A really good fan with easy to use controls. Very quiet on the lower settings, easy and clear settings and a decent size. We returned our first one because the remote didn’t work, and the manufacturer customer services is non-existent. Thanks to Amazon customer services for sorting this out for me.
    Expensive, but worth i

Good fan until it developed noise, bad customer policy charging 10 to return even though bought 2 other fans from them.

There is nothing I can fault about this fan aside from the steep price some might think for a fan, but let me tell you now, it’s worth every penny. Enough so that I’ve bought two of these and if any of those break I’ll replace them with another of these fans.

The shape is what drew me in, look at it, cute sphere of a fan. It’s like something from a sci-fi movie or something. Anyway I read the product description and after checking it out I was sold on the vortex style way it pushes out air. The science checked out and I went with it.

The fan is powerful. It has five speed settings and I’d say 3 or 4 is probably what I’ve experienced from most conventional fans but with the added bonus it pushes the air further. You can place this fan much further away than other regular fans and still feel the breeze. Place it closer and you’re seeing a massive difference to the 20 or so quid fans you can buy. On the 5th speed it’s honestly something else. It’s like the motor goes into hyperdrive.

Oscillation? Yeah it’s got it and with vertical movement too. Horizontal and vertical at the same time? Yep! So stick this bad boy on 5 speed with both oscillations on and you’re whipping up some right breeze in your room. Honestly feels like a different room in no time.

Lazy? No fear it comes with a remote. Instantly cool without having to get up and turn it on.

It has a timer for auto shut-off with times of 1hr, 2hr and 4hr.

There’s also a setting to replicate a breeze you might feel outside where it slows down and picks up from time to time simulating that kinda breeze.

End of it all though just buy this fan you’ll forget you even spent more than you anticipated on this breezy beast of a machine as the price is fully justifiable mark my words

    Just buy this fan. Period.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’d had a woozoo fan for 3 or 4 years and loved it but I accidentally broke it so wanted to replace ASAP. I ordered in a rush, I should’ve checked, I wanted the 30, the round one with a remote but accidentally bought the 33, the flat faced one. Im really annoyed at myself because I love remote controls. I’m disabled, I struggle to walk so having a remote is much easier. However, the flat faced one is really good, even if it is remote less. Its powerful, it’s very quiet but its also HUGE. Far too big for a bedside table, hence why I’m annoyed because now I can’t switch it off. I do like it, but I miss my other woozoo. Be careful which one you order!

Three settings and acceptable noise level for sleeping. Doesn’t oscillate but you can manually tilt up and down only. Sturdy base. For some reason the dial switch goes from 1 to 3 in either direction but no discernible difference using clicking left hand numbers or right hand ones. There is a difference in speed between numbers though. Decent air flow so should do the trick when summer comes and I can ditch my old noisy one.

just arrived today got it plugged in and away it goes.
i was replacing a white 20″ very loud fest fan. This black fan is very sleek & modern stylish looking piece.
very easy to set up with remote control great range of cool air even at setting 1.
quiet at speed 1 compared to my old fan
    speed 2 light humm
speed 3 sounded like my old fan
but setting number 4 is definitely louder. wouldn’t have stopped me from purchasing but it’s not the silent fan i’ve read others review.
would i purchase again BIG YES

    best fan i’ve had

This is a lot more powerful than it looks. It’s small but really very good, and very quiet on the lower speeds. The higher levels are noisier though. I bought it in the heatwave of 2022, and the weather cooled fairly soon after, but I expect to get a lot of use out of it this year. There are lots of settings, and the remote is handy so you can put it where it’s most convenient and not have to keep getting up to adjust the setting.

During the heatwave, this fan was my saviour! It is small but it’s so powerful I couldn’t believe it. Only downside is that it caters for Japanese futons so the height is too low for my western bed. I had to prop it up on my chest of drawers. But luckily the head can tilt up and down so the air still blows in the right direction.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersLook, this fan will not knock you over with its power. It is a nice, compact fan that will sit on the desk next to you and give you a light breeze, even on the low setting. And the low settings are EXTREMELY quiet. (I’ve seen some people saying it has a “hum” on the quietest setting. Well, yes. It’s an electric fan with a moving motor. You can only make it so quiet. Do you live in a monastery?) Even the high setting is quiet enough to let you watch television without having to boost the volume.

The highest power mode will give you a fairly narrow blast of air from a distance of a couple of meters, but no, you will not get much of breeze from across the entire living room. If you’re looking for something to sit in the corner and reach every inch of the room, this isn’t your product. If you’re looking for something to sit close to the sofa, or on top of your desk, this is perfect.

The circular oscillation is a nice touch and gives it a great range of coverage, although I wish it didn’t point quite so directly upward when it is going up and down. Not many people are going to be standing directly over their fan. And it can be a bit fiddly to get it to point at the hight you want when choosing to do only a back-and-forth oscillation. But this is a pretty minor complaint.

I find the “breeze” function much better than most other fans that have this feature. I’ve always found it annoying on other fans because you can hear the motor speeding up and slowing down. This fan is so quiet that (unless your room is exceptionally quiet) you can barely hear it, so the breeze effect works and is quite pleasant. However, it is only available on one low-power mode, so you cannot get a breeze effect and high power at the same time.

All in all, a great little fan. It was indispensable in the office this summer.

Well , it’s a fan . The controls feel sturdy both the remote and on the unit . I do like the sleep mode , which has a few time options . The natural breeze mode is nice. It is quiet on lower fan speeds but the top speed couldn’t be classified as quiet. The multi tilting head design is a clever piece of engineering, I do feel like this thing is built to last .

I am thoroughly pleased with this fan, it throws out a huge amount of cool air on the higher settings and was great during the heatwave. It is a little noisier on the higher settings but during the night the lower settings were perfect to cool you and be quieter. I like to have my room pitch black so LED lights have to be covered for me, but I don’t mind that.
A couple of suggestions I’d like to add to the company for future designs would be to add maybe a bedroom version of the same fan with either no lights and no sound or the lights and sounds being able to be switched off, so that you can have a silent lightless fan for during the night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely pleased with this

Hi guys. So, we both 2 of these. We bought an expensive meaco one…. and been there is a 70pound difference in cost, but very little difference in quality or performance. It has a sleep mode, which, is like a whisper, it will not bother you, no matter how much of a light sleeper you are, while still blowing enough air around you, or straight on you. During the hot days. We put this up on the window with it facing out, and it’s so good. Even our nervous dogo isn’t bothered by it. On it’s highest it is a little loud, but again, nothing that would bother you, it’s a smooth noise and very powerful. Top buy. Well deserved 5

It’s very quiet compared to my old fan but its very quiet only up until the second setting. Any heigher you hear it although it’s not the noise of the fan more the air blowing through. I mostly keep it on two because that’s all you need as its quite powerful. I sleep well and am unbothered by the very slight noise. I’m not sure what use the up and down revolutions are good for. I don’t use that setting nor the up and down, side to side as it never passes you so just use the side to side or stay in one spot. I like the remote too. I dont have to get up to change settings.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWe have brought so many fans!! Over the past 5 years we’ve gone cheap, we’ve invested in the big brands and yet, this small, round, cute and sophisticated looking fan is the best all round that we’ve ever brought. Dimplex etc you have competition compared to your weak ass towers!!
I don’t know how, I hope to christ they don’t change it as when I’ve got spare cash I do get one every now and then before they dissappear or change or go dearer!
But this packs a punch! It actually blows out cool air when it’s hot, ie recent heatwave etc.
It’s powerful, not loud. I mean, if you want a fan that’s silent your in a dream world but compared to one’s we’ve had its a nice wind noise, doesn’t clink clank or clunk.
It will cover most of a standard size room, 4 bed house, all bedrooms have them, the living room, now want 1 for the nook and 1 for the kitchen then I’ll get another couple for spare.
Seriously though, I have MS and heat can near to kill me. No fan has been as compact or as perfect as this one. Be realistic on what you want in a fan but this one ticks all my boxes, my husbands and my kids!
To the seller/developer, change nothing!! Dont ruin an absolute gem of a product. (Slightly cheaper as always would be great lol)
    I rarely give good feedback!

Fantastic little fan. Very quiet on the lower settings, & definitely works well with an air conditioner to rapidly cool a hot room. It’s compact, easy & hygienic to clean (wipe down surface, no buttons sticking out), it doesn’t suffer from buffeting like a traditional fan (the air flow/stream is steady & constant). Having a remote is handy as well, but you do need to be at the right angle to use it.

I do have some very small gripes with it, but nothing that would stop me recommending it.

    1. As others have mentioned, unfortunately the fan has no way of tilting/blowing lower than the surface it is placed on. But this is easily overcome by putting the fan on a lower surface, or the floor.
    2. I wish I could turn the lights off on it at night. I like my room to be as dark as possible at night as I sleep better that way, but covering them with black electrical tape has done the trick.
    3. There’s no quick way to get it to recenter itself from circulation mode. You have to turn off both the horizontal & vertical swivel one at a time.

All in all, an excellent product. Well worth it & would happily buy it again.

I purchased this fan/air circulator to take on holiday at the height of the heatwave.. Including the day we hit 42! I was worried sick that the caravan would be an oven. I really wasn’t convinced this would do anything at all. I was wrong! It was excellent! I also purchased the much more expensive version of this which was rubbish! This was quieter too. My daughter is autistic and noises tend to really aggravate her. This caused no issues at all even at night on a very quite countryside caravan park. A month later and it’s still working strong even though its been on pretty much non stop throughout the heatwave. You can actually tell on this one that it seems to do something different to the air flow than to simply blow it straight at you. It is very good at cooling the entire room and not just one spot. So if you are wondering if the expensive version is better? It’s not. This was an absolute bargain as I got it on prime day but even full price it’s far better than the 50+ version.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have respiratory problems so need to use a fan all year round. This was recommended to me by someone in a similar situation & I have not been disappointed.

It’s just as powerful as my older fans but much quieter (unless it’s on the top setting when it becomes very noisy) and much gentler too. The remote takes some getting used too (it’s tiny & has to be pointed at a very precise angle but it’s not a problem once you get used to it).
I find it circulates the air much better without it all being blasted straight at you.
My only complaint is that with the shape of the fan & all the directions it rotates it’s a shame that it only moves upwards when it rotates vertically. I really wanted to put it on a tall chest of drawers in my bedroom but because it doesn’t tilt down at all I’ve had to put it on my bedside table where it takes up a lot of space & is too close to me so that’s a shame.

I love the shape and for its size it’s quite powerful. It is not quite. At a lower speed it’s a gentle hum which is great I can hear the TV well. At speed 5-6 it’s loud enough that I have to increase the TV volume. 7 and up very noisy.
Was it worth buying. It’s pricey but if this fan last a long time it might turn out to be a investment as it’s using a D/C it’s more energy efficient.

It’s the remote control and possible energy saving that sealed the deal.
Just disappointed that it’s very noisy at speed 7& above.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst off, this is a fairly large air circulator rather than a fan. Key difference is you’d keep a fan pointed in your general direction, where this would result in the contents of your desk/coffee/beside being blown all over if you did. Best thing to do is look at the use cases in the instructions.

Was an absolute godsend over the peak heatwave in July. Used it during the day to keep air moving round the family room, and on an evening I moved it to the patio doors and pushed the slightly cooler evening air in to stimulate airflow through the house.

Really easy to use, has a few big buttons on it for speed settings, one for oscillation and that’s it. Pick your speed and go. Don’t expect it to be completely silent, but for the amount of air it shifts it doesn’t make a racket at all.

Bought a few more of these ahead of the upcoming higher temps while they’ve been on special.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo when I pulled it out of the box I was a little apprehensive over the small size however that was quickly blown away. Its ability to circulate the air in a room is perfect and very noticeable. 😉
There is no set up required other than putting it where you want and plugging it in, controls are easy to understand the instructions are also easily understood for those who read manuals. 🙂
Its very quiet and only really starts to get a little loud when you turn the power up high, even then its not the motor you hear it is the agitation in the wind. (same thing happens with all fans more power equals more noise)

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBest idea was to buy this off season lmao, bought it for 44 and now it’s like 120 during the summer. It’s amazing, the first 2 fan options are quiet enough for you to sleep soundly, and still cool enough for you if it isn’t placed too far from the bed. Some comments mentioned it was too loud, yeah after 3rd option it does start getting louder, i generally use that option and beyond when i’m awake though… if you’re gaming or on a call it doesn’t catch the fan noises though. note that there are 10 fan strength options and im only using 2-4, others may be use more though

    was a bargain at 44 !

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter one day of using it, really enjoying the product

    – Packaging 10/10, Japanese style attention to detail really shows
    – Build quality 9/10, has the right kind of weight, feel, after using it more this may increase
    – Noise, 9/10, quiet mode is silent, low power is quieter than ambient road, max power is still loud obvs
    – Oscillation, 8/10, looks like it has several patterns which all run at once driving the oscillation. Sometimes these align and it’s like a fraction of a second where it doesn’t know whether it wants to tilt up or down, but you only noticed as a tiny pause in otherwise smooth sweeps. You can control up/down separately to left/right
    – Remote, 7/10, IR sensor only really works when fan is facing you so you can’t e.g. enable oscillation if it isn’t looking at you already

    Overall excelle

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this after a friend recommended this fan to me, she mentioned it was quiet and it really is; it’s obviously noisier on full power, but on the lower settings you would hardly know it is on. It’s effective too, you get a good air current from it, and the different movements make it very versatile to move the air current around to where you most need it. The breeze setting is nice if you just want a bit of background airflow, but not much use for cooling down when it’s hot. The timer is handy for being able to switch it on for a set time when going to sleep, and the remote is useful to switch it on from bed or across the room.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt certainly isn’t silent, that being said, the first two power levels are quiet enough not to disturb viewing TV or sleeping. Power level three upwards are louder by significant steps. The remote does it’s job. It would be better if you could alter how far it tilts/swings, not just on or off. All in all, happy with the product at the sale price I got it.

I initially brought a tower fan and immediately didn’t like it was noisy and clunky. I took it back and read reviews found this one. It’s amazing can’t fault it. Lovely quiet sound on low setting still with plenty of air flow from a long distance. It’s already set up straight out of box I switched it on with ease and the remote is so easy to use. Looks smart is robust and a perfect size with power but is elegant. Zero regrets would recommend to everyone! Wide span of airflow and I feel so cool my bedroom was boiling now its perfectly cool

Very quiet compared to others but unit has an low electrical hum when on. At the lowest setting virtually only an electrical hum is audible. The hum is audible until setting 3 of 5.

To be fair at 1.5m distance the unit meets the 35db advertised even with the hum.

I have to decide if I can live with this hum or not vs other machines that are noisier (but have no hum).

If it don’t have this hum it would be easily 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAren’t all fans noisy at their highest setting? Stands to reason, so I’m not sure what the complainers are going on about seems about on a par or better sound wise than the 5 other fans of varying shapes and sizes I have in my house for the air flow it gives.

Yes Instructions are rubbish and confusing. Disappointed that the power on claim doesn’t actually mean it powers on when it is switched on at the mains as wanted to pair it with a smart plug and still have to use the remote.

All in all though so far happy with it for the price I paid.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersThis fan has been fantastic, as a woman of a certain age I need to feel cool air at night to sleep, my partner however cannot sleep with my previous tower fan going, this fan is very powerful and on levels 1-2 is pretty quiet and he can sleep through it, I have it on a chest of drawers which is head height (when lying down) directly in front of us about 3-4 metres away and it is just enough to feel the breeze for a comfortable night. There are higher speed settings which are very powerful but they are noisier not massively but enough to disturb his lordship.

The best aspect of this fan is the remote control being able to switch it on/off/up/down whilst still in bed is fabulous, so there are no rows over whose turn it is to get up and fix the level.
This fan moves in a very clever way either or both up and down and side to side simultaneously, I’ve seen fans oscillate but not in a full circle like this one can. You can choose any or all of this capability but I don’t actually use this function as I want the airflow directed at me at all times lol but it looks cool.
    (Pun intended)

Its not cheap but it’s not as expensive as one of “those” fans but it is most definitely making my evenings better, I would recommend it. It is stylish looking and not too big the fan part being roughly the size of a football.

Give it a go you won’t regret it Ladies

I bought this to replace an existing tower fan which was doing a brilliant job at shifting air, but generated far too much noise in the process. I reviewed feedback on a number of fans, taking particular attention re noise, and decided on that basis alone to order the Woozoo. On arrival I was immediately staggered by how quiet the fan is. On the lowest setting it is virtually inaudible from only a metre while still generating a very respectable flow of air. Even at middle speed setting it is perfectly suitable for use in a bedroom. At full speed it generates a veritable Gale, still with an exceptionally low noise level. In reality there are few situations in which I can conceive the need for more than the middle volume setting. The amazing two axis oscillation, full function remote control, variable timer and excellent build quality are all just features which gild this already beautiful lilly. I must conclude my review as I have exhausted my stock of superlatives!
Just one suggestion. Perhaps a small slot to hold the remote control when not in use would be useful.
    Great job Woozoo!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI did lots of research before I chose this fan. It is for my bedroom to have near my bed. I have health issues which mean that at times I am far too hot and at other times far too cold, so I need to make sure I can cool myself down or be warmer when needed, easily and quickly. It has taken me some time to get this sorted! The fan is essential at times. It is quiet, powerful and I love the way it can oscillate.
IF I had to nit pick and find something negative it would be these things – it is expensive for what it is – but it is impossible to get one similar and as powerful cheaper – I could have bought an ordinary fan for a quarter of the price or less. The timer settings – would be nice if you had more choice, you can have 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours. Why not 3 or 5 or am I just being greedy? Look wise it is nice but my bedroom is white so it would have looked better if all white rather than a large black face. My pedestal fan is all white so blends in better. I don’t regret buying it and would rave about it more if it were cheaper. You pay a lot extra for the oscillating, so don’t bother if you do not need that. We bought a different fan for our lounge, it was cheaper and far more powerful but also bigger.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWhat a beautiful piece of technology and I’m not just saying that because its been hot. I missed out on this beauty last year but it was still in my wish list so I bought it second time around. This deserves more than 5 stars I mean I just cannot recommend this product enough. The fan has 10 speeds and speeds 1-4 are just so silent like a fart silent but deadly I mean you can’t see the breeze but you definitely know its there. (A bit like David Hasslehoff in Click when Adam Sandler farts in his face pauses with the remote then unfreezes). It oscillates vertically 90 or 120 degrees I think mmm who cares I forget I’m just so impressed. Ooh and with a 120degrees horizontal oscillation span with a distance of 54 meters. What can I say its just darn impressive . The design of the fan itself is just beautiful. Ah but Is it remote control you say don’t be silly of course it is nones getting up to do anything in this heat so the choice of timer functions with this fan extremely handy. This fan is everything that is everything in a fan which wasn’t but what should have been in the “Laminated book of dreams”.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI was impressed with this. It feels well made. The fan head is about 24 cm across, but is very powerful and yet quiet, at least at the lower end of the ten speed settings.
Even as low as speed setting three you can feel a fair old breeze from more than 10 feet away and it only starts to make any appreciable sound above setting four.
It has a nice wide, stable base, (about 24cm across) on which all the control buttons are set out. These include on/off, the ten speed options, timer settings and the ability to have the fan head rotate left to right automatically, or vertically up and down (it points all the way to the ceiling and back horizontal, on this cycle). The base also has a little slot to hold the remote, so it doesn’t get lost, which I thought was a nice touch. You can also use the included remote to access all the fan functions, so there is no need to get up to change speed, direction, etc.
You can also set the angle of the head to various positions, from the horizontal to direct the fan air up or down.
The neck of the fan can also be increased manually by a few centimeters, taking the fan from about 54 cm tall to 60 cm.

It comes fully assembled, so all you need do is plug it in and away you go and has an approximately 170cm cable, so pretty long and is fitted with standard UK plug.

I’ve used it as both a table and floor-based fan and it works very well as either.

    Nice fan.

    Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful but quiet standing fan, with rotating head function and remote. Recommended.
