Great quality, well built light with Samsung chip drivers ( hopefully ) will increase longevity. Bright crisp light and good range. Its five stars from Nigel
Does what it say, so far so good!
Really bright and easy to install
The light arrived promptly and was easy enough to fit, but only because I had a waterproof connector I could use. I don’t know what ruler they were using to measure 30cm, but they need a refund on it. it was closer to 150mm.
Good value quality unit. The downside is the cable length, it needs to be double what it is or have an integrated connection.
Product (50w) arrived well, and was easy enough to fit. I was replacing an old floodlight and found that the flex on this model is on about 6″ so I was had to buy a waterproof connect (3-5) and simply splice the two cables together.
Very happy with the light it lights up all my garden n very good quality n great devices thank you
Please note – I HAVE TWO LIGHT UNITS over patio 12 x 30f
Bought this in Sept 2019, as of July 2022 it’s no longer useful. Has one of the LED lines still just about working, but the light is very dim now so as to be effectively useless.
Great when it was working, nice and bright and as described. I expected it would last a bit longer than it has though.
Coupled this with a 240v microwave sensor, rather than PIR. Works perfectly and the light emitted is brilliant, much better than the previous lap light that failed after a year.
I always try to use V-TAC LED lights and battons as I have found them to be long lasting. Just hope the latest purchase continues the trend.
Bought this to replace another brand of 30W 4000k LED floodlight that failed twice in 3 yrs. Good value for money and seems as bright as the others. Only gripe I have is that the cable was a bit small (didn’t seem 30cm) which made installation a bit tricky. Other than that, it’s a nice compact LED.
Thought it would be a little bit more brighter, but ok, not disappointed.
.. Gives out a really bright light, easy to install, and covers a large field at the back of my parents house.brilliant buy
I have to say that in the 12 years I’ve been lighting my garden and patio, this is the very best product I have ever used. I am delighted. And the warranty offered inspires added confidence. A word of advice here – if you are illuminating any kind of vegetation, then do not go for cool white. Use day white or warm white. Your plants will respond with an impressive display. Value for money is unbeatable.
These lights are of a very high quality. Neat, tidy, super bright and easy to install. Highly recommended
I’ve written this because of John, ‘the Electrician’ review above. I’d love to know which reg this is contravening? And why an ‘Electrician’ was working to the 17th edition in 2019?
Anyway, this item requires a adaptable box adjacent, I’d recommend a Wiska 206 with a couple of 20mm plastic stuffing glands and three Wago connectors. In the long run this is much better anyway, when a lamp fails it makes replacement a breeze. It’s also how I’d install a pir with the Wiska box also next to it.
lead from light is a little short but still long enough to connect to a junction box as regards the light output ,excellent ! lights the garden up like daylight i have x2 x 50 watts lights on the back wall of house pointing down a 20 meter garde
Previous identical one got water ingress after 12mon but it seems there aren’t lots of competitors, so hoping that was just bad luck
Connection cable should be little longer. They are too short. They might be 5 cm longer.
Very pleased with this product I purchased 2 20w led lights and so far they look good they are compact in size but the light given out by these is very good would recommend this product good buy I will be buying some more
I bought this to replace an other LED 150w lamp which developed a fault. I was in two minds as to whether I got the same again or buy this. I am so pleased that I decided on this. It was so simple to install and the output means I do not have to fit another lamp at the end of my garden because this covers it. It is heavy and quite large but wow, what a lamp.
Great light. Easy to install but wire was shorter than described resulting in a junction box on the outside of garage. Longer wire would have allowed it to go through brick and joint inside garage out of the weather. Light is good and bright and seems good quality.
Just needed a weatherproof connection box and cable gland from Screwfix or other source to complete the installation and make good previous drilled holes in the mortar for aesthetics!!
You will need screws and rawlplugs too as nothing supplied with the lamp.
Best to remove LED lamp bracket for initial assembly to wall as it is almost impossible to screw bracket with the lamp attached!!
Far better illumination than I had imagined from such a small unit throwing light well over 10sq metre patio and into the garden!
