The story of TRIXIE began with a three-and-a-half tonne truck and a Dane. When businessman Bonnik Hansen loaded his truck with dog leashes, toys and chewing bones, he had no idea that his one-man business would develop into a European market.
In spite of its fast growth and success, the company has remained down-to-earth and authentic. Everybody is on a first-name basis, meetings take place at eye level, and we deal with each other in a fair and open way. A regular exchange of ideas with is equally important to us as the reliable and helpful processing of enquiries.

Looks so much nicer than baby gate. Very sturdy. Only lost a star as came with no feet.
Easy to assemble only the holes to screw feet on useless
Off no warning nothing didn’t even feel loose, then one of the foot rest fell off I now need probably longer screws and glue to try out it back together againthis wasn’t built to be durable or even to use as a dog gate! Disappointed
Absolutely thrilled. Was looking for a stylish easily moved dog gate and I found it in this doggy gate! So pleased and looks fantastic. Can also easily move it all around the house!
Very easy to use, keeps my little dog in one room. My bigger dog can jump over the gate if she wants to. Came already assembled, so could use it straight away
This has been brilliant for me. I initially bought it as I am having work done on bathroom and didn’t want a fixed stair gate drilled in to the wall but needed to stop the puppy going up and bothering the workmen.
Since then I have used it to block the kitchen when I am cooking, and the front door when I am answering it or taking rubbish out etc. Also put it over the back door to stop access to garden while I was painting the decking.
Looks really stylish. Easy to attach feet and really easy to pick up and move wherever you need it.

This gate was perfect for us as we had a stairs that didnt allow for a gate. Its very very sturdy and keeps our dachshund out. Looks premium too.
I bought this for my puppy so I can have front door opened and he can see the world, LOVE IT as I don’t need to fix to wall, great looking and very sturdy
Bought this to stop our small dogs going into the garden but allowing me to leave conservatory doors open. Sturdy gate, easy to manoeuvre. All you need to do is attach the ‘feet’ to the gate using screws provided into the pre drilled holes – easily done. It’s great.
Perfect for top of the stairs and bottom easy to move around the house and keep the puppy in one place
It’s a handy gate it’s well made not sure if a medium sized dog could get over it ! Ok for a smaller dog
I love this, looks really good in the house and keeps my crazy golden retriever from getting up the stairs when I don’t want him to. Comes all together in the box already so all you have to do is pull it out and prop it up. Worth every penny. Wouldn’t waste money on baby gates that you put on the wall. This is so much better.
Purchased to stop our Shi Tsu getting out of the cat flap. Had tried expensive dual scan cat flap but dog worked out she could get out if “tail gated” a cat. The gate allows the cats to jump over to access cat flap but stops dog. Also allows us to answer the door without dog escaping.
This gate is brilliant, sturdy but easy to move, keeps our Labrador puppy in, but is low enough for the cat to jump over when he wants peace! It’s study and well made and as a big plus actually looks good, so much better that fiddly toddler gates. We bought one for downstairs, and immediately another for upstairs to keep puppy safe from the stairs. Lifesaver!
Looks attractive, sturdy enough for a small dog, probably not for larger dogs. Easy to assemble. Covers a gap too big for a baby gate, also more versatile as it can be moved easily when not needed.
Really well packaged and in excellent condition. Very easy to put together. Sturdy for a small dog to stop access to the staircase. No good for a dog bigger than a Jack Russell. Very pleased with the purchase.
This pet gate looks fab. I’m impressed by how sturdy it is, it looks a lot more expensive than what it is. Its perfect for my two little dogs
The gate looks lovely, much nicer than any other gate, but it does not not serve its purpose. We have a chihuahua and she can push the gate, making a gap for her to get out. It’s too light, dog can move it, so really it’s useless

This is a great Gate. Well made and arrived in perfect condition. One point. The specification says it weighs 1kg. Wrong! More like 4-5kg. You nearly lost a sale as I thought it must be flimsy. Wrong again. Highly recommended
Needed a gate to stop inquisitive Shih Tzu. Not rock solid as the clever girl worked her way round it eventually but pleased with it nonetheless. Attractive piece of furniture. Would recommend to others with small dogs.
We like the fact that the gate is moveable and can be put in various locations and in various positions as and when needed, e.g. at the bottom of the stairs or at the top or blocking off a doorway
This is the second of these we have had and only replaced the first as it had had the benefit of two teething puppies and was a tad distressed.
Really good, strong gate and the three sections allow either the stairs of doorway to be blocked depending on where we need to contain the dogs.
Every likelihood that we would try for a third if still on the market when we come to replace our latest version.
Just what we need to keep my French bull dog safe as live by main road I sit this in the hall when I know people or deliveries are coming and can put out the way when not needed as folds up . Loved it so much I brought another one for up stairs. Much nicer that the basic gates and can use anywhere , even by French doors .
Better looking addition to the house over a standard baby gate, however I’ve found it can easily be pushed over and jumped over by excitable puppies! A taller one would work better for me.
I needed a stairgate for my medium-sized dog, but having failed to find one that fitted my wide staircase I decided to purchase this freestanding one, although it was more expensive than most standard gates. The first one i ordered arrived with a hairline crack in it so I sent it back and received another one which is in perfect condition and does the job. The advantage of a freestanding one is that it is easily moved around the home if you need to contain your dog in different areas and you don’t need to drill any holes in your walls or staircase.
I was hesitant to purchase because of the price, however I wanted something that didn’t involve a permanent fixture. Had tried other baby-type gates which were poor quality and ultimately looked horrible. We LOVE this gate. It is so versitile, has worked perfectly across doorways or stairs of even just a temporary pen in a corner of a room. It is light weight and looks good – all our visitors have commented on how cute it looks with the bone design. Best part is, when we don’t want it out on view it can be put away elsewhere. Worth every penny. Admittedly, not ideal for medium to big dogs as they would have the strength to move or knock over, but for smaller dogs would highly recommend.
I thought it was a little expensive at first compared to another I had seen online, but now I see the quality and that it is very stable with the extra feet keeping it upright, it was worth every penny. My dog wouldn’t be able to knock it down and more than anything it has been effective as a visual deterrent.
Delivery was also quick and arrived sooner than expected.
