Such a good quality and very cheap! I started washing floor twice a day now Easy to use, wash in a washing machine after few days of use. I really love my new mop! Bucket is very comfortable, lightweight and does not need too much space!
This mop is so good when you want to clean skirting boards on the same time like floor . When you spin the mop coming splashes . For me good mop love it the shape so easy to store i
I can not really comment on this as the wife brought it, and I don’t think she has used it yet.
I did get it ready to use, but she hit me with it.
Seems to be very strong and works well.
Does everything it says it does. I sometimes have a problem getting the mob off the bucket, but other than that I have no problems. Worth every penny! It’s lightweight and small!
Decided to try this type of mop as other haven’t been very satisfactory. It has a fun element as it spins and seems to clean the floor pretty well.
The instructions aren’t totally clear so best to work on trial and error. Good that the pad can be removed to put in the w/ machine.
This is fine for day to day cleaning I would say but not constant deep cleaning. Pad is machine washable but don’t see it lasting more than 2/3 months using it a couple of times a week. You have to be careful to remember and wait until the mop has stopped spinning (or just stop it) before detaching or water will spray everywhere. The skirting flap is useful but sometimes causes the mop to tilt over if you are rushing. Not perfect but pretty good for me as the mop clicks into the bucket when storing.
it was a learning curve, cant overfill the bucket or use anything that foams or its a nightmare. getting the mop onto the bucket is fiddly. over all i like it and will be purchasing a few new heads for the mop. its worth the money.
Bought it specifically for washing down the walls inside home.
Easy to use if follow instructions. Slow push to wash mop head and fast spin to take off water. Theres a max line for water level as long as film no more than that it works as should.
Had no problem at all using it and never had a spin mop before. Glad i ignored negative reveiws and went with positive.
I needed a mop for my new home and I had Vileda before so I stuck with the brand. Previously I had a bucket with two compartments; one to spin-dry the mop and the other one for water.
While this product is okay, it isn’t the best nor the cheapest. I found the exact product I previously had at half the price at a local Tesco. Regardless, it does the job. Don’t overfill the bucket with water; I fill a bit below the mark and dip sides of the mop in the bucket before spinning it. I like that the head folds which helps you clean hard-to-reach spaces.
I bought it and I learnt how to use it so I am keeping it. However, I likely would have bought a different product from Vileda had I been in the same position again.
I so looked forward to getting this new mop, couldn’t get it out the box quick enough, instructions were simple and I soon had it put together and in use, it was great so I thought but after 10 mins use the spinner handle stopped working, found the handle had come loose, I screwed it back together and with in seconds it had come loose again, gaffa tape to the rescue and it hasn’t come apart since. It is a great mop don’t get me wrong but the handle unscrewing itself is a problem and the end of the mop handle/cap just wish it had been rubber instead of plastic as it hurts you’re hand after a while.
I must add I have a large open planed ground floor with a lot of floors to wash and 4 bathrooms too so I needed a good mop.
Can only rate it 4 stars due to the handle problem.
Easy click-together assembly. When you first assemble it you might notice that as well as an up and down motion, you need to twist the handle mechanism for it to move – in fact it will naturally follow this twist as you move it up and down, in turn twisting your hand awkwardly. You might notice that it seems very cumbersome and uncomfortable and not at all as easy as it is made out to be in the promo video. You might then realise after 10 minutes of slowly growing more irate that you’re an absolute moron, that the mop head and handle spins when you have it in the bucket but will not when you have it flush on the floor and that the reason you’re having to twist your arm is because youre holding the spinny bit steady and trying to make the steady bit spinny. I did not do that of course, but your experience may vary,
Besides that it’s a mop. If used dry it will make a wet floor dry. If used wet it will make a dry floor wet. It will also make a wet floor more wet. Used dry on a dry floor will not make the floor more dry.
Basically,. whichever of the two states your floor is in just put the mop in the other state and it will do the job, unless you want to make a wet floor wetter then you should use the mop in the same state the floor is in, unless the floor is dry in which case only use it wet.
It can be a bit confusing, so I have come up with a basic phrase that can be used as a way to remember it – whichever of the two states your floor is in just put the mop in the other state and it will do the job, unless you want to make a wet floor wetter then you should use the mop in the same state the floor is in, unless the floor is dry in which case only use it wet.
Another benefit is that it subverts expectations – where we all accepted that the future would involve household robots that can be used to ‘provide relief’ yet in fact it is YOU the consumer who will find yourself attempting to provide a household tool with a happy ending which is a nice change from the norm.
Product is not edible and can be kept with up to 4 others of it’s kind in 5ft vivarium.
