I spent a good few days looking at decking lights deciding which ones would be best suited for my needs. I’m so glad i chose these lights as the seller is so helpful with any questions, also the lights are fantastic and are really bright but can be dimmed down there are loads of features what the lights can perform. I had one small problem a few weeks after purchase and the seller rectified that problem immediately, the customer service I received was second to none (better than John Lewis) i can HIGHLY recommend these lights and seller

These lights work well, with nice range of modes that are available once I downloaded the app. Digital setup was as straightforward as select the number of bulbs I had connected, how bright I wanted them and colour choice plus various flashing pre programs, piece of cake! They make for a very vibrant and customisable bit of accent lighting.
Wanted some colour changing LED lights for my new garden project, These were perfect.
Install straight forward you will need a 45mm diameter drill bit to install them and being IP rated meant that power supply and receiver could be installed under the wooden steps that i had made with suitable protection for mains cable.
1) Mains cable very short so power supply needs to be in close proximity to power point otherwise cable would need to be extended adding additional time and cost to install.
2) Cable between lights is 1 meter long so positioning of lights needs to take this into consideration. Extension cables are available at a reasonable price from the supplier if you require.
Lighting performs very well with excellent brightness and colour rendition. Set up was easy to the app, Alexa integration was really simple. I love the music mode and even though the control unit is under the step it still picks up well.
Over all super happy and i will be buying more in the new year for the second phase of the garden

These are just lovely RGB decking lights.
I have them installed upon the roof of my garden summer house and along with the cream colour it is painted, these lights really just make it look a dream.
I love the fact I can alter and change the colours when I want within the mobile app in which is nice and easy to use too.
They were quite straight forward to fit, which we drilled the correct bore holes for the decking lights to be nice and snug fit for a good hold and they are not going anywhere out of place which is fabulous so just make sure you drill the right size holes and do not drill too big otherwise they will just fall out.
You could always start off smaller and work your way to bigger if need be, but just not the other way around if that makes sense so start of small and you will not go wrong then.
They are a good brightness to the lights and definitely stand out as my main feature in our back yard.
Good quality materials too and seem like they are made to last quite some years, hopefully, we shall see.
I’m having these fitted into the new kitchen when it arrives so they’re not fitted yet.
I can only go by what I see until I update this after they are fitted.
Opening the box you can see that the lights are very high quality. They are well made and come with full instructions.
I love that they can be controlled by alexa and will update this soon although I don’t envisage any installation or usage issues.
This is a lovely set of lights for your deck or kitchen even. You will need a 45mm drill bit and a bit of time to setup but it is all fairly straight forward for a competent DIY-er and well worth it. Use some string to pull the power leads though adjacent holes if you can’t reach underneath but note the plug/tramsformer is quite long. The lights sit snugly and quite discreetly into the holes and the power cords are daisy chained so you don’t have to use all ten if you don’t want to. Once on though you can connect to them via Wi-Fi (2.4GHz), the magic starts to happen and you can program colours, brightness modes and even music synching. Really pleased with these, they are low voltage weather proof and just excellent. Get these and party like an MP.
The first thing I noticed when they arrived are they are much smaller than I had imagine but in a good way. They are 45mm in diameter and the instruction say 33mm cut out hole but I used a 35mm hole saw which did the job just fine. They can be max 1m spaced apart and the cable can be extended by buying the extension from same seller. The light can be all white or changeable via the app. They are really neat and tidy and make a great addition to a patio or decking area, very pleased with them. App is easy to setup and use.

Already having my decking installed, the first thing I realised when setting these up is that some parts of it weren’t going to be fun. Setting up the lights in the app and using them, super easy 🙂
The actual installation isn’t difficult, and if you’re buying new decking, getting it the lights installed in the beginning simplifies the entire process greatly. My decking had smaller 35mm holes in it from the previous lights, and the only thing I found tricky was getting the right tool for making the holes 45mm.
Wiring up us really easy too, each light has two ends and the ends can only be connected one way, the right way. Each connector has its own water tight seal and the last light can be capped off to keep everything safe.
Once you’ve got the hardware installed and powered, you’ll notice that some of the lights might not turn on, for me I think it was the first 5 that lit up, but the last 4 did not (I only needed 9 if the 10). Don’t worry about this, once you get it linked up in the app, go into the light and it will give you the option to choose how many lights are connected to the strip. Once you choose the right amount, they will light up correctly.
The app is easy and most of you will be familiar with it already, it’s Tuya/Smartlife. The downloaded interface is well suited to the lights as well, unlike some of the others ones I’ve used in the last couple of years. Google home integration is spot on, allowing you to turn them off and on, change brightness, colour ETC without issues. It supports Alexa too and I assume that it would be just as smooth a process.
The lights are plenty bright, and the colours are nice and saturated too. My old decking lights were just white, no RGB, yet these RGB lights put out a nicer (tweak-able) and brighter white. If you’re using these on the sides of steps, or in situations where they point out towards the ground, you’ll get some proper illumination.
I don’t really have anything that sticks out as a sore point for these. As I mentioned earlier, it’s just a bit of work if you’ve already got your decking installed, but that’s going to be applicable to any lights you install after the fact. One thing I noticed was that the actual light power supply has a variable voltage range which would be perfect to power off of 12v Solar. 10v – 20v if memory serves, yet they only included a standard AC plug adaptor. It would have been really nice if it came with the needed parts to wire it to my outside battery. But yeah, I’m nitpicking here. Happy to recommend these 🙂
Received a pack of 10 outdoor mains powered lights, which are well made and look great.
I like these, however, you fix these by dropping them in to the decking, you’ll need a 45mm diameter drill bit to drill the hole, they then sit in nice and snug.
When installed they do look effective, there is a fair amount of work in the installation, the wiring, the cables etc, running them along the edge is best as far as cables go.
The pack comes with all the power supplies and inverter connections.
You have the option of downloading an app which seems to cover a lot of features and functions very well.
You are able to connect too Alexa if you’re within the wifi set up, but functions are limited and you have more options on the app.
A very nice set of lights, they will take some installing, effects are great.
This decking light kit comes in a retail cardboard box and inside you’ll find 10 decking lights, LED controller, 3-pin power supply, and a controller manual leaflet.
The deck lights are nicely made with a stainless-steel outer ring and an LED cover in the centre. The cover is diffused which makes these perfect for ambient lighting as it softens the light. Each light is 4.4cm measured across and are 2.5cm deep but you’ll need 3.5cm of room for the cables that protrude from the bottom of the light. Each light has two cables coming out of the bottom and one is the power input, and the other is a power output. This enables you to daisy chain the lights together and each light will power the next one and so on. Each cable has a waterproof, screw tight connection so they won’t allow any water to ingress into the terminal.
There is an LED controller which allows you to manually control the light by turning them on and off and cycling through 8 different light sequences. This is also where the microphone is which is how the lights can dance to your music. You get more control of the lights by using the Tuya app and this allows you to directly select the light sequences and even the colours from your phone. It is really simple to use, and your finger taps immediately make the lights respond to what you want them to do. The lights do require a 2.4ghz Wi-Fi connection though and won’t connect up on a 5.0ghz channel. You can either log into your router and disable the 5.0ghz channel, connect to the lights, and then turn the 5.0ghz channel back on or you can move your phone further away from your router and it’ll automatically put you on the 2.4ghz channel which you can then connect the lights to the internet via your phone. Once you have connected the lights to the 2.4ghz channel, they will only connect to this channel, so you won’t have to do the setup again at any time.
I really like these lights as they are IP67 rated, so are safe for outside use, and you can control them via Alexa by enabling the skill. You do need to keep the 3-pin plug dry though and I’d recommend keeping the LED controller dry too, even though the manual says its waterproof. These also look great when used around the home so you can practically use them anywhere where there is an electrical outle

These are rated IP67 so they’re fully waterproof. It’s a set of 10 decking lights with power supply. You can use these as ceiling lights in a shower cubicle as they’re IP67 rated, or in a kitchen plinth and no need to worry about them getting wet from a mop. Comes with the remote that selects colours, brightness mode and on/off setting.
Since these are not stand-alone lights, you will need a 45mm diameter drill bit to install them into your deck. They fit snuggly into this hole size and look really good. The cable joints between each light are easy to make. the connectors daisy chain together. The Power supply has two mounting points on it for screwing it to a decking support if you wish. With the right tools (drill and 45mm drill bit for deck installation) they are quick and easy to install and the low profile finished result looks great.
Fitting by press fit into the holes and spring locked into place, and useful for either indoor or outdoor due to the IP 67 rated cables, that are sealed between the screw plastic nuts and up to the control unit. which can be screwed onto wall with the mo8unting holes and fittings included.
The end cap is included for the final open link which must be sealed with this when fitting is complete, as to prevent touching an open connection or to prevent water ingress if used outside.
Overall, this set of lights looks really nice especially when used outdoors on a deck. You can also use these indoors with no issues and I’m sure they’d look equally as good.

You get a decent amount of light from them but seems a bit on the dear side.
Finely working multicoloured lights for indoor or outdoor application. This very good quality and user friendly same as very easy to set up ,mod /adjust or use via your phone. You can change the settings and frequency of the lights to match more less any personal preferences. These lights are compatible with Alexa and & APP control .You have got Wifi or Bluetooth availability to choose from ,there is an option of
music synchronisation ,timing and few more handy functions . Anyway,this on deck lights are made from stainless steel type I think so corrosion proof same as IP67 waterproof rating but what is more important this lights are safe

Gorgeous multicoloured lights for indoors or outdoors. You will need to do some DIY to make the cubby holes needed for each light. But they are very good quality and easy to use via your phone. You can change the settings and frequency of the lights to suit you. Good value.
