In 2021, Weleda’s Centenary year, we decided to mark this incredible milestone and celebrate Weleda’s 100 year history, whilst simultaneously looking to the future, by pledging to plant a Weleda forest in collaboration with the environmental charity TreeSisters. The aim of this long-term project is to plant one million trees to combat climate change.
The Weleda vision is to plant a magnificent forest of trees. Not a single location but a forest of a million trees planted around the world where trees are needed most urgently – to reclaim endangered rainforest, prevent flooding or soil erosion, protect natural habitats, support local communities in some of the poorest countries in the world, and empower women in the workplace. TreeSisters funds tropical reforestation projects globally with a focus on initiatives either run by women or supporting women around the world.

This cream is very rich, but i prefer to use this as a night time cream. My skin still feels soft & moisturised in the morning. Perfect for dry skin & to use in the winter. Gives a nice glow to the skin, you only need a small amount.

This moisturiser has become a daily staple! Nice thick consistency, which provides lots of hydration for my dry skin. Although the consistency is thick, it does not feel heavy or like it is blocking my pores.
My skin is quite sensitive and can sometimes react to new products, this has not happened with this cream. My skin has never felt or looked better.
This is also a great base for under makeup. Love this cream, couldn’t be without it now!
This product is a thick consistency but fabulous. I personally mix a bit of my other moisturiser to form a wonderful creamy delight for my face. I use it overnight for deep moisture for my face. 100% recommended.

I bought this cream since I’ve been seeing the hype of this product on social media.
When applying for thenfirs time I didn’t realise how super thick it was. It gives you a nice glow, keeps the skin plump and hydrated. You only need a small amount, it does have a slight scent, but absolutely love it, it does the job.
It has a strong floral, earthy scent which may be a bit overpowering but it starts to tone down after a few hours
I use this daily as I have dry skin, this is very thick a little goes a long way I use for hands, face and always take it with me wherever I go
Just as TikTok shows, it is a game changing moisturiser. The one thing I’m not a major fan of is the smell – it’s like sweet orange essential oil. Not bad, just not my favourite smell 🙂 but it’s super hydrating and works well even with my sensitive ski
The product is so thick, feels and smells luxurious. I would recommend for dry cracked hands and feet. The smell and thickness of the product is too much to use on the face and body for me!

I’d read about this product so decided to try it. I actually use it on my face to help stop the weather beaten dryness – it’s fantastic!
Bought for 82 year old mum who has dry skin, she didn’t like the texture of it at first as it is quite hard compared with some creams and not a fan of the odour. However it works amazingly, really nourished her skin and stopped the irritation 10/10
So many products make my face even drier but this is perfect. I use it as a face mask at night and when I wake up in the morning I am silky smooth!
The best!!! it’s quite a thick product so a little goes a long way or I mix it with another moisturiser as sometimes it feels sticky by it’s worn and leave to soak over night & wake up with the most hydrated glass skin ever !! <3
The moisturiser had a thick consistency and is quite sticky on the face when first applied. I use it at night time which works really well. It’s dewy on the skin so would probably work well as a primer for foundation.
Damn, am I impressed. Soaks into the skin really well and moisturises. Without this, I don’t know how my skin would cope with the British weather.

I use this cream as a primer before I apply my makeup as I have eczema. Initially I did try to use it as just a face cream however I found it to be too greasy and not blendable for the skin so I tried it as a primer and it works wonders! Big part of my makeup routine now

Smells very spa-like with the essential oil fragrance. Gives good moisture and is great for sensitive skin however can sting slightly when first applied. Very thick so only need a small amount.
Bought it for myself and my husband took it as soon as he tried it. Scent could be a bit less overpowering.
Was recommended this by a friend and its amazing for dry skin. Smell is so nice and really works. It feels quite thick but it goes on great if you Pat it on and let it sink into your skin. Would definately recommend
I’d say after seeing those wonderful 5 star reviews I was expecting something a lot better. The scent is nice and definitely stays on your skin for a long time. Perfect for rough skin. However be careful when using it on your face, the cream is quite thick and can stretch your skin when applying it. When dabbing it in its difficult to say it hydrates your skin as it feels like the cream is just sitting there. But if you’re buying it for your hands, it’s good.
Well .., I never write reviews, however I bought this product for my face it’s dry and flaky just doesn’t matter what moisturiser I used when I apply foundation makes my face so dry , I used this first and then foundation what a difference!!! Moisturises skin so well, can feel quite sticky but I don’t mind.
Also for mine and my 12 years old eczema, I Tried so many creams for her nothing helped, I applied 2 times on affected areas and start getting better .
It just amazing cream not expensive, natural and works on eczema.
It works wonders on my skin which is very dry and sensitive. I use this with Dr Hauschka skin toner and a gentle cleanser. It has a herbal scent, but doesn’t irritate skin. It might be too heavy for those who don’t have very dry skin.
About the only cream that has helped my skin this winter.
I don’t ordinarily have dry skin, but in the winter with central heating I do get dry patches around my mouth, nose and on my neck. My usual Olay wasn’t helping so I purchased this. It is a weirdly firm texture, but it’s saved my skin this winter. I think it would be too heavy for warmer months.
Nice moisturizer and probably great for very dry skin. The scent kind of put me off using it but others may like that I would prefer no scent.
I read an article about some ‘celebrity’ (can’t remember who!) & the article stated this person always used the Weleda Skin Food on her dry skin & said it gave her skin a glow. I have very dry skin & the Weleda Skin Food was so inexpensive I decided to give it a go. As a 66 year old retired Beauty & Holistic Therapist I am very sceptical about the so called anti ageing creams! To my surprise it is a lovely cream and my skin looks smooth and it does seem to glow. I can definitely recommend it for dry skin & notice there is also a light version. I will definitely be repurchasing Weleda Skin Food cream.

I suffered from intense dry and broken skin around my eyes and nose. I tried soooo many different creams and remedies, but this is the only one that worked. And it worked well. Within days, the skin healed and looked nourished. Very pleased.
It was an area that suffered more because my eyes would tear up and cause more “water” damage. This was a bit waterproof so kept the moisture at bay while the skin healed. I had to apply several times a day though, as the hayfever and my skin was really bad.
It is a thick and heavy cream so I only use minuscule amounts and dab it onto the affected areas. I would not use it as an everyday cream or face cream. It is best for the extremely dry areas that need a super remedy.
Don’t put it too close to the eye though, as it can sting. But it was worth getting stung a few times.
