Wahl Dog Clippers, KMSS Premium Dog Grooming Kit, Full Coat
Wahl Dog Clippers, KMSS Premium Dog Grooming Kit, Full Coat Dog Grooming Clippers for All Coat Types, Low Noise, Corded Pet Clippers, Groom Pets at Home
Blade maintenance
– Oil you clipper blades before you start and regularly remove clipped hair and re-oil as you continue clipping
– Groom the dog regularly for short periods of time and reward the dog with positive reinforcement
Tip: Turn the clippers or trimmers on before putting them close to the dog to reduce any stress and de-sensitise.
Clipping and trimming
– Place the flat side of the blade against the body of the dog and move the clippers through the hair following the lay of the coat. To ensure you achieve an even finish, always clip in the direction of the hair growth
Tip: If you wish to reduce the length of hair left on your dog, you can clip against the lay of the coat, but take care not to catch the skin between the blades.
Clipping and trimming
– When clipping or trimming areas with folds or wrinkles of skin, use your spare hand to stretch the skin to prevent the blades cutting or catching the skin
– Never dig the blade into your dog’s coat or bury the teeth into the fur – Always keep the blade flat against the hair as you clip
Trimmer and grooming
– A smaller trimmer which has a narrower blade is useful when finishing the legs, feet, face, ears and harder to reach areas
– Once finished, brush the coat to remove any loose hair
– Always clean and oil the blades before storing them away

Had some inexpensive clippers for our spaniel and they were a struggle to use. These were not a really expensive buy so didn’t expect too much. Am very pleasantly surprised, found them easy to use and they do a really good job. They were quiet enough not to bother my slightly nervous dog. Would definitely recommend
last wahl clipper’s lasted 15 years .. i think these maybe bette
Used for trimming long haired matted cats, took a while to get the lugs off, slow and steady. Using the shortest size, I still managed to “nic” the skin off one of the cats.
These cope well for my cockapoo u need to make sure the coat is clean and fully brushed. Logan is such a good boy u can do anything with him these clippers went through his coat with no issue. I use wahl trimmers as well for awkward areas I bought I 30 blade as well u get a 10 blade which is good for private area I use the 30 blade and use the metal comb attachments. I use smaller comb for his body legs and longer combs for his head face and tail. I’m no groomer but did a fair job will groom him again save a lot of money as the price gone up.
Easy to use, clean, doesn’t heat up, the cord is long enough, I actually prefer only one speed settings it’s simple, worked well on my Terrier and my Doodle. My best clippers for sure!
This clipper cut the hair on an old collie. They hair is very thick and the clipper did a great job.
Really efficient once I’ve got it put together. Not at all easy to get the blades in initially, had to get a neighbour to help and he eventually sorted it.
These are great to use. Our dog has curly hair and it clips really well and doesn’t get stuck. They are not bulky , so easy to hold. They do make a bit more noise than some clippers but they do a great job and the dog will get use to them!
I like the look of the machine, it seems sturdy and looks good, I haven’t used it yet so can’t comment on that as I only received it this afternoon, but I find the list of contents short by a cleaning brush. This isn’t going to prompt returning, but when it says cleaning brush in the contents then I expect one to be there, a little disappointed with that but if it works well then that’s what counts.
Dose what it says on box being a barber and used lots of clippers thease are good .got them for my podel and no problem .will be buying diffrent size blades for diffrent cut lenghs insted of guards just my preferance.
Good clippers for the price. I have used Oster A5 clippers in the past, these are not as good but for the price you wouldn’t expect them to be. Managed to get a good hair cut on a very wiggly Bichon so all round not bad.
Very good quality. Purchased to cut my Border Collie who had long and very thick hair. Worked amazing, have tried others in the past and this was by far the best I’ve ever used. Quality of product is great and the build quality feels great.
Clipped 2 small dogs twice this year.
So far do good. It’s paid for itself.
This dog was clipped a couple of weeks ago. I’m not great at clipping but any unevenness grows out in a week or so!
I spent ages looking around and reading reviews for dog clippers. I’m pleased I paid a little bit more and got these.
My Cocker Spaniel doesn’t like noises so I turned these on away from him and slowly brought the base towards him and touched the body of the clipper on him for a few minutes. He just stood there! these have a low vibration and a low pitched noise and he was fine (by the way he runs a mile if I turn on the Wahl Paw Tidy Pet Trimmer as they are so high pitched)
I’ve learnt quite quickly that the way to go with dog grooming is to use the swapable blades rather than comb attachments and these are not cheap. This comes with a 10 but I purchased a 7F and a 4F for my Cocker. The F blades give a nicer finish over using the attachment combs and you swap them when they get hot.
English Cocker Spaniel (guide)
Head = 7FC
Body, Side, Back = 7, 7FC to 5, 5FC
Front of Forelegs = 5, 5FC to 4, 4FC
Neck, Ears, Face, Cheeks = 10 to 15
The large bottle of oil saves you a few quid but you also need a Hygiene Spray and you can get oil and spray for 7.99
Very pleased.
These are a little noisy my Shih tzu isnt keen on them yet, other websites do say the dog will need to to get accustomed to the noise, they cut really well, the cut time has halved they are a great upgrade compared to the old se
What a great buy! My dog hates going to the goomers so I decided I would give it a go myself as I can be more patient and stop if she needs a break. I was worried though in case I couldn’t do it properly. However, this was so easy! I watched a couple of videos on youtube to check how to put the blade on and how to groom my dog but the clippers worked very well and I became quite confident quickly. They are very quiet, which is good because my dog is scared of most noises but she hardly moved at all. I would recommend them.
We have two Bichon Frise and we have found these clippers to be very good, we have clipped the dogs four times now. We watched the video in the reviews and found that is was misleading regarding fitting the cutter blades. If the instructions with the blades are followed correctly there is no problem fitting them. We like the design of the blades being in one complete unit that simply clips on and also the blade attachment combs supplied are made of stainless steel.
The absolute bottom line here is that this is an excellent piece of kit, light, vibration free, cool running, nice to hold and with what feels like a good quality build, and it’s let down by one single thing… The drive head is square! So when you come to engage it with a new blade, the groove the head runs into has to be exactly square and aligned!
When you’re swapping blades for the length of your clip, or between different blades because of keeping them cool this is an absolute pain, and slows your rate of work dramatically, every other clipper I’ve had, including other Wahl branded ones have a rounded drive head and engage with the groove in the blade easily, without fuss, and this is the ONLY fault with this unit, its warranted me removing one star, however if you were a professional you may want to think about this more seriously.
The features of the unit are very good, the button is excellently placed for a right hander to get to, maybe a little harder for a left hander.
The cut is very good, even, and really consistent; though you would expect no less from a constant RPM motor.
The cooling feature does work, air is drawn in, and there is a fine mesh over the inlets to stop hair being drawn into the motor in vast amounts. The output of the air is around the bottom of the unit and blows over roughly where your index finger grasps the handle, it is also ducted down over the tip of the cutting edge, though this made a good different the blade did still get warm. But no where near as warm as the uncooled blade I tried it against.
