The Airfly Duo is small but a great solution for wireless Bose AirPods or headphones when travelling by plane.
Clear instructions and very easy to setup and connect. This will be my constant companion when travelling.
Great little device to connect your Airpods on flights. Easy to connect and use and good battery life. A little expensive!
I was sceptical the device would work. But it was spot on. So easy to connect on virgin flight. No delay in sound. I used my Apple earbuds to listen to film.
On return journey I had to charge up the device, but this was not a problem, I charged it while it was in use.
The AirFly pro works flawlessly with my 2nd gen refurbished iPod mini I got a long side it, pairs to my Powerbeats pro perfectly and plugs in to my Bose quietcomfort 15 to use with my Bluetooth smart tv. Will definitely recommend to anyone.
Has extended the life of my ipod classic as this just goes in the headphones output socket.
Pairs with Samsung Galaxy earbuds.
Great purchase
Brilliant! Super easy to use and set up and an absolute game-changer for flights. If you’re thinking about buying one, do it!
Bought so could use Apple AirPod Max on airplane – works perfectly, have never noticed any lag with the sound, and still works while plugged in to usb charger if battery running low for particularly long haul travel or if forgot to charge it!
This exceeded my expectations. I set it up in my gym with a Sky Q mini box which I wanted to connect to my headphones via bluetooth – it works faultlessly!
Absolutely love this. Seamless paired with my Bose earbuds. No drops in connection and was able to interface with entire in-flight entertainment system without a hitch.
Highly recommend if you travel and hate the cheap,
plastic and poor quality in-flight headphones that are normally supplied.
Works flawlessly. You need a usb-c adapter to 3.5mm if your ipad or phone doesn’t have a 3.5mm socket. Or a lightning to 3.5mm adapter for new iPhones
Can lose connection but husband loved it for our 7 hour fight. The no/off has seems to have rubbed off but still works. It’s pricey but hopefully worth the money.
Used this for the first time on a flight last week and it delivered a great experience. Using my earbuds instead of headphones was great. It linked to my buds first time and it never lost the connection.
A good purchase indeed
Sound quality is really good as long as yoI not connecting it to the charger when using it.
If you connecting it to the socket , it makes background noise
Fairly easy to connect to my AirPods Pro
A google search bought up the AirFly Pro and a read was enough to convince me this was the item to buy, especially as it’s also available in the Apple Store and I was going to use it with the old AirPods 2 and the latest AirPods Pro2.
The AirFly Pro arrived today and does not disappoint, simple to pair to both sets of AirPods and really good audio when using the TV and the Naim, yes there is a slight audio mismatch which I can correct with a setting in the TV.
So all in all no complaints and a recommended product. For some reason the price increased overnight after my purchase, yes I’m going to get another AirFly Pro but not until it’s on offer, having said that even at the inflated price it’s still cheaper than buying in the Apple Store.
I hope it works as well for you as it does for me.
This is my second AirFly Pro (the first was stolen) and it is excellent. I can’t recommend it highly enough if you need to listen to audio on the go and can’t connect your phone any other way.
Once set up this was great with my AirPods and Bluetooth skullcandy headphones. My AirPods Pro’s were a bit more difficult but a quick video on YouTube and they were sorted. Great for the flight and battery didn’t need recharging on a long flight.
Used for two long haul KLM flights with my Bose NR headphones – no noticeable lag and they have a USB power outlet on the screen as well so 12 hours was no problem – might be worth getting an extender for BA type armrest connections (which are a stupid idea) to prevent damage as the plug will be rubbed as you move
This is brilliant to take on a plane just in case it isn’t one of the newer ones you can easily pair with your headphones. Easy to use, really good battery life & excellent sound quality with my noise cancelling headphones.
Remember to check that you’re in transmit mode, and also when pairing DO NOT HAVE IT PLUGGED INTO THE AUDIO SOCKET, plug it in once paired, this improves connection. Successfully paired 2 Apple AirPods so both can watch a single screen film. There is a very slight audio delay but it is negligible. Remeber to keep the AirPods in the charging case when pairing.
Really easy to use, sound is perfect. Battery could be better but I think that’s down to not switching off the device after use. Can plug into anything and receive sound to my AirPods Pro. Really good piece of equipment.
Game changer!! Makes journeys with the kids so much better now they can watch the same thing without sharing earphones!
I’ve used it at the gym plugged in to the treadmill too and worked perfectly.
Used it a lot and not had to charge it up yet. Can’t recommend enough
