We got this for our 9 year-old son’s birthday and he LOVES it! It seems a little tricky at first but he was quick to get the hang of it. Even our 6 year-old has fun with it. I would definitely recommend!
My son absolutely loves this. All his friends have learned how to ride on it. Very easy to learn how to ride. Sound is great!
We have two of these for each of our boys and they LOVE them! Hours and hours of fun. We recently had a small issue with one of them but their customer service is great and they’ve been working with us to rectify the issue. I love when a company stands behind their products!

My 6-yr old loves this hoverboard. It was very easy to learn and she was zooming around in no time. Just over 6 months, it suddenly stopped working. I reached out to customer service who quickly responded with a how to video. When that didn’t work, they sent a detailed procedure for taking a paddle off to try and repair. When that still didn’t work, I shipped back the damaged hoverboard and they sent me a new one as a replacement. Very responsive and super easy to work with. It was really a great experience and they resolved the issue.
September 2, 2022 update – As promised, I received a new hoverboard from the manufacturer. I really thought there were just going to send me a replacement battery. Needless to say that I am pleasantly surprised and VERY happy with the customer service. Thanks again.
Have had this hoverboard for almost 2 years and enjoyed using it. Mostly ride it indoors and on flat paved terrain. Bluetooth features are nice and connectivity works well. Recently I had an issue with the hoverboard. I sent an email to the company and received a response within 3 hours with suggestions on how to resolve my issue. I again followed up and received another response within the day.
I purchased this for my son for Christmas of 2020 and he has used it almost daily since then. He loves that he can connect his music to the board using Bluetooth, and the lights look awesome at night. His hoverboard is the envy of all of his friends, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great gift for a child. Enjoy!!
Bought 2 Tomoloo hoverboards for my 6 yr old Daughter and my 8 yr old Son for Xmas. By far their favorite toy out of many gifts!
Took approx 5 min for my children to learn how to ride and then all bets were off! Able to ride over grass and bumps with no issues. So glad we made the purchase.
Bought for my son’s 8th birthday. We’ve had it a month now. He practiced his balancing in the yard first, then went onto the road. He does not go fast, and keeps a slow pace..and he’s riding that thing for hours. The battery life has been great..alot better than I expected. We charge it, and usually leave overnight to make sure it gets a full charge.
Our one issue, is the charging port pulls out in the board. So we have to slowly disconnect charger, and hold the port a bit to get the charging part off.
I purchased the Tomoloo hover board for my son’s birthday last year and it has been a great gift. Recently though, the hover board started beeping uncontrollably and also shaking. I contacted the company and they gave me instructions on how to reset the system. After this didn’t work, they had me take a video of the problem and send it to them. I am in the process of having the hover board replaced and the company has been helpful through this process.
I will update this review after the return/replacement process is complete.
I purchased this as a Christmas present for my 9 year old daughter and she likes it a lot! Took her a couple of minutes to get the hang of it and start enjoying it.

My 9 years old nephew received this hover board on Christmas Day 2020. In his own words “best Christmas present ever.” It’s easy to learn and he was able to master it quickly. The lights are bright which gives it a sharp appearance and also provides as a safety feature because you can surely see him coming. It’s built well and constructed with high quality materials. The hover board is made to last and will provide hours and miles of fun.
Very stable, easier than others to balance, hoverboard. I purchased this for my daughter as a gift. She immediately was able to easily motivate around with this hoverboard. It is very heavy to pick up so it doesn’t slip. It has party style lights, easy alert indicator lights and sound notifications, and the speaker is amazingly clear with an impressive loud option. It has a very good battery life. She rides intermittently, but constantly throughout the day and it does not need charged all day. Five stars from us all. We’ve exceeded the weight limit listed and it still worked like a charm. We’ve had all ages from 70 down to 7 on it and they all say that they were impressed. It is very sensitive to your touch/movement and responds quickly. Would recommend this to anyone. Just know your limits and use common sense caution.
Both of my kiddos each received a Tomoloo hoverboard for Christmas this year after friends recommended this brand to us. They hopped on and learned to use them right away. The quality is excellent and they’ve been having a blast cruising around inside the house and also outdoors around the neighborhood. They’ve been super happy with the product thus far! The only wish is that the battery lasted even longer than it does. All in all, I’d totally recommend a Tomoloo to anyone who’s in the market for a hoverboard.
My kids (11 & 7 years old) were able to quickly learned to ride by themselves with a few minutes of riding. My 11 yr old was able to comprehend enclosed instructions and tips. Being able to play music is a nice bonus though it would be better if it had a longer range from music source.
We bought a black and a pink 1. Out of the box, the black one’s speaker didn’t work. Went to return and get one just like it, the seller is not doing replacements right now. 12262020. We had to send it back(in process now).. won’t receive our other until Jan 8 which is a huge bummer because my kid will be back in school.
Got this for my 6yr old son for Christmas and he loves it! The LED lights are great and the bluetooth speakers work perfect. It was worth the money. I was just bummed it didn’t come with a bag like the last one we bought. But that’s just minor. It shipped quick which I was thankful for…

We gave this gift to my 9 year old son for Christmas and he won’t get off of it. I spent a long time researching different boards and doing my best to do my due diligence. There are so many boards out there with different features, limitations and styles, but I’m glad I settled on this one. The price was a good price for a first time board (it did not break the bank). Whatever tech has been added to aide in balance and learning how to ride works. I can’t speak from experience because sadly I am over the weight limit, but my son was riding around the house like a pro within 10 minutes. Pro tip: charge the unit the night before giving it so it can be ridden right away. He has fallen a couple of times, but never out of control. When purchasing, I was not really interested in the LED lights, but it does really add to the overall fun of the device – you can tell they took some care into the patterns and the colors. It’s hard to tell how long the batter lasts, but the unit charges very very quickly comparatively. Overall, I am happy with this purchase so far.
I was quite unsure which hoverboard to get as a gift for my son, but I am pleased with my purchase. It arrived quickly. The lights are fun and I think the kids will be awed by the lights. I am happy with the battery life—so far no issues. Initially I was concerned with the bumpiness, but after gaining a bit of confidence and practice time (after approx 5-10 min of playing on it) I was able to minimize and then eliminate it. It is quick to learn. Now when I step on, the riding is smooth! I (small female adult) have used it indoors on laminate flooring, thin berber carpet, standard pile carpet, and over floor rugs and floor transitions and am satisfied with the ride. Although, of course, it does not move as fast on the carpets as on the hard flooring, it still handles and turns very well.
I bought this for my 8-year old granddaughter. It took her about 5 minutes to balance correctly and after that she was whipping around, doing dance steps, and having a great time. The lights are really great and we were surprised when we hooked up the bluetooth with the ipod that the sound from the board was as good. She road it on the carpet and then the driveway. She rode up and down hills with little problem. The stabilizer feature is great and makes it easier to handle. She’s done a fair amount of riding on one charge.
We bought this for Christmas and I wanted to give it a few months before I wrote. a review. The only one that can ride it is my daughter and she loves it. She rides it around the house and seems to have no trouble maneuvering around. She has never fallen. Others were not as lucky! You need good balance and motor skills for the this. My daughter gives this product 4 stars because it vibrates at low speeds. She does not like that.
It is heavy and charges fine and has been a great gift for this odd age!
Love the whole concept – lights and music -are really cool! Speakers work well. My daughter only weighs about 70 pounds And the first hover board we purchased she could not make go with both feet at the same time. This hover board is far superior, but pay attention to the weight the Max weight is 165. My 16 yr son is 180 so I’m nervous to let him on it and I kind of wanted him to help her learn how to do it so that’s the only downside.
While she was super excited to get it, she was nervous when she first tried it out — she even asked if she could wear her bicycle helmet while she was riding it indoors — but her apprehension turned out to be a great thing. She was very careful as she learned how to make it stop, go forward and backward and turn. She took time to learn how what she did with her body impacted her ride. I walked beside and behind her for the first 5-10 minutes as she gained a little confidence, and she hasn’t looked back since. She has been zipping through the house now and absolutely loves it.
The only negative is the charge life. I guess “negative” is too strong of a word. The battery life is about what I expected. It’s good for a couple of hours or a little more and then has to be recharged. I gave the battery life three stars for meeting expectations. It’s currently charging for the second time today, and she started using it about six hours ago. But, she loves it, and I have to say that I do, too. It’s an impressive, and fun, little machine.
OMG people the product is made in China! What did you expect? I’ve read hundreds of reviews from different hoverboards ranging from 100$ to 399$ and all the reviews are the same no matter how much you spend. These things aren’t ment to last a lifetime. Remember that kids are using these so they’re bound to rough them up. Don’t be surprised that they don’t last as long as you wished they would. Oh and remember reviews are not always written honestly. Manufacturers are fighting amongst themselves to earn your dollar!!! Geeze!
One star off because they sent the wrong model or the description was wrong. One letter difference on in model number and has all different features. Buyer beware. I know if I contacted Amazon they would make good on the purchase, try taking the Hoverboard away from you child and say in two weeks your new one will be in, impossible. The hoverboard it self, just fine, but because they did not ship the correct one, cant tweek the setting in the app. I have no issues with the board, all fun.
My daughter loves this Hoverboard. We just received this Hoverboard and so far it’s been working very well. It gets it’s job done and the price you can’t beat. The lights and music are nice features and make it that much better! I have had a lot of buddy’s buy them for there kids and they had nothing but problems so all I have to say is don’t waste your time on all the other hooverboard just skip the junk and go straight TOMOLOO!!!
We gifted this to our son on his 11th Birthday. Boy was it a hit. He did have to wait four hours for it to initially charge but with a few minutes of instability on it, he somehow mastered it. Granted, he has used it only inside the house and at low speeds but until he feels comfortable, I’m not letting him loose in the culdesac. He loves the lights specially at night with the house lights off. LOL. He loves the Bluetooth option to play his music or listen to his Youtuber of the month. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to make the lights with a ON/OFF switch. A family member suffers from seizures and I’m afraid it would trigger a seizure if the saw it. All around appears to be a good sturdy and fun product for the young and fearless crowd.
My son loves it. Battery last a long time and the music feature is great. The only thing we aren’t too happy is that it doesn’t tell you how much battery life is left. No indicator. It goes from green to red and once red you need to stop using it. Once light turns red it means less than 15% is left but that goes quickly and then the board will just shut off. It’s a shame the battery doesn’t have an percentage indicator like others brand do. Kinda annoying but I guess we will just charge it more frequently.
With SO many different types of Hoverboards out there, it was a hard decision to make, but based on the reviews and the light up features of this Hoverboard, I went for it for a Christmas gift for my 8 year old son. It has been a great purchase. He learned to ride it smoothly within 10 minutes! We have had it out on the road as well and it worked fine, even over little rocks. We did not go too far so I cannot verify the charge capacity and he never rides it continuously for hours. Overall a great product .
My Son turned 6 years old last month. This hover board was his b’day gift from us. Earlier, I was confused and it was really hard to choose with lots of brands and variety available. However, I selected this based on the reviews and i am pleased to say that this undeniably perfect with all the features such as bluetooth speaker and colorful lights. My Son has made it a point to dance on this after coming from school at least for an hour if he is not scheduled for any other indoor activity which makes a little less boring for him at home in winter. overall, this is worth the money spent. Awesome Hover Board.
My 12 year old son was thinking about what he wanted for his birthday, and mentioned a hoverboard, but wasn’t 100% sure. I did some research online as I was concerned about safety, and discovered the Tomoloo brand had great ratings. We were not disappointed. It is high quality, and easy to learn navigation. The material is heavy duty, and we have had no safety issues thus far. My older son and I have also had a lot of fun riding it, and enjoy the lights and bluetooth music. Most of our riding time has been indoors, as there is snow on the ground. My older teen wants one for Christmas. The only downside is the weight limit of 165 pounds.
I bought hover board for my daughter on her 10th birthday. She loved it and really enjoying the ride. It was really easily to ride as this is the first time she got on and quickly got it, as this have self balancing feature. It does not look cheap it is quite heavy. Even my son who is 15 years old also liked it and riding it all the time. I will defiantly recommend this product as it is solid seems like it will go long time. The only one thing I like to change if possible the battery life it is good but if it stays little longer will be great.
I can’t recommend that others purchase this item. I bought it for my niece for her birthday. This was the only thing she wanted for her birthday and so far, the item has not been the gift she hoped for.
It had the lights go out on one side of the board.
It takes multiple attempts to calibrate it before each use.
The item cannot be returned directly to Amazon, which I learned after attempting to do so, and the manufacturer has yet to reply to my sister’s request for assistance via email.
It’s sturdy, and yes, a little heavy, but my kids don’t have much of a need to pick it up. It came packaged nicely in a box with a carrying handle that I think I’ll save for when I don’t want to just toss it in the back of the car. Instructions were ok, but found it most helpful to just find a video on youtube on how to ride. I don’t much notice the lights and haven’t yet synced my phone for music, but like that those are features/options. I had spent some time reading reviews and researching before I bought this one. It was a combination of the great reviews and pricing that ultimately led me to pick this one.
