The story of TRIXIE began with a three-and-a-half tonne truck and a Dane. When businessman Bonnik Hansen loaded his truck with dog leashes, toys and chewing bones, he had no idea that his one-man business would develop into a European market.
In spite of its fast growth and success, the company has remained down-to-earth and authentic. Everybody is on a first-name basis, meetings take place at eye level, and we deal with each other in a fair and open way. A regular exchange of ideas with is equally important to us as the reliable and helpful processing of enquiries.

Das Gitter eignet sich super, um meine freilegenden, nagefreudigen Kaninchen aus den Rumen fernzuhalten, die nicht gesichert sind. Bislang hat auch noch keines versucht, drber zu springen. Optisch die bislang beste Lsung, lsst sich gut auf die Trbreite justieren.
Ein Stern Abzug, weil beim Zusammenbau das Eindrehen einer Schraube zu leichtem Splittern des Holzrahmens gefhrt hat, trotz der werkseitigen Vorbohrung.

During assembly you need to decide whether you’re going to use it on stairs or free standing on the floor or doorway. The difference is where you put the screws – different screw holes in the base. So it can’t be switched from stairs to doorway quickly without taking it apart and re-assembling it again.
I have it in the hallway blocking off a passageway which leads to stairs and front door. So I can open the front door to the postman without my puppy making a run for for the road. (He’s as thick as a plank so would be off down the road chasing cars given half a chance)
I’ve had it around a month now and my puppy is growing fast so at around 6kg he can almost knock it over when he really wants to. Another few weeks and I’ll need to think about something else. But it’s served its purpose very well.
I’m more than happy with it.
When I’m done with it as a puppy demarcation line I’ll use the panels in the garden as trellis for me peas.
Purchased ahead of puppy arrival and bearing in mind hrs a miniature dachshund I’m not happy that it’s fallen apart. Clearly sliding it to leave or enter rooms was more than it could cope with. Poor value for price

While the gate works for what I needed, which was keeping dogs away from plants, it would not be sturdy enough for an unsupervised determined dog to get through. The wood is also ‘soft’ and a chewer could easily destroy it.

Elle est plus jolie que je ne le pensais. Me sert beaucoup pour mes deux yorkshires qui restent sagement derrire. Je l’ai installe sur le milieu du pied, car elle est plus stable ainsi. Par contre un renfort sous la barrire, vers le milieu serait judicieux car lorsqu’elle est compltement ouverte, le milieu penche un peu sous le poids des grilles. Dans l’ensemble, j’en suis trs contente.

I have two small dogs that wont try and charge through it…but it could be pushed over or moved if its not got two walls(see pic) to wedge the feet .
Overall very pleased as it’s done job and it’s much less ugly than a standared baby gate.

Really useful in any doorway. Easy to pick up – because it’s neither big nor heavy – and move to another one. Even used at front door when v. hot. I wish I had bought one years ago. The white looks nice against white paintwork and walls.
