I would recommend buying speakers to plug via the connecters as some brife case recorder players has the tenancy to jump. Was recommend this via local vinyl shop owner.
This is my first record player so I have nothing to compare it to, however, I love it! I didn’t want anything too expensive as I only wanted it to listen to Elvis on vinyl. I adore the way it looks and the fact you can use Bluetooth to play songs from Spotify too makes it very versatile. Sound quality is very good.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my sister and she loves it. The overall quality of the product is fantastic. Thank you.
Not so good points : Low power output from in-built speakers (but as advertised/expected). No place inside to store the power supply (and there is plenty of room)making slightly less convenient to travel with it. No information offered on where or how to get replacement cartridges – which manual says should be replaced after a set time of use.
Great little player, great for what I need
It’s for fun and to make sure that you still like those discs not played for years.
Sound good but not great but as expected for price
Great item but sound isn’t great but add external speakers and it’s fine
It was ok on the whole, but the sound was often too fast or too slow. For the price though, it’s good!
A very decent and affordable record player. The sound quality is great and it plays every record I’ve placed on it. It also clips shut like a suitcase so that it can be carried around. When carrying it around, it is light and doesn’t weigh much at all.
I bought this for a birthday present for my daughter. Its perfect and just what she wanted
It plays new and old records without any problems. The sound quality is good and you can pair your phone and other devices with Bluetooth. The colour is lovely, it’s compact, easy to move around and lightweight. It’s a perfect gift and I like it that much I’m thinking of getting one for myself.
I wasn’t sure whether to buy it or not because the other reviews seemed a little robot generated but i can say that it is an amazing record player! Although if you are someone that has had top notch record players in that past, yes you will notice a difference in a 40 record player. But if you’re like me and you aren’t looking to fully shell out on one and just want one that’ll play your records and works pretty good as a bluetooth speaker too, i definitely recommend!!!
his was my first record player, and i must say it’s amazing!! great price, the sound quality is pretty good- especially since it’s built-in speakers, the colour is beautiful and the material is good quality!! plays really well, and super easy to use- i got it working in 1 min 🙂 would highly recommend <3
This portable record player, I bought just to listen to my mum & dad’s old records that were in the loft, as a child I did own a portable record player, it could hold 8 singles and play them one at a time, but it big and heavy and wasn’t very loud, so wasn’t expecting very much from this record player, well I couldn’t believe how good it is, the sound is good and in my opinion loud enough, easy to use, compact and portable.
Very glad I bought this record player and enjoying the old records. Brings back memories
Design is great. Super easy to use.
Unfortunately the sound is not that great, but you can always plug better speakers in, so not that bad for the price.
Cool little gadget and would still recommend.
Discs play satisfactorily, and the controls are straightforward. Even slight warps can cause the stylus to jump, but this is not normally a problem. There is no significant rumble. There was some flutter initially, particularly at 45rpm, but this has reduced with use to become almost imperceptible now. The ceramic cartridge played through the internal speakers produces an adequate sound, but understandably not hifi. The sound improves greatly on headphones or external equipment, with reasonable bass coming through on organ music, timpani and the like.
The unit has wireless (Bluetooth) input; there is also a 3.5mm line input. Playing music from my phone wirelessly through the unit’s onboard speakers produces a really quite good sound with plenty of presence and some bass. The wireless function is only for input, not for wireless output to an external speaker etc. Pressing the Bluetooth button (peculiarly labelled “phono “) cuts the power to the turntable motor.
All in all at this price level it’s a pleasing, portable, well built product with good features.
If you are of the late 70’s early 80’s kids & wander what to get dad for father’s day, look no further!!!! My dad has been hankering to listen to his vinyl lately but our old hifi with the turntable died years ago!!! This little suitcase turntable has amazing speakers, the actual needle supplied is properly decent!!!! The 3 speeds are brilliant so we can play all the music!!! The speakers pack a punch and there are all the usual RF ports & headphone jack you expect!!! It can just about handle albums, it was scary tight but it did work!!! Definitely recommend for retro nights & as portable as long as you can plug into mains power or a power source with enough capacity!!!! Excited to get some new vinyl & enjoy the summer nights
This is perfectly adequate to play my long lost collection of 1970 singles. The sound is fine (for me personally). Took me back to my teenage years! It’s great for transporting around. Not worked out how to pair it with other speakers yet. I love the colour turquoise. My only criticism is that just before the record ends, the needle can come to an abrupt halt and not necessarily when the song has finished. As you have to manually lift it up at the end, you might not always be ready. Would still recommend this for the small cost.
At last, I have a reasonably priced record player which is enabling me to review our collection of vinyl records on ‘nostalgia’ nights. Sound reproduction and volume good . Halfway through cleaning and playing collection. No bass/treble adjustment but balance is satisfactory.
It does everything I expected of it.
This is a pretty basic entry-level Record Player.
I’ve read reviews elsewhere that the sound quality is not good, Now the sound quality is that of a car stereo, but not terrible. I use a DAB Radio as the speaker as this adds more bass. I knew all this before purchasing.
Yes, it works, its looks great. Sound is OK but I knew that before hand.
I bought this for my daughter for her Christmas, and she loves it. The record player has a gentle auto placement onto the record, which helps avoid scratching (ideal for a first time vinyl user). There are inbuilt speakers, which are fine for one, but would be quiet if you had people round. But the big advantage here is the portability. There is a clamp to keep the arm in place when closing. Given my daughter is at University, the portability was a big plus, as she can easily take this around with her when she wishes. She really loves it, and has a love of playing the vinyl records.
Great little item. Bought as a gift for mum and she loves it. Didn’t have high expectations for sound but great considering the two little built in speakers. Like that it can be put away when not in use so don’t need to find a permanent home for it. Plus really easy to take to different rooms. If you’re a vinyl and music aficionado, then this probably won’t meet your standards or expectations. But if you just want something cheap and cheerful to play records occasionally, this is ideal. Excellent value for money.
In days gone by I’ve paid ten times this just for a turntable (and the money was worth more then!), and don’t even ask what I’ve paid for speakers. And guess what – this doesn’t compete. Nor can it.
But my wife can just plug this in and play her records and she loves it and we I smile.
And the fact that most of her records are warped means it doesn’t matter there’s some wow and flutter from the turntable, or the speakers are a bit quiet and tinny.
And she’s still not allowed anywhere near my good stuff – and I still don’t use it because it’s a faff.
But this is simple and quick and it works and we’re rediscovering some vinyl we haven’t heard for years because some of it never made it to CD.
And that is what this is excellent at.
I was on a budget when buying this 2 years ago, and it’s been better than expected. It’s lasted very well, hasn’t damaged my vinyls (always a worry when buying budget vinyl players!) and has survived a few >100-mile car journeys. The speakers aren’t great at louder volumes but that was to be expected, and you can plug in your own speaker to improve this. It’s made of decent quality materials but of course is not as good as record players hundreds of pounds more. There’s a slight issue with wobbling occasionally, but this is easily fixed by tightening the base.
If you have the budget, I would recommend skipping this and going for a Crosley from about 80-90 though they’re not that much better than this one.
The Portable unit came in a faux baby blue leather case with chrome accent features which gave it a look from the 80’s. I was born in the very late 1970 (cough) and my entire family listened to vinyl records so I was Very excited to see how well they have come along in sound and designed. To be honest nothing has really changed.
Back in the good old days the vinyl record players would be on top of your hi-fi system which had two big old speakers plugged into the back of the hifi. With this one you have two small front facing speakers built into the briefcase, so all you need to do is plug it in then into a wall socket, put on your favorite record and you’re instantly listening to music, The way it should be played 🙂

Overall The color is vibrant. The product came very quickly and arrived unharmed. It plays my vinyls Perfectly and the Bluetooth is a welcome perk. The speakers are plenty loud enough, and the quality is A+
Soooooo PLEASED !!
Loved the design, the colour, the convenience of being able to pack it away when needed, and the compact size and shape. Sadly, a little disappointed with the performance. It tends to skip on the first track of every record, and the sound is quite “tinny”. When I played “Rumours” by Fleetwood Mac I thought at first it must be the Chipmunks from my distant childhood because it sounded so speeded up and distorted. The sound tends to improve a bit after the first track of each record. Could this be to do with the arm not being correctly weighted? I seem to remember hi-fi buffs in the past putting special weights on, but as I wasn’t a hi-fi buff I didn’t take much notice at the time! I think I got what I paid for, and it is certainly wonderful to hear all those long lost records again even if the rich sound of my much loved linear tracking system is missing.
