This shaver is good for the money. Shaves really well. No issues. It’s not amazing but it is a good shaver, when I say not amazing it’s because I feel it could have a more,
Smaller detailed shaver for doing things like moustache and neck line. It’s still very good and you can still do those things just with normal shave
I have been using a similar whal system for so time now and decided to get a new one.
Good thing is that older models are compatible with this one but I found that the on off switch is very difficult to press. I have to use the tip of my thumb to press it while using some force. I also had an issue with the T blade but one phone call to customer service a new blade was dispatched and arrived a few days later.
Still happy though
I have tried brand/types and have found these to be the best. They work!
They say that you get what you pay for and that is the case with this Wahl clipper. I have been clipping my husbands hair for years using a Wahl clipper for dogs (LOL), but it was very heavy and awkward to use, but it did the job satisfactorily. I thought it was about time my husband had a brand new clipper, so I bought this for his (2022) birthday and he was like a child with a new toy. I haven’t used all of the attachments yet, but am very pleased with the results so far and the clipper is comfortable to use. My husband was also very pleased with his new hair cut! Wahl are a fantastic make, and as long as you know what you are going, the results are excellent – as good as any barber cut!
Highly recommended. Thank you.
The product was delivered to our neighbours’ house – “handed to Resident” but they are on holiday, so no one there. Eventually found the parcel.
Not had time to test it properly, but it looks like very good quality.
I have used this for head hair, beard nose ears and eyebrows. First nose hair trimmer I have used that actually works. It has taken the place of four other products that I will now be binning.
It cuts well, holds its charge and is easy to clean. Head hair, in my case very short, cuts quickly, neatly, follows the shape of your head easily and is simple to use. The beard trimmer, no 2 in my case also cuts neatly and easily, also use the same setting on my eyebrows, sharp blade doesn’t leave any long hairs. The shaver attachment clears up any bits that are too fine for the trimmers and can also be used for the hairs that grow out of the top of the ears of gentlemen of a certain age.
My only niggles are: changing heads, removal is a flick of the thumb, but putting on a new one can be awkward, and the plastic guards seem to be difficult to fit and aren’t the quality of my old Wahl head trimmer. That said, once they are on they work well. Overall very pleased and well worth the money.
First class, really good quality including the build and usability, am really pleased with it and am surprised of the amount of negative feedback, Aaaaaa111111 for me.
I’ve used Wahl hair-clippers for at least ten years, ever since my hair thinned sufficiently that it seemed more sensible to cut my hair myself rather than to go to the barbers. Wahl beard-trimmers are a new one to me, however, and this one has all the qualities that I would expect from Wahl; it’s sturdy, has some weight, cuts well, and gives the impression that it will last forever. The extra attachments you get with any trimmer are normally average quality, which is the case here — but the important bit, the beard trimmer itself, is great. Pleased.
i had a trimmer the same brand, the only difference i can see is they’ve changed the charging adaptor on the trimmer, which was purchased about 5 years ago, it never really charged as it should have, it was low on power for age’s, hence my purchase for a new one, this one is absolutely so much better, it actually charge’s very well & when charged it run’s for a long time without needing to be re-charged, it come with all the attachments you’ll ever need.
Have only used the main blade so far and none of the attachments, but gives an incredibly close 2 days stubble look shave. Have used about 4/5 times and haven’t had to put it on charge yet. Feels very sturdy and solid in your hand for something that is quite light in weight.
The groomer does make a noise when coming into contact with the hairs on my face but I think it’s more down to me having coarse hair.
Up to now nothing not to like used for face body and head and still on the first charge
Great build quality and all attatchments you’d need for a trimme
brought for my son
he states that he is very pleased with this
does as its say
as he is a fire fighter he like to keep his hair sho
Great multi-groomer can’t think of anything else I could need. Excellent battery life & changing heads & attachments is easy. Quite a bit of hair does get inside the top of the main body which takes some brushing out but otherwise I can’t fault it.
Can be used in the shower, less mess, for any body hair!
Great beard trimmer (doubled for my hair through lockdown as well)
Bought for my husband for Christmas. It was easy to use. As it was the first time he’d used a trimmer (new beard) he watched a few videos on how to trim a beard. Found the Wahl trimmer easy to use and likes all the gadgets.
Bought these as a gift. Super fast delivery. Lots of accessories included. Slick design. A bit smaller than it looks on the box but he’s really impressed with the cut. So thumbs up from me and him.
I got this 9 in 1 trimmer from Wahl because I wanted to be able to have more flexibility in trimming and shaping my beard.
This is great, the design is sleek and stylish and feels very sturdy in the hand. I like the amount of interchangeable heads which offers ultimate versatility in grooming. The different heads are all really easy to remove and attach while also very easy to wash and clean.
It lasts for 4 hours of use on a full charge and even has a quick charge which takes about 1 minute and lasts for about 3 minutes so you are always able to groom even if in a rush. The stand it comes with is also stylish and is well built which makes a difference when compared to cheap plastic looking ones other trimmers come with.
The only thing i didn’t like about this set is the storage bag provided. It is quite disappointing, looking and feeling cheap. It does not match the great design of this trimmer.
Overall, I am happy with the performance of this trimmer, it makes grooming my beard a pleasant experience, looks really nice on my bathroom shelf and is at a great price. Definitely recommend!
Love this clipper use it mainly for the beard and it cuts well, but needs to be oiled after every use, abit concerned about the detachable blades, nightmare to clean inside of hair gets i
This is a very nice looking bit of kit. Stylish and professional looking. I love the metal construction with the grey powder coating.
I find what this really excels in is how compact and versatile the kit is. It’s size makes it ideal for travelling. And essentially it is capable of lots of different options: beard, head shaving, body and intimate grooming, designer stubble – all haircuts besides a skin fade that is. Due to the fact that there is no adjustable taper level.
The width of the blades makes cutting hair a bit slower. But they’re sharp, really good quality and capable.
The trimmer itself is quite reassuring weighty. That is just quality. But I’ve already snapped a little bit off one of the plastic attachments for different grades. It still clips on and off and works fine, just a bit more difficult. It could have been my fault for being heavy handed. But then the zip zipped right off the end of the zipper on the supplied pouch.
I like the stand it came with, again very smart. You can charge it whilst it is in the stand as there is space for the wire to slot through.
Battery is good, I’m pretty sure it meets the estimations from Wahl.
I like the stubble trimmers. They work well at setting a limit for stubble length for those who want a stubble beard.
The nose trimmer worked well for me. It didn’t pull, tickle or leave my nostrils sore. But worked well.
Overall this is a decent set that is worth the 79.99 price.
Superb battery life. Looks sleek and solid. Trimming performance excellent. Comes with all the attachments that you need and may never need. Plenty of accessories to maintain the set, and also give a precise trimming experience. Easy to use and quick to charge.
Comfortable grip and looks and feels premium but there are issues with this trimmer that I did not expect given the price, such as:
– some attachments can be fiddly sometimes and I don’t feel that they are stable when attached — I feel they’re going to dislodge mid trimming and so you need to be cautious whilst trimming in case anything goes wrong. Not the best or most comfortable experience.
– in comparison to the trimmer itself, the attachments are ‘average’ quality.
– Surprisingly the trimmer is not waterproof! The head needs removing to be cleaned.
– the base/stand could have been slightly thicker and more stable — but it does the job, nonetheless.
A very good trimmer with so many attachments for nearly every part of the body and comes with Wahl’s 5-year warranty. I deducted one star, but I would recommend overall for the quality and number of attachments bearing in mind the issues mentioned above. It’s not the best set, but it does a good job.

I got this for my husband as he unknowingly donated his one to the dog!
As a man whose had quiet a few different styles of facial hair over the years it’s fair to say he’s been through his fair share of beard trimmers, so I was keen to see what he made of this one.
This is his first ever cordless one, I really didn’t think it would make much difference but apparently it did. He said with it not having a cord combined with the fact the device is quite small, light weight and streamlined it’s by far the most effortless trim he’s ever had. He said he now has a much better visual of what he’s doing so feels able too give himself a much better cut. I wasn’t sure if it being so light would make it feel cheap but because it’s stainless steel it also feels very robust and sturdy, it looks like it will survive his clumsy blurry eyed morning accidents at least!
The kit it comes with is extremely comprehensive and includes 4 types of heads for different types of hair cutting. To change the head you simply unclick it and replace with another one, which is extremely quick and easy to do and very practical for cleaning and oiling. The 2 main cutting heads also come with the usual variety of different cutting grades, so you’re able to cut at different lengths. It only takes an hour to charge and comes in a case for storage and a stand for charging.
Overall hubby said it’s the most impressive grooming kit he’s ever used so he would definitely recommend it.
I upgraded to this set from a more basic trimmer and immediately I was impressed with the build quality. It has some weight to it and is solid with a lovely brushed stainless steel finish. It had multiple heads to choose from as well as all the standard trimming guides that you would expect form a set of clippers.
The model I received had the t-blade head for use on your head, the detail shaver head for getting those loose hairs you may miss, the ear/nose head and the standard trimmer head (which was already attached). There are additional heads that you can order separately but those included heads are fine for hair and beard trimming.
The additional heads are made of plastic and feel a bit cheap compared to the main unit — Although adequate and seemingly easy to replace from Wahl in the event the are damaged. Changing the heads is easy and quick as you would expect. They also provide a small bag that has two pockets so you can keep the unit and all the peripherals separate which I thought was a nice touch. The bag is a standard unbranded black canvas with two zips, not particularly of note but functional.
Essentially this is an all-in-one device for beard and hair trimming and it definitely delivers. I had been using a separate nose hair trimmer alongside my previous beard trimming set and with this I will no longer need to keep multiple kits.
The most important aspect of a beard trimmer is the cut. The standard trimmer head gives a reasonably close shave — I have used clippers that get closer in a barbers but I suspect those sets are considerably more expensive than this set.
For my needs the heads provided are adequate but I still need to wet shave any areas of my face and neck that are to be fully trimmed down — this seems to be pretty standard on these sets though and frankly compared to other sets I have used this is pretty close.
All things considered this a pretty good deal for the money spent — the kit is solid and I am sure will last a long time (it comes with 5 year warranty) and you won’t need any additional kits for hair, nose etc. It looks good and has a stylish little docking stand for when you are charging (it charges inside a couple of hours and you won’t need to charge more than once a month and more than likely less depending on your usage).
It’s a good set and deal, I will definitely continue to use it for it lifespan but the jury is out on the quality of the heads (to caveat they seem fine but I can’t 5 star an item without prolonged use) and I don’t think I have ever had a set that gives a super close shave so that I don’t need to finish with a wet shave — the day that comes at a reasonable price is the day I will give full stars.
I got this for my partner. He had a cheap hair trimmer for his beard and hair and a separate nose and ear trimmer to keep hairs there at bay. When I saw this pop up, I thought it’d be a good solution to having so many different machines to do different jobs. Now, all hair trims can be done using the same machine which not only is more practical but it also declutters the house.
I think the machine itself is really sleek and easy to use and handle. The machine holds battery really well and charges quickly which is fantastic.
The machine itself has a nice weight to it, it doesn’t feel cheap and it definitely feels like a durable and all-round well made tool. The same goes for the attachments that have some metal in them like the main heads, the nose and ear trimmer and even the stand. There’s good weight to them and feel durable when in use. Now, all of the other bits that are made out of plastic feel really, really cheap. The carry case also feels really cheap, like something you would find in a pound shop. This doesn’t match with the price tag the machine has.
Having used it to trim hair, beard and ears/nose, it works quite well. The plastic attachments do feel very flimsy which isn’t nice but it cuts hair alright.
All in all, the machine itself feels pretty good and it does work but the plastic attachments could definitely be of better quality given the price of the product.
The Stainless Steel 9 in 1 Multigroomer – total grooming for head, face and body.
On the plus side, this is an all in one grooming system with 12 guide combs and 17 trimming lengths from 0.5mm to 25mm.
There’s a 6 position beard guide comb: for your stubble to full beard; and number 1 to 8 guide combs for hair cutting.
There’s four interchangeable heads, ranging from full head hair, beard grooming, a very close and detailed shave, total body grooming and removing unwanted ear and nose hair.
Its looks sleek, though it’s not ergonomic. It’s designed to be more style over substance. It certainly looks stylish …and expensive in the bathroom.
Though the downside is that it’s not the most comfortable to grasp as it has a smooth metal finish with no grip.
If you are after a ‘grippier’ version, Wahl do a pretty good indestructible trimmer here on Amazon which is plenty grippy, cheaper, absolutely waterproof; but not stylish, nor is it a total grooming system.
This one comes with a 240 minute runtime on a single 60 minute charge which should last you three months, they say, depending on how rigorously you use it. Personally I don’t leave it that long as there’s no battery level indicator and it’s difficult to keep track of the remaining power.
A quick 1 minute blast of power gives you 3 minutes worth of use. So 5 minutes will give you a good 15 minutes of grooming time, if the groomer unexpectedly seizes with lack of life.
The major niggle for this price range, is that it looks terrific, yet it does not perform brilliantly in any of the afore mentioned areas.
My area specific trimmer may not perform all 9 of the actions that this grooming system does, but it trims far better than this.
Bottom Line:
If you need tools to handle your mane, stubble/beard, close shave, refinded haircuts, ear and nose solutions, and all over body hair, then this grooming system is for you as it cuts the your follicles – and your costs of purchasing a number of independent units.
But if you are planning to only use one or two of these functions, then you’re better off buying a more focused system to match your needs. Wahl do some pretty good grooming units that are cheaper and match your requirements better and perform a lot better in their specialised areas.
But, it you prefer a stylish unit to display with its sleek steel lines, its metal base unit and it’s cool kit bag then go for this.
At this price you pretty much get it all.
4 stars.
