The tubing is very easy to use. Simply cut it to the desired length, and it fits snugly over my cables. I love that it’s flexible yet sturdy, allowing me to bend and shape it as needed without it becoming cumbersome. The 1/2 inch size is perfect for accommodating various types of cables, from chargers to audio cables.

What I appreciate the most is that it effectively deters my cat from chewing on the cords. Since using this protector, I haven’t had to deal with any damaged cables, which saves me both money and frustration. The black color is sleek and discreet, blending well with my home decor.

Installation was a breeze, and the quality of the material is impressive. It feels durable, and I can tell it will last for a long time. Plus, the 10ft length means I have plenty of material to cover multiple cords without needing to purchase more.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI recently purchased the Alex Tech 10ft – 1/2 inch Cord Protector, and it has been a game-changer for my cable management needs. Here are some key points from my experience:

Durability and Quality: The material feels robust and high-quality. Made from polyethylene, it can withstand a wide range of temperatures, from -103F to 257F, and has a melt temperature of 446F1. This makes it suitable for various environments, whether it’s for home, office, or automotive use.

Ease of Use: The split design is incredibly convenient. Loading wires into the sleeve is straightforward, and once inside, the sleeve closes on itself, providing a secure wrap. This feature is particularly useful for organizing multiple cables without the hassle of threading them through a closed tube.

Protection: One of the standout features is its ability to protect cables from pets. If you have a cat that loves to chew on cords, this sleeve is a lifesaver1. It provides a sturdy barrier that deters chewing, keeping your cables safe and intact.

Versatility: This cable sleeve is versatile enough to be used for various types of cables, including USB, power cords, and audio/video cables. Whether you’re tidying up your home entertainment system or organizing your office desk, this product gets the job done.

Aesthetics: The black colour and sleek design help it blend seamlessly with most setups. It not only organizes but also enhances the overall look of your cable management system.

Value for Money: Given its durability, ease of use, and protective features, the Alex Tech Cord Protector offers excellent value for money. It’s a small investment that can save you from the bigger hassle of damaged cables and messy setups.

Overall, I highly recommend the Alex Tech 10ft – 1/2 inch Cord Protector for anyone looking to improve their cable management. It’s a reliable, versatile, and cost-effective solution that delivers on its promises.

I didn’t check properly before ordering and thought that it had a zip on the side like my other cable tidier. However, these ones are actually much better without the zip! It takes longer to place the wires in but well worth the extra time because it’s much more sturdy and keeps a nice, tight fit around the wires. If I need more, I will certainly reorder!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent - exactly what I needed

Highly effective solution for organizing and protecting cables. Its sleek and tidy appearance enhances the overall aesthetics of any space, I use them for my office cables. Additionally, the tubing reduces clutter and helps prevent potential tripping hazards, making it both a functional and safety-conscious choice.

This was a punt but I have to say that for cable management of my wall mounted TV this is excellent. Easy to put on – covering x4 power/signal cables – very neat and due to the surface roughness and elasticity – self-supporting. Exceeded my expectations. Looks very professional.

I’ve bought this to tidy up the mass of cables behind my computer desk. The amount you get is quite sufficient and I have cut it in to pieces for the various cables I have. It cuts fairly easily too.

The diameter is just enough to fit in maybe 3 thick cables or 5 normal cables, although you will need to work them into the tidy so that they go it. I didnt find it very easy to open to put the cables in, however I imagine this is needed to stop them falling out. So far, the cables have held inside the tidy on my desk, even when raising and lowering it (it’s a standing desk)

It is a little flexible but when stuffed with cables, it is rigid enough to hold them inside.

It looks like it would be very easy ro clean, just needing a whipe with a cloth.

Quite versatile and looks much more tidy than before.

I didn’t get this for cables I got it for wrapping around the stems of a shrub that the snails were attacking!
Easy to wrap around as it was split and flexible and so far it has worked fine.

I used it to make a stage loom for drum kit xlr cables. I asked a lot of it but managed to get around 7 in there. The lion is so much tidier now.

Good value for money. You get a decent length and the stretchy material means that despite the 1/2 inch diameter you can actually fit a fair bit more than a 1/2 inch of cabling in there.

I had a couple of different lengths of cable in different locations that needed sheathing and I found this pretty easy to cut through with regular scissors to cut to the lengths I required.

Black aesthetic goes well with the rest of my set-up.

All round a great product, only slight gripe is that the material is a little bit shiny, not matte as I expected. But this is a very minor issue in the grand scheme.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality braided cable

It has tidied all the trailing cables that run from the back of the TV, and 2 thick black cables look better than 7 or 8 thin ones..
I’m not sure that all the cabling can be hidden, there just too much of it, ethernet, co axial cables…
Hopefully this will make dusting easier.

This product is really neat and tidy and against a white wall you hardly notice it. Easy to use and tidied up the cables nicely. Easily hides an hdmi cable and power lead to the tv. Thoroughly recommended

Where has this product been hiding away! I teach from home and have to be mindful of health & safety issues. This product was easy to use on my laptop charger lead, giving a neater look and trailing lead is safer instantly! I can’t express how brilliant it is. I only have one lead in it but it would accommodate more. Get rid of your clutter and the tatty Lok of messy leads today. A very happy customer!

Used this to conceal a pair of surround sound cables running along my lounge floor.
As can been seen in photo these now blend in well with the skirting board and floor beading.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt is brilliant and strong for keeping all cables neat and tidy however it says in the description cats don’t like chewing this cable wrap so they will leave it alone, as you can see from the video I must have a broken cat as she LOVES this cable wrap lol she literally played with it for over an hour I would still recommend though as it is very strong and durable

Actually love this as a cable tidy, it’s such a fantastic solution. Previously I’ve used big black plastic wrap or cable ties however this can be cut to size, is extremely easy to remove or add wires to and looks even better when against a wall of the matching colour. A white cable tidy against a white wall is near Invisible. This had made the asthetics so much nicer as well as being tidier. A real double win.

Will defo return for more when needed!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersRecently bought this cord protector, so far it seems quite reliable and is indeed helping organize my cables and clean up my setup.

The material feels durable and is flexible, it does protect cables from wear and tear (based on a few minor tests) and can confirm cats do not like the cable.

The 10 feet length is great but the 1/8-inch diameter version is absolutely way too small, after I received it I immediately bought the 1.25-inch version.

The black color is nice but I do wish they had a white version, additionally, some of the cables slipped out because I filled it up to the brim.

Overall, I would say it’s reliable and effectively organizes and protects cables, although it could be better, I would recommend it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs a pet owner, the Alex Tech 25ft Cord Protector has been an absolute lifesaver for me and my furry friend. The split sleeving design and durable construction of this cord protector have provided impeccable protection for my USB cables, power cords, and audio-video cables, shielding them from potential damage caused by bending or accidental falls. The standout feature that sets this product apart is its ability to effectively deter my curious cat from chewing on cords, ensuring their safety and preventing any costly accidents. Installation was a breeze, even for someone with limited technical skills like myself, thanks to the user-friendly design. With a generous 25ft length, I can easily manage and organize multiple cables without any hassle. The sleek black color adds a touch of elegance to my surroundings, seamlessly blending into my decor. The only minor downside I’ve noticed is the limited color variety, but considering the remarkable performance and peace of mind it provides, the Alex Tech Cord Protector is an essential accessory for pet owners looking to safeguard their cables.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAlthough I can’t argue with the end result of my wires looking a lot more tidy and organised, I do have some minor complaints. Firstly being how fiddly it is to get the wires wrapped in, it’s a bit of a hassle but worth it for the result. Secondly, cutting and having to burn the ends to seal it off from fraying isn’t ideal, it’d be nice if the material was different and didn’t have that issue. And lastly, the wires can slip out a bit at the ends if you’re moving things a bit (I regularly turn my TV on it’s movable wall bracket), but I imagine that’s not going to be a common issue for others uses.
For the price, I can’t complain that much, it’s still fine I guess. Just think it could be a lot better.
