Abus Faltschloss, wie man es schon beinahe seit Generationen gewohnt ist: fhlt sich sehr stabil an, lsst sich gut schlieen, Tragevorrichtung ist einfach am Fahrrad zu befestigen und hlt sich bei schnelleren und hgeligeren Fahrten gut. Kann’s nur empfehlen.
I am a cyclist and have bought lots of Abus products–helmets and locks and other stuff. But no more. This is the second Abus combination lock that I bought, and the quality seems quite good, but the service from the company is not. I wrote to them twice, informing them that the dial on this lock I just received was frozen and the lock does not work. They sent me a form letter for me to request return approval. No attempt to deal with me personally or troubleshoot it. I wrote to them again, but did not hear back. Is that they way these companies are going to treat us. We have to deal with their mistakes and, in their arrogance, they just ignore us forcing us to box the thing up and make the big effort to return it. This lock is expensive. Where is the service? What about quality control? I ended up finally calling Amazon and had to take a loss of money to get UPS to pick it up because it is not convenient for me to go to their store. When we all stop buying products from these companies who do not respect us as consumers they might learn a lesson. Do not buy from Abus.

I upgraded my current ebike to the Trek Allant+ 8S few week ago and I am searching for a new lock to secure my bike.
After searched on Abus website, some bike shops in New Zealand and I came up with this Abus Bordo Combo 6100 model. Before purchasing, I read all reviews and most buyers mention this lock does not come up with the Velo trap but my bike came with the trap. Perfect fit on my bike.
Lock is a bit heavier than I expected but I work very well. Velo trap perfectly fit into the bike frame. I have to fit in this position because of the easy of removal. I like to fit in the vertical frame but I found it hard to remove, then I change to this position.
When riding on the bumpy road, there are a little bit noise, I believe it comes from the combination. I will test more and hopefully I am wrong.
Overall, this is a good lock, security rating is 9/15 so I will protect your valued bike.
Only two minors:
– Weight: a bit heavy but provide more secure
– A bit noise from the combination (unsure, need more testing)
But I still recommend this lock!!!!!
Il massimo sarebbe stato uno spessore di 7mm per dormire sereno di notte, ma 5mm ti permettono tranquillit nelle medio/brevi soste durante il tuo percorso.
Ho cercato e scelto la modalit con combinazione per poterlo utilizzare tra pi membri della famiglia senza il rischio di scambio e perdita chiavi!
Pronti partenza e via, la custodia offre una soluzione eccezionale per il suo trasposto!
Soddisfatto anche se livello 9 di sicurezza mi lascia perplesso! ma sempre meglio del livello 10 con chiave.
La massima sicurezza la si ha solo dai 7mm in su
Got this lock for my new bike (Trek Marlin 6 -2021 model) as I had one of those spiral cable locks that is cumbersome to attach to bike during transit and looks terrible in comparison.
Pros:
– Lock comes with lock pouch, can be attached via screws for water bottle mounts or with supplied velcro straps.
– It’s a combination lock, so you don’t need to carry a key and risk losing the key. It appears to have the facility to re-set the combination lock as long as you don’t forget what the previous combination is.
– Looks great, fits flush with bike frame as per photo
– It doesn’t rattle in the pouch as it’s a rubber pouch
Cons:
– It is significantly heavier than the spiral lock I had (hopefully heavier = more secure!)
– Due to size, wouldn’t work mounting it vertically on my bike, which was annoying
In my subjective opinion, the pros outweighs the cons, I am very happy with this lock and would recommend it for sure!
I had a D-Lock but it would always annoy me, seeing as it’s too bulky to properly mount to the bike frame. It was also too short to fit around anything except a bike rack (couldn’t fit around a fence or tree etc…).
This folding lock solves both these problems. It comes with a mounted holder which holds the lock perfectly in the water bottle spot (and uses less space than the average water bottle would).
The folding lock is also longer than a D-lock so you can secure your bike to most things without needing an extra cable.
You lose a bit of security compared to a D-lock, but for me the benefits far outweigh the security downgrade.
Comodissimo. Temevo che sarebbe stato scomodo da usare, invece quasi meglio del bloster (lucchettone classico a U). La cosa che apprezzo di pi legata al fatto che occupa pochissimo spazio e non intralcia la pedalata. L’ho installato sul tubo verticale e non d il minimo fastidio.
Mi dicono essere anche molto robusto…lo vedremo.
Su internet girano video che spiegano come sbloccare la combinazione. Sono per video fatti in casa, in serenit e ci si impiega almeno 5’/10′. Posto che non so se sono veritieri, credo che, in ogni caso, in 5’/10′ rompi se vuoi qualunque lucchetto.
Excellent produit fiable sans cls et robuste, j en avait un depuis 5 ans et ai eu besoin d un second, j ai des velos a plus de 3keur et personne n a jamais essay de forcer mon antivol.
This is the second time I have ordered this product. Excellent. I like that this is a combination lock, as I will not have to carry an additional key with me. I will be using it for my Rad Runner, in combination with a wearable Litelok Gold.

Da ich jetzt mein Rad stndig drauen lassen muss, habe ich mir dieses sehr stabile, hoffentlich abschreckend wirkende Schloss, gekauft. Die Handhabung ist am Anfang etwas gewhnungsbedrftig, da es doch sehr sperrig geht. Aber mit der Zeit habe ich mich daran gewhnt. Etwas nervig ist, dass man die Zahlen sehr exakt einstellen muss. Ist eine Zahl auch nur einen – frs Auge nicht unbedingt sichtbar – ein ganz klein wenig verrckt, geht es nicht auf. Das ist jetzt im Winter mit der frhen Dunkelheit nervi je nachdem, wo das Rad steht. Manchmal ging trotz exakten Einstellens der Zahlen das Schloss trotzdem nicht auf. Ein bichen Graphitstaub wirkte da Wunder. Jetzt ist alles prima.
Es gibt auch einen Stern Abzug, weil die mitgeliefterte Befestigung am Rad nicht wirklich einsetzbar ist, da sie einen Klettverschluss hat und von jedem direkt abmontiert werden kann. Daher befestige ich das Schloss nicht am Rad, sondern habe es im Rucksack bzw. auf dem Gepcktrger.

Cmodo porque no llevar llave es una ventaja, lleva un accesorio para llevarlo en la bici, bien atornillado al cuadro o fijado por unos vlcros. Evidentemente por su longitud solo te coge cuadro y rueda trasera.
It is very heavy bike lock but safe to be locked in the public but it is quite small size, can lock it with back wheel and a frame as well. Can’t go wrong with it.
I like this lock but it is only silver I didn’t know but now I do.
It works well and is always about when I need it.
Es hat Sicherheitsstufe 9 von 15, was mir fr mein Rad vollkommen ausreichend erscheint, da ich es quasi nie nachts oder an wenig belebten Orten anschliee.
Ich bin bis jetzt bequem an jedem Fahrradstnder zurechtgekommen, aber um eine Laterne wrde es sicher nicht reichen.
Anfangs war ich skeptisch, weil ich eigentlich ein Schloss mit Schlssel wollte aber mittlerweile finde ich es ohne Schlssel, den man erst irgendwoher rauskramen muss, viel praktischer. Die Zahlen lassen sich meiner Meinung nach leicht einstellen und das Schloss ffnet sich auch ohne Schwierigkeiten. Knnte mir aber vorstellen, dass Mnner mit groen Hnden Probleme haben. Mir ist aufgefallen- und das finde ich auch gut so- dass es wirklich nur dann zu ffnen geht, wenn man die Zahlen exakt eingestellt hat.
Am tollsten finde ich die dazugehrende Halterung, die sich einfach mit den Schrauben, die fr eine Trinkflaschenhalterung vorgesehen sind, am Rahmen des Rades befestigen lsst. Es sieht schick aus und es wackelt und klappert absolut nichts!
Ich bin mit dem Kauf bis jetzt sehr zufrieden und kann es weiterempfehlen.
Jeder, der sein Rad oft drauen (auch nachts) lassen muss und eine hohe Sicherheit bentigt, sollte sowieso zwei Schlsser benutzen.
Lorsque l’on est en pocession d’un vlo urbain pouvant etre convoit par divers personnes il est impratif de pouvoir l’attacher comme il se doit.
C’est chose faite avec cet antivol d’une longueur sufisante pour prendre le cadre et la roue arriere avec un mobilier urbain.
Le poids n’est pas terrible mais si il faut en passer par l pour etre rassur, alors je dit c’est pas grave.
L’antivol code sans clefs c’est le pied.
La solution qu’il vous faut pour la scurit de votre vlo.
Pour une raison inconnue ce produit tait 45 quand je l’ai achet. A ce prix l, je n’ai pas hsit. Cet antivol est simple d’utilisation, facile manipuler, et solide.
La longueur de 90cm suffit, mais 10cm de plus m’auraient parfois bien servis.
Le seul point noir est le poids, mais c’est le problme de tous les antivols de ce style.
