I was able to clean my very restricted chimney with a few passes. My only complaint is that some of the connectors would uncouple while using. A great alternative to hiring out to a chimney sweep. It can be done from inside the house and from the roof, if you need to.
Got these for hubby to clean the chimney on our stove . He absolutely loved them. Did an incredible job, brought down more soot even after it had been cleaned only a few weeks previously. Also did our daughters and it removed a lot of compacted soot . Easy to use just stick it on your drill and away you go adding a new rod as you go. Highly recommend.

My husband and has cleaned one chimney with this so far and it’s paid for itself already. He found it easy to use and very effective.
Just used this once. Easy to fit together and easy to use. Flexible and seems to clean well. Pushed it up the chimney and it disconnected with two rods attached at the top. Was able to release with the spare brush. Undecided as I’m in sure if the rod connectors are robust enough to last.
I used this to clean my dryer vent, My pellet stove pipe, and my 6″ wood stove pipe. Worked well on each item. I kept the drier on when cleaning that and the amount of stuff out of the vent was amazing to me.

Buttons that detach the length of the pieces were nearly impossible to remove either before use or after use. lengths because they’re stiff and break when you try to detach lengths of polls while extending Reach

If you break the attachment to your drill the whole item is useless and easy to do because the push button detachable clips are impossible without two people and a soft tool to push the button don’t do this alone ! Person needs to hold it and the other person needs to find out how to push the button without breaking the whole thing and getting stuck with this item that won’t work anymore
Expect this to be a one used item you cannot use this two times even if you buy the brush heads because the clips are too stiff and makes it useless because you can’t take it apart once you get it way up inside the chimney. Buy at your own risk but it does save you money but a terrible hassle to use
I have a woodstove chimney . Due to its height I can’t get to the top. This fixed that as I can clean it from the bottom. The fiber rods bent when I needed them to. I used my battery screw driver so no cords involved. The only issue I had was I topped the pipe and had difficulty getting the brush back down. Did an excellent job and took away the fear of a chimney fire. Highly recommend

This tool is amazing for cleaning the chimney. You just attach to your drill, connect the extenders as you insert it up the chimney and run the drill to clean. Way better than getting up on the roof!
worked well going up the chimney. made a mess and be prepared to be covered in soot but did a surprisingly well job. Only con is if the drill is on to high sometimes some of the rods came apart.

I bought this kit to see how easy it would be to clean my wood burner chimney. Simple to put together and dismantle and attached to my power drill I had the spinning brush up and down my chimney in no time at all. I will do this twice a year minimum and the saving is fantastic
Works perfectly, the only thing to watch out for is that they are connected properly, make sure the spring loaded is fully through, you’ll know what I mean when you put it together, 5star from me
I had chimney flue blockage that I wasn’t able to relieve with a brush from above. This product cleared it from the wood stove pipe connection below in no time. Easy to assemble and easy to use. I will no longer have to get up on the roof to do this job.
The product worked as advertised. I had two issues with it, they are. The cloth rubber faced gloves should not be used because they will stick to the rotating shafts causing severe injuries to the hand. Use leather gloves that will slide while guiding the spinning shafts. Creosote covered shafts will cause the supplied rubber palmed gloves to adhere to the spinning shaft wrapping your fingers around the shaft. Very painful dislocation resulted. The second issue was the drill adapter ball bearing catch. It sticks in the locked position and cannot be released with the tool supplied. Light tapping with a screw driver handle freed the catch. Lightly lubricating the ball bearing snap lock may address this.
I had gotten several quotes from some local chimney sweeping companies and felt that they we way over priced. With this tool,a couple of hours and a little elbow grease I was able to do the job myself and saved a few hundred dollars
Very well made, cleaned my neglected fireplace with ease. Have a helper with a shop vacuum, it rains black soot.
