First glance you may think it is Lego.
The peices all fit together but occasionally they need a little more strength to click the parts together.
My 11 year old daughter loved this but found the odd part hard to click together. They do fit but you need a little more strength than you might with Lego. Lego is obviously made to a slightly better quality and the parts all fit snug together without inconsistent gaps. I imagine the same product in Lego would cost a lot more.
Having said that I found the instructions really user friendly as they list all the parts of each section and number the bags. The bit I liked was they grey out the bit you have built and show the new bricks coloured for that section. This led to a quick build.
Definitely recommend but be prepared to help your child.

We got this as a family present and it looks awesome!! Great value for the money and helps to fill out our Lego collection. A really fun set!
What an amazing items. My granddaugther enjoyed putting it rogether. Several building and the swimming which she love. Would buy it again.
The price gives it a solid 5 stars, block quality is better than any other lego knockoff I’ve used, they’re 4.7/5 in my opinion. Missing 2 pieces, no big deal to me. Built with the instructions and had no problems, sticker placements not always shown but again, not big deal, my kids put the stickers wherever they wanted. Bags sorted in build order? Nope. Made it take longer to build. My kids like the buckets for their other toys and love them. Recommend this kit? 100% yes!
