van i give It a pry and quick test which it held up to have had it on now for a few months left out in all weathers have purposely not covered it at all and happy to say that it still works as good as new with no signs of rust or locking mechanism jamming so would recommend to anyone that wants a visual deterrent and does not want to pay fortune for a lock I must admit I do also have a wheel clamp attached just to add to the deterrent.
Very pleased with this lock which I use on my domestic trailer. Quick and easy to fit, obvious from a distance that a lock is fitted so hopefully will deter the opportunist thief.

After having a prob with the original lock that I bought I have since been sent a replacement lock that I’ve been using for a while now and it works perfectly.

This hitch lock is good deterant really easy to fit and good value for money
This in fairness is not the the best hitch lock but for the money and used with other security devices may be enough to deter a thief.
I will pass this item on to a friend with a trailer who would love this. Its built well and seems to be very strong and secure, if not just a visual deterrent on it’s own.
