Needs 2 people to assemble and one of them needs strength. Video on assembly helpful, albeit he raced through everything.
Bought this for my daughter who is 18 and she loves it my husband enjoys it too.
Would recomend
This was a replacement product as the straps broke on the first one. Same thing happened on the replacement. Used for walking only, not jumping, the threads holding the straps seem to break, and the straps detach. Not fit for purpose, if used daily.
Love it, unfortunately it does squeak a little and is not totally silent but I’m super happy with it overall
You do need muscles to install this. Instructions could be better.
Took a little work to thread the elastic through but works brilliantly.
It was though, not easy to put together, it took about an hour and I had to take a few breaks to prevent my hands from blistering, also had to use lotion a few times as it really dried out my hands, however the provided bar to stretch and close the ends was very helpful. My mum bought I different model (that was on sale from Wayfair) and it had a much simpler, pain free way to assemble (I did it in half the time).
I’ve had this product for a day now and have spent a couple hours on it so far, it’s so comfortable, feels very sturdy, the handle offers great support and I’m really enjoying using it. Overall, very happy with my purchase
My daughter (although she might be below the recommended age) loves it. My wife and I use it for exercise as well. Was a bit of hard work to assemble and is not easy to store but is a good piece of ki
Trampoline is great, really sturdy and very bouncy. Easy to assemble. The only issue was the handle, the way it had been packed caused there to be deep depressions on the foam handle. Am hoping in time this won’t wear down to the metal. It’s the only bit that let’s the product down!
Very good quality at affordable price and Fast delivery! 5*
Only downside is that is quite big and being hexagonal is pretty hard to store.
I keep mine on a side in the shed.
Have only had it three days but so far so good! I was able to assemble it myself and I’m not overly strong. It did take me the best part of an hour.
The trampoline its self feels very sturdy and safe. It’s also fun! You get a good workout without really noticing and with far less stress on joints.
Do check the size though! I was shocked at how big it was but now I’ve been using it I’m actually glad it’s bigger than I expected.
Assembly not as hard as I expected going from previous product reviews, however you do need a strong hand to complete. Used it a few times and very impressed. Seems good and strong, great quality. Would recommend.
Brilliant sturdy piece of equipment. Easier to put together than I thought. Tool they include is excellent. Could put together on own, but two is easier. I bounce away all through the day. Love it. We’ll worth the money
Take no notice about it’s difficult putting it up.
I’m a woman and I put it up on my own, a child could do it
Highly recommend
Hard to assemble but great once up definitely worth getting
All my clients love the trampolines!! Great product!!
In the building stages this would’ve got a 3 as it was so difficult to get the strength to pull the tabs tight to create the suspension on the base. My super strong hubby was struggling so I’d have had no chance. That aside, although it really wasn’t easy and he used lots of choice language throughout the process, once it was fitted getting the handle attached was easy and then it was usable. It’s great and perfect if you like rebounding. I’m 12 stone and it was fine leaping up with legs higher than the handlebar as per my rebounding class and it was comfortable on the bounce. A great item that has been a hit for me.
Assembly
———–
The trampoline comes flat packed. The first stage of assembly is deceptively easy. Just slot the metal frame together, upside down, with those little pegs you push in and that spring back. Then the whole frame can be turned the other way around so it stands on the feet properly. After that, the fun begins (and by fun I mean sweat and swearing).
The trampoline itself is a single piece of fabric, this is held on the frame by 6 pieces of thick elastic looped through the ends on each side. The instructions are pretty poor but the general idea is to do opposite ends first because if you don’t the fabric will already be stretched to one side and it will be impossible to add the elastic loop the other side.
Even doing it the proper way, adding one side means the fabric is stretched before you get to the other side, so some adjustments need to be made. This involved (for us) pulling at the elastic really hard and then pulling the next loop around to move the trampoline outward. The best advise for starting this that I can give is just to leave a very small bit sticking out of the first loop each time because you’ll need to keep the rest as slack as possible until you finish.
After you’ve finally got all 6 sides done (and had a few cups of tea) there are hooks at each end of the elastic with a metal hoop keeping them together that need to be stretched to a small cavity under each corner of the frame. The metal should keep these in place, stretching the whole elastic and keeping it bouncy. There’s a metal tool to do this but we found just pulling with our hands was easier in the end. I’m a little concerned that there are no added parts to keep these in place because if one goes it will slacken the trampoline, I’m currently looking to find my own solution to make them safer.
The final piece is to put together the handle, which is in two parts and takes a couple of minutes to screw in with the included Allen key.
Use
—-
Once you’ve recovered from all that you’ll obviously want to use the trampoline. I can honestly say this is by far the most rewarding part!! We’ve actually got ours outside under a glass veranda because it’s too big for our lounge but it works well out there, despite being made for indoors. It’s got just the right amount of bounce and even takes my weight (though my daughter has told me she has banned me from it because she doesn’t want it breaking!).
Overall
——–
Hard to assemble but great when it’s done. Only slight concern over how the elastic is held at each end but has held up fine so far.
The kids have a big 10ft trampoline outside that they use a lot. It’s probably their favourite thing to do along with go on the computer. But sometimes it rains and they can’t bounce on it. Also if one of the adults of the house (i.e. mum) wanted to use the trampoline outside it might look a bit undignified. This is an indoor trampoline that can be used on rainy days and can be used privately without worrying about what nosy neighbours might think (although the neighbours may instead wonder what is the constant up and down springing sound coming from your house instead -nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
This trampoline has been made for adults and children from age 14 and up (not children lower than 14 because “it may be difficult for younger children to cope with the physical and dynamic characteristics of the trampoline mat, because they do not yet have the required coordination skills”) but in our household the kids (all below the age of 14) will be using it the most. And this is because we judge they can use it sensibly and safely. (The manual says “If you allow your children to use the product you should take their mental and physical development into account and, most importantly, their temperament.” Consider it done.)
True this trampoline doesn’t have a safety net like you’d get with a bigger outdoor trampoline but for an indoor trampoline that would be overkill, plus the secure (and adjustable) handlebar helps you avoid nasty accidents. (Note on the handlebar – its lowest setting means little kids will have to reach up high for it if they want to hold it.)
The trampoline comes in parts upon arrival and requires assembly. The manual covers this with easy to follow picture instructions with written steps that are clear and easy to follow. The languages in the manual are German, British, French, Italian and Spanish. Also in the manual are some suggested, simple exercises for the trampoline which are useful to have. Some of the trampolines like this come with exercise DVDs but I would say it is sufficient to get one without a DVD, and the written manual with pictures does cover the basics. If you really want to follow something though, perhaps to help with motivation, load up a YouTube video (there are a few I noticed via a quick search, although not necessarily so many in English).
Assembly took a while. Unlike the outdoor trampoline which uses springs to attach the mat to the frame this uses 6 elasticated ropes (one for each side of the hexagon). It works well, but obviously the ropes become harder to fit as the mat becomes more stretched. Still if we can manage putting this together securely then so should pretty much everyone. And assembly happens only once then you’re set to use this hassle-free.
This trampoline does have the disadvantage of being just a one-person trampoline whereas the outdoor one can be used by more people but that is okay given indoor space is limited anyway. Anyway my kids love it (but I might move it downstairs as it makes a lot of noise upstairs as they jump on it with the floorboards creaking).
I left it to my wife to review this trampoline:
This Ultrasport jumping fitness trampoline was easy enough to put together, no special tools required. My husband and I completed it in around 30 minutes. Once up it appears sturdy enough and well made. After several sessions using it, I’m quite happy with it for its intended purpose, ie as a fitness accessory. The mat part which you bounce on seems very adequate and is really springy! Having a handle is great, in fact its a necessity really. It makes certain exercises much easier, plus gives you a bit more confidence if you’re not particularly used to using a trampoline for exercise. Prevents you flying off into the surrounding furniture. I do feel it may be a bit pricey, at just over 100, for what it is. There are other similar indoor trampolines available at quite a bit less money. But then again the quality does seem to be rather good on this particular model.
The trampoline arrives in a box with all the pieces for you to put together. This is a fairly simple process that can be done by one person, but do allow about an hour, as the threading of the red elasticated rope can be a little tricky when the mat comes under tension. This is where a bit of brute strength is required, especially when using the supplied tool to hook the ropes to the frame.
The handle is conveniently adjustable to various heights to suit the individual user. The handle is also cleanable, if one user gets up quite a sweat. I found myself getting a little too exuberant and the back end of the trampoline lifted off the ground, but this could just be me ? The recommended maximum body weight of the user is 100kg.
This trampoline can be used either for fun and the sheer exhilaration and pleasure of physical movement, especially by the young, or for the more serious activity of strengthening the muscles of the neck, shoulders, arms and legs. It will also strengthen the stomach muscles and, in conjunction with a sensible diet, it can be regarded as a useful exercise machine for losing excess weight. A few minutes on the trampoline is probably the equivalent to a jog, or run, around the neighbourhood, and can be done inside the home, rather than braving the outside elements.
I found this trampoline to be a lot easier on my back; other trampolines seem to aggravate my sciatic condition, but I actually felt comfortable whilst exercising, which is a massive plus for this particular make and model of indoor trampoline. I also found the trampoline is a lot quieter whilst exercising than our previous cheaper, spring type, trampolines. Well made, strongly constructed from quality materials, this is a 5 star product.
